Hi, I plan to travel from Thessaloniki to Budapest with kid. As i can’t find out which is the best and most secure route to travel from Greece to Hungary.. It would be great to travel by a night train!….i would like to read your advices or propositions. thanks 

We are flying into Lamezia (SUF) in September and are going on to Messina by train. We do have a Rail Pass.  I know we have to to take a bus from the airport to Lamezia Centrale and then board the train to Messina. I am confused about what happens when we get Villa San Giovanni. Does the train then go on the ferry and we end up in Messina Centrale or does the train journey end in Villa San Giovanni and we have to make our way to the ferry port and pay to board the ferry and get off in Messina Maritima? Can someone please clear up my confusion over this matter. 

Hello,Need an advice - I want to travel from London to Nice and then from Nice to Paris, which pass should I buy? Do I need reservation on top of the pass? Any additional information will be helpful.

Here is my question:Family of 5 with 2 seniors and three young adults 16, 23, 25. June 4, 2023: desire to travel via train from Geneva, Switzerland to Stresa, Italy From what I can tell, the cost for a second class ticket is 442.00 USD for all on the direct train, 2nd class fully flexible. We can leave around 12:00 at the earliest but prefer to get into Stresa Italy the mid-late afternoon to get to the hotel, so avoiding the reservation cost is possible if not excessive time is added. June 6: Stresa, Italy to Verona, Italy somewhere between 107.00 to 158 USD total for Ordinare June 8: Verona, Italy to Trieste, Italy 131.45 USD Ordinare June 10: Possible travel to Slovenia but can take the flix bus for reasonable and shorter. Do you have a recommendation on what type of pass I should use (Eurail Single country Italy, Eurail Global, or individual tickets). If the website such as ‘the train line’ say that there are two seats left, does that mean we will not be able to take that train with

Hi there, do I need paper copy tickets for my reservations for each train I take using my Eurail Pass. Also, if we need hard copies, how long would they take to ship to Australia? Alternatively I can have them shipped to a friend in Holland, how long would this take?

As the german trains will nationwide be cancelled from 14th to 16th May, DB has asked Travellers to -if possible- do Their travels from 11th to 14th May before the strike hits and has therefore Made it possible to take any similar train on These days if one has booked a Ticket that is affected from the strike. Is the Interrail Ticket also valid on the days beforehand for The same route i booked for May 15th? Hi,I really would like to travel from Amsterdam to Nice to see my family but don’t want to take the plane, so the Interrail-card would be perfect for me. I only have some questions regarding the conditions of what the best thing is that I can do. My trip will be on the 11th of June and would consider:Thalys from Amsterdam to Paris, then from Paris Nord to Paris Gare de Lyon RER D and then TGV from Paris Gare de Lyon to Nice Ville.  When I’m buying the Interrail France Pass for 3 days, I can travel through France for 3 days. I know I have to reserve the TGV (and the Thalys) and pay extra for this but my question is the following:Can I use the card already in Amsterdam since I’m travelling with the Thalys or does the card only hold in France and not if I’m travelling from another country to France with a France train?And another question you might help me with is: Is this the smartest option to take? I just want to visit family in Nice and am living in Amsterdam. Hello, is there any chance that there are train connections available between Skopje (Macedonia) and Sofia (Bulgaria) or Istanbul (Turkey)?On the website, these connections are shown but not in the Rail Planner App.I want to go in August and don’t think that I’m too early because there are already train connections shown from Sofia to Istanbul. Hello everyone, I am currently looking to book different train rides for my trip, and was able to make reservations for many of them. However, certain rides were “Included” in the Eurail pass. I am wondering how I can retrieve a ticket for these “Included” rides as I do not want to end up without a train to go to my next destination. Moreover, I read on the website that the pass offered discounts on different ferries and activities. Since I do not want to miss out on these discounts, I was wondering how it would be possible to book ferries right now and benefit from the discount. Thank you for taking the time to answer me. Hugo Pepin

 have booked a train from Munich to Florence and paid to get reservations.  I got tickets for the reservations but nothing for the actual eurorail reservation.  Am I supposed to get a ticket for that or is the seat reservation that ticket?

HelloI want to take the 1 country interrail pass for Italy. I'm located in France. Does the pass include the train from France to Italy or I have to take a different ticket 

HiI am trying to book a night train on 15th July for 2 adults and 3 children. I can’t manage it for the five of us but can get a reservation for us if I split the group into 2,2, and 1. However I assume this means we are all in separate compartments - is there a way to tell? Or does anyone have a number for OBB that works from the UK. I want to ask when is the suggested time for us to arrive before the train departs?Also, do I need to conduct some administration procedures before boarding the train in the first traveling day of my pass? If yes, how long does it take?

Hi to all,We’re trying to make seat reservations for the 12:40 train from Glasgow Central to London Euston on july 20th (VT 6680). For some reason it is not possible to make seat reservations at all in that week. A week earlier (f.e. 13th of july) it is possible, A week later (f.e. 27th of july) it is also possible. Anybody know why it is not possible to make seat reservations in that week? Ofcourse we can travel via Edinburgh to London but that’s not the route we would like to travel.Any help is appriciated.  

I made reservations (for two people) a couple months ago. Now the train times have changed. There is no train at the original time.Amsterdam to Cologne: was ICE #127 dep 14:38, arr 17:16Now it’s ICE #157, dep 14:08, arr 17:21.Virtually the same train, but different train number, and I don’t know that the reservation will carry over automatically. I don’t want to get to the train and not have our reserved seats.I can’t figure out how to change the reservation online through Eurail.com.I have submitted a support request, and I hope to hear something from Eurail.What does anyone else know about this topic?

HelloCan I purchase 2 Interrail global passes if we will be travelling together or do I need to buy 2 separate passes (one Interrail and 1 Euro). If so, how will this affect our travel?Thank you

First time Eurail pass user, and I can’t seem to grasp why the reservations don’t all show up in the same place.  I have read 0n many forums that reservations won’t show up on the app, and I understand that and how you can add it to the planner.  What I don’t understand is with one particular leg of the trip. We have a trip taking the train from Paris to Venice in mid June of 2023, that we purchased through the Eurail app. We have a 7 day pass and this trip is the only one that is marked as a day used on the pass.  We have access to the tickets by clicking “Show My Ticket” and we have a scannable QR code and all of our information for the trip.  What is confusing is that this is the only part of our trip we haven’t seen a charge for on our credit card (we had to pay extra for the reservation).  Every other reservation we’ve had to make we were charged already (shows on our statement), we were sent an email, and we have printable tickets.  These trips include Amsterdam to Paris, Venice

For our trip back to the Netherlands we travel through Basel and Köln. We can add a direct train to our trip, so w’ere ready to travel, our Interrail-account tells me. But we would like to make a seat reservation - which is not absolutely necessary! - for the long journey in busy times. But we can't make that reservation, nor on the Interrail-site, nor on Bahn.de. We do have a littel hope, because de German site mentions a temporarily problem. But Interrail is clear: no seats available. Help! What could be the problem? And what happens if we travel without a seat reservation? Can we be expelled from a train that is overbooked? 

I am trying to book a ticket to go from Berlin Hbf to Berclav on June 24, 2023 at 18:52 with the global interrail pass. It lets me activate the ticket but not reserve a seat. It tells me that there are no seats available, but that with every day. I have searched several different websites that also offer this train but it still doesn't work. The train is the one in the title. If anyone can help me or tell me how I can do it or alternatives (which I have not found either) it would be a great favor. Thanks
