Get ready to travel

Hi, I’m trying to reserve a train to Poland in september, but it says that all the seats are already booked. What do i do?

Have two passes starting Sep. 10. First train is from Geneva at 9:15AM but when I tried to get seat reservations it only showed from Noon. Should I get those or is it for a different train or am I trying to get them too early or what is going on? Thanks in advance

We are going to Europe in September (for 30 days) and will be visiting 8 countries (Amsterdam, Belgium, London England, Paris France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and Germany). We plan on 8-10 travel days via train during our trip.  Questions:which train pass is best for us to purchase—Eurostar/global mobile pass or global mobile flex pass? We will be moving around every 2-4 days.  where is the safest/best online site to purchase the train tickets (we want to purchase them now) Will we need a separate train pass going from Belgium to London and London to Paris? If we purchase 1st class tickets, will we actually get seat confirmations or is there another step to the process?

Hi, one question. I would like a quote to leave Italy and go to Slovakia and back. In the pisos selector select only Italy (departure) and Slovakia (arrival)? Or do I necessarily have to select Austria as well? Because it gives me different costs. I should just visit Slovakia without (possibly) stopping in Austria. Does the use of the ticket refer to within 24 hours of the initial stamp? Because necessarily I would only need the first day out and the day of return about 10 days awayCiao, una domanda. (ENGLISH)Hello,I'm still brand new here and would like to start in a month & don't want to do anything wrong … In my selected route abroad and also on my selected route back to the home country, i get a notification saying  “Conditions are valid" (orange bars, see picture 1). It is said that these conditions apply to travel with a one country pass and that more information could be found under "travel information".Unfortunately, I couldn't find any "travel information", nor find out why this notification is not displayed for all of the possibile routes this day  (but exactly for the routes we have chosen, since we are happy to have longer stops at the individual train stations —> picture 2 and 3).What do I have to do now or do I have to consider something special? Hi, in August 2022, my girlfriend and I are going for a 1 month Interrail trip. Our route is in nothern europe starting in Helsinki, over Oulu, Stockholm, Oslo, Göteborg, Kopenhagen, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Strassbourg, Zurich, Munich and Vienna.Now we are thinking about getting the 1st class interrail pass which is about €170 more expensive compared to the 2nd class pass. Does anyone know if it’s worth to get the 1st class ticket on this route?Thanks in advance!

Dear everyone,I was hoping that someone could help me with the following: I am trying to make a seat reservation for the train from Berlin to Gdansk, but I get the following pop up message: ‘No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that the train is fully booked for pass holders. Please try searching for another connection or find an alternative way to book’.For me it is hard to believe that this train is fully booked as it is in 2 months and it does not seem like a super popular route to me.. I did understood that reservations also can be made at the station, but I’d rather do this in advance. Could anyone help me? :) Thank you so much in advance!!!P.s. one last question: sometimes seat reservation is recommended but not required. Could it be possible, when no reservation is made, that you are not allowed into the train? 

Is delivery of mobile eurail passes really instant?! Or is there a delay of hours or a day or so while it is processed?I know its probably best to buy in advance etc, but in theory can you buy on the day and activate for same day usage?

My group and I were awarded passes and are travelling with a flexy one to Italy soon. We are a group of 5 and each one has added their pass to their device without finishing the activation in the app (just the first step with the code). When booking the reservations for 2 trains online (via the site) I added the group members to my trip and got the rwservations for all of us (I now have the seat reservations ready in PDF) Now however I don't understand how we can get the codes for the other tickets that do not need reservations. Do we all just add the trips to the separate devices and from there get the tickets on each device or do I have to add them all to my app?I added all journeys to my trip both those with and without reservations, but do we all have to do it separately? Does the fact that I linked them with me in the site mean that I also must add them in the app? Or can they add the trips on their apps and then get the tickets for the other trains.I just got very confused with t

Hello, I purchased a $400 USD Eurail pass and was confused about directions and entered the wrong start date thinking it was active for 11 months. I thought the ‘start date’ would be whenever you used it first. In any case, I’m about to leave overseas and just found out that my month pass ends in three days, whoops!I emailed and messaged Eurail on May 1st but still haven’t heard back. My flight is in less than 24 hours and I’m getting nervous! Anyone been in this situation? When can I expect to hear from them? I’m flying into Madrid, Spain. Is there a booth at the airport or something? Is there a phone number I can call? I’m freaking out. Thanks.

Hello, i want to take the bus from oslo to kristinehmn at 15:42 and the train from kristinehmn to Stockholm at 19:45. There is only a short transfer time about 10 min. Will the train wait if the bus has a delay or do I have to be afraid to miss the train in Kristinehmn so that I have to stay there over night?

I want to use Rail Planner with Interrail paper pass. But the controller asked for a QR code in app, code that I've never seen and there no instruction where to find it.

Hi guys! I’m a German citizen, but have lived in the UK for four years as a university student. Can I get a global pass with the UK as my home country? I don’t have a British ID card or license, but I have pre-settled status in the UK, and am registered at the university in London. Hi, So last week I booked for my family 4 tickets from Paris-Remiremont one way.This week I discovered there is such a thing as Eurrail! ( I know very stupid).I guess there is no chance I can get refund or transfer those tickets into a Eurrail Pass? I cant find this info anywhere .. Just checking that I don’t need to activate my paper pass.I’m in the UK ,ordered the pass online which has come with the dates I plan to use it (19/09/22-18/10/22) so despite what I have read about going to a major station I’m thinking this is already ok??

Hallo zusammen, ich habe eine Frage zur Benutzung des Flex Global Pass von Interrail. Ich fahre bald mit dem Auto nach Frankreich und wollte dann mit dem Zug von Paris aus nach Deutschland fahren, in einer Stadt dann ein paar Tage bleiben und dann innerhalb Deutschlands wieder zur Heimatstadt zurückkehren. Nun habe ich diese Fahrten schon in der App eingetragen und habe dadurch meine zwei Heimatfahrten verbraucht laut der App. Ich wundere mich jetzt aber, dass es akzeptiert wird, dass ich an einem Tag nur innerhalb meines Heimatlandes fahre und dies akzeptiert wird, obwohl ich nicht aus dem Ausland Einreise. Funktioniert dies genauso? Ich bin mir unsicher, ob ich dann einfach einen Tag komplett in Deutschland damit fahren darf, obwohl die App nichts daran auszusetzen hat. Vielen Dank für eure Antworten! 

I don't know how inbound and outbound work in combination with travel days.. I have an interrail paper pass and I will write down all my travels in there.My journey will be starting in Germany (home country). On one day I will go from my home town to Munich and the next day from Munich to Rome (1 change in Italy). If I drive with another ticket to Munich... Is Munich->Rome my outbound-journey? Or is this the first travel day?Going home I will start in Neapel, change in Venice to a Night Train and then again to Munich and from there to my hometown. Is the complete journey my Inbound?

Hello,I will be travelling from the UK into mainland Europe over the next couple of month. I have a combination of flights and trains organise and I was wondering if it is possible to use 2 outbound  trips, rather than 1 inbound and 1 outbound …thank you for your help!

If we want to take some extra time at some station (let's say take a break in Liege spontaniously), do we have to change our travel schedule in the app?We have a Global Pass.Thanks for your help!

Hi everyone! I wanted to ask you for advice…I have a global pass with 15 travel days within 2 months and I wanted to know if it’s necessary to use the inbound journey? Or can I use it as a normal travel day? For example from Stockholm to Oslo as my last travel day and then I want to fly back to my country. Thanks in advance for your answers! Liza
