I have a day to fill between Colmar and Munich and would like to maybe visit Switzerland staying 1 night  can anyone suggest a route please?

I have a 4 days Global pass and I live in Italy. I want to Travel from Italy to Austria and when I am in Austria I want to Travel a few Days Only in Austria and then go back to Italy. Is this possible?

I have planned a trip using the website. I have received the reservations to my mail and that’s fine, but how do I see the planing in my app now? do I have to do the plan again in the app? why it dose not shows automatically in the app once I entered my pass?

Hi, I am having no luck booming seat reservations for the Switzerland one country pass. Been on all the websites Interail has recommended and all say the reservation is unavailable or no required.  Any help would be grateful. 

In the app, when generating a new travel day, it asks you to select the day and time of the train that you are going to take, but if I don't know what time I am going to return on a round trip, what is the trip On the way back, what do I have to put in the day of the trip? What do I have to do in the app to be able to access the next train that was not included in my travel day?Thanks

Hello, I made a reservation on the eurail site (web). The trip is from Verona to Zurich. The Journey is from:(1) Verona to Milan (Requires Reservation)(2) Milan to Lugano (Youre ready to board)(3) Lugano to Zurich (Youre ready to board) The reservation required is only the first part so I booked it and got my ticket.Part 2 and 3 of the journey, says on the journey, 'You're ready to board'. So I assumed that it doesn't require reservation.My problem is, I can't find the same scheduled journey on my Rail Planner app.On the eurail reservation the entire journey is from 10:02 AM (Verona) arrive at 14:55 (Zurich). I'm having headache now, I dunno how to activate the same journey in my app and add it to may pass if I can find that exact scheduled trip. Hope you can help, it’s my first time 😭  

Today my trip was suddenly no longer connected too my trip with name XEurope-CK. I went to my pass to connect it again to this trip but apparently I did something wrong as it connected to the standard ‘Mytrip’. Does anyone know how I can disconnect from this wrong ‘Mytrip’ so I can reconnect again to the proper XEurope-CK?As I am already traveling for 2 months I do not want to start a new trip.Thanks for helping out.Kind regards,Karel

Hello, i am currently interrailing with my girlfriend and so far weve been to krakow and budapest and currently staying in belgrade. We are planning to take the train to bar from here but i am a bit lost on where to go from there... I cant really find any information on how to go anywhere from there so im scared we would get stuck. Does anyone know whats possible? Thanks for the help!Greetings, Jordi

My friend and I are travelling together for a month in Europe. However, she lives in Australia and I live in the UK so we both need different passes. Will this effect the way we travel, as in will we still be able to sit by each other on the trains and so on, or will it be ok to have two different passes? 

Everytime I try to finalise my reservations  París - London Eurostar on 29th July, departure 20.13, I am told something has gone wrong, refresh the page. I have refreshed several times with the same result

Bonjour, j'ai un global pass, j'ai l'application eurail et j'ai créé les journée de voyages. Je n'ai pas encore activé le pass mais j'ai réservé des billets, obb nightjet pour faire Paris vienne et ils sont sous format papier, les billets papier doivent être mis dans l'application ou non ?Et peut on activer nos 4 pass sur nos deux portables ?  (2 adultes et 2 enfants)Merci d'avance pour votre aide.Cordialement,Laure

Hello, I want to travel at the end of this summer and this will be my first trip. I don’t want to wait until that time and i want to get my ticket months before. So, can i do that? (The officer in the train station said that they only give tickets for two weeks later, not earlier..) 

Hi everyone, I am under the understanding you can use two travel days in your home country. I can’t see any restrictions for this, nor have I experienced any. But people in another discussion claim there are such conditions, e.g. you should go straight to a border town / must be a continuous journey etc. Are there really such restrictions and if so, where are they stated? Personally, I have used a remaining home country day to travel to another town and back and had no problem doing that, but people claim you aren’t allowed to do that…

Hi everybody !I've read a lot of topics on the subject, but I haven't found a precise answer to my question. I’m French, and before leaving for the rest of continental Europe, I want to take a trip to the UK. The first trip from Paris to London will logically count as an outbound. I've understood that.But then, do I have permission to do London - Brussels afterwards to continue my journey? Won't this London - Brussels (via France) automatically end the validity of my pass, as I'll have returned to France a second time?To sum up, are these outbound/inbound journeys really outbound and inbound or simply days of travel in our country of residence that can be used in any way, even just by crossing it without stopping? (In the end, I plan to return to France on my own)Thank you all in advance for your answers!Arnaud

HiI bought tickets Zurich to Milano Centrale 7 June 8:33am for 5 ppl with eurail pass on ÖBB site, on Eurocity 311. We intend to split up with 3 people heading to Venice first (after lunch) and the other 2 later on the same day. But now the 3 people want to go direct to Venice without stopping for lunch in Milan. If I book them on the same Eurocity 311 which departs Milano 12.05pm, will they need to get off the train, exit with other arrivals and re-enter through departure gate or can they just stay on the train? I don’t see any option to cancel/exchange the original tickets for 5 people. (I bought on website before I downloaded the app, now can’t see them on app)

Hi,I want to travel from Sofia to Bucharest in 3 weeks with my daughter and then, and the same day by the night train to go to Budapest -i checked the train timetable-, but i read that we can’t book Sofia-Bucharest before and it’s possible only from Sofia’s station, so i’m a bit stressed if we find easily tickets from Sofia to Bucharest without booking because we are going to travel on saturday….so i would have some advices… we start from Greece. How can I make seat reservations from France to Spain? I called the number they list and they say you have to do it at the train station, but online the route says reservations required and you must book more than 24 hours in advance. How can this be booked to ensure I get seats and does anyone have advice for trying to get trains in July? 

I’m looking for a night train sleeper for 3 from Vienna to Bucharest. Which train should I use? Do I need a global pass for this type of trip?

In the Eurail site it shows seats can be reserved but when I go through the process it gives and error. It seems to switch me from electronic tickets to paper tickets and I live in the USA and cannot receive paper tickets in time. This is a non-stop train on TrenItalia but when I go to the TrenItalia site it doesn’t offer Zurich as a departure station so couldn’t resolve the issue there either. All advice gratefully received.

Hi - we are a family of 4 backpacking from London to Istanbul in August 2023.We want to book a 6 berth couchette exclusively for us from Budapest to Sighisoara in Romania. The Inter-rail booking system will only let us book 4 tickets in a 6 berth (there are no 4 berth couchettes showing as available otherwise I would book that). The Romanian train website shows availability for a 6 berth but says you can only book a max of 5 tickets. We don’t mind paying for the additional 2 places to guarantee having it to ourselves. I can’t see how to use our inter-rail pass if I book direct either.Can anyone help us navigate this? How can we use our interrail pass to book a couchette exclusively for this journey?Thank you!

When travelling to a different time zone and having to add the journey manually, what arrival time are you supposed to enter? The local time in the country you’re arriving in or the time it is the departing country?
