Hi all.I checked the information about German Rail Pass.It said I can use ANY DB train in the pass.Here is the question. I hope to go to Praha, Czech. And there is a DB train to go Praha.But the information about the other countries that pass can be used, there’s no Czech or Praha in that.There is only Austria, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland.In this case, Can I use the pass in Praha? or are those countries only I can go with the pass?And if it’s possible to use the pass in Praha, can I use it in Praha as departure also?If anyone knows about this problem, please let me know the answer.Thank you.

Hi I recently just booked a 4 bed couchette for the Berlin > Zurich night train. I booked for 3 people, which include myself (male) and my two friends (females). I just have a couple questions:  Will we be sharing the same couchette? It says we are in the same coach but have different accommodation numbers (please see attached photo for screenshot of ticket)   If ÖBB tries to segregate males and females, will we be separated? If not, what will happen with 4th spot in the couchette if there are both a male and females already in the couchette? Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

Using the rail planner app, I can load up all my choices of train times, But there is a message that says “No Seat Reservations Required”.  Since there is no button on the page for purchasing seats (1st class) it only lets me save it in “My Trips”.    I’m confused about how I make reservations, even when not required, and how do I get whatever tickets I need to board (besides my Eurail pass)?   I am very confused.  And old.   And maybe not bright.  

Hi there, I’ve tried navigating other peoples Q & A’s, but not sure about getting all the right answers, here goes”I have purchased 5 x Eurail global passes for my family members, who are travelling together initially, but later splitting up and travelling our own ways.Can i prebook trips and reserve seats collectively for all passes, before allocating passes to each persons device……   & can i do this on my computer, or does this process only work through the app….Or do I need to allocate passes to each device first & then do we all have to book trips & seat reservations seperately - hoping that we can still book at the same time & ensure we have seats together??I assume this process of booking trips and seat reservations, does not mean we have to ‘activate our passes yet?’ Assuming we only have to activate our pass on the day we actually travel (have booked to travel)cheers

Hello,I’m trying to book a traintrip this summer and want to go back and forth from Belgium to Bolzano . I see that the one country pass Germany also includes Brussels - Cologne and the trip to Bolzano. But can I use the One Country pass Germany as a a Belgian resident in Belgium? The rule states that you cannot use a One Country pass from your own country, but this is a One Country pass for Germany… Does anyone know this?Thank you,Tanja   

Hi! Just started organising our trip and were looking into night trains from Florence-Vienna. However, there appears to be no availability at all throughout July and August. Are these all booked out or do the trains simply not run at this time?Thanks for any help! 

Hi All , very exited to visit Europe with my family ( 2 adult , 1 youth (17 years) , 1 kid (11 years) My itinerary (and question related to it is as follows : Land to switzeland on 9th June...rest for the day Next day visit to Titlis and mountains  Roam around Zurich in boats/train etc Leave for Paris on Lyria train on 12th June...rest day Visit Effiel tower and other places on 13th  14th meet friends/ family 15th fly back.I am thinking to buy 4 days Eurail Global Pass ...but have following doubts-      Does this pass covers ALL my Local train travel within Zurich ? I meant Travel to Zurich station to Edinburgh. I also plan to visit lucerne and some other areas ?\--   Does this cover local boat travels in ALL Trains in ALL zone. ​​​​​​​--   Does this cover local travels in Paris in ALL Trains in ALL zone ? . ​​​​​​​--  If yes , do I need to buy ticket in advance with this pass OR I can just show that in trains/boats ?--  My understanding is that this card will give me 25% discount for

Hi!We are hoping to travel from Strasbourg to Florence in early July.We have seen the train from Strasbourg to Basel exists and doesn’t need booking. However, when looking on the Eurail app, the train from Basel to Milan was ~12 hours, whereas on Trainline, it was ~4. We are worried that the faster train doesn’t come under the interrail pass, please help if you know. From Milan to Florence, we could find a train with Trenitalia however, once again, there was nothing on the app. For Trenitalia, we can’t add our interrail pass, so we don’t know if we need to book or not. We would super grateful for any help!

I can’y make a seat reservation for a specific train destination via the interrail apprication. It’s impossible ro book a trip on Frech SNCF because you can not fill in tjay you have an interrail pass (only specific SNCP cards and passes are accepted). I asked SNCF and they answered go to the train station and book it there.This means that Interrail sells passes but you can’t book tickets on their application for some trains/destinations. It means also that SNCF is in the interrail program but you can not book online on their application. It means also that I will have to travel 80 km back and forth to order our tickets. Is there another possibility to book online tickets in France with interrail pass without having to travelby bus to the nearest (small) station only to be told, perhaps, that it is not possible in that station and that I must go to another (larger) station.Nice service that Interrail prigram! 

What if a train connection is not available on the interrail app? Can I add the train connection myself or do I have to pay for this train connection?

I found about interrail recently and I want to buy one ticket, my question is:  The one month pass it is calendaristic month or from the moment you start the first trip??Thank you!!

I have the 3 month global pass through eurail, I have the mobile app version and as of recently the pass has disappeared from my app. I have been traveling for a month now and have not had a single issue. I have tried uninstalling the app several times as well as restarting my phone and making sure that my phone and app are up to date, no resolution. When I try to re add my pass it says error. I have contacted support but I’ve only read online that they are notoriously bad with aid and take days or weeks to respond. I have a train set for tomorrow and have already bought my seat reservations but I can’t access my train tickets. The customer support is non existent and practically useless witch should not be an issue for a pass I paid $800 for. Please if anyones has a resolution or if there’s anyways to speed up the customer support service please write to the conversation. 

Hello everybody!Just joined the community and have a question about making reservations on the Caledonian Sleeper with the Global Eurail Pass. Went through the community posts on the topic and was able to select the “Room Supplement” option as advised by the community.However, the booking amount does not change much… The Club option amount comes down to GBP420 from 425 while the Classic option amount in fact goes up from GBP 290 to 300. What is even more strange is that the Seat option is “Sold Out” after selecting Room Supplement option. I have a Global Eurail Pass (2-month/First Class) for a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 6 & 8 years. Before selecting Room Supplement option: After selecting Room Supplement option: 

I am from Germany and I would like to travel by train from Bremen to Lyon and back from Lyon to Bremen to visit a friend. The date I plan to travel to Lyon is May 17th, and the day I want to return from Lyon to Bremen is May 21st or alternatively May 22nd. I have checked train connections on the website of Deutsche Bahn, but the fares are significantly more expensive than using the Interrail Global Pass. Therefore, I would like to use the Global Pass with the "4 days in a month" option during my travels. However, I am uncertain about which connections I am allowed to take. Can I take the TGW, the IC, and the ICE trains with the Interrail Global Pass? I will only be traveling on two days (instead of four days as paid for in the pass) with a few changeovers on both trips. With these information provided, is it possible for me to purchase the interrail global pass “4 days in a month” for around 230 Euros?I would be really thankful for help :) Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,I'm a first time interrailer and had my first trip (from germany to the uk and back) all planned out when I ran into problems for my trip back due to the announced strikes in great britain.My intended itinerary had me taking a train from Leeds to London on the morning of the 30.3. and then the Eurostar to Paris at 17:31. Since this late train would make getting all the way home quite tight and depending on a lot of connections, so I opted for staying the night in Paris and taking the TGV to Freiburg at 17:25 on the 31.3.I'm travelling with a global pass and have already reserved the Eurostar as well as the TGV.With the now announced strikes I'm unsure how to proceed, as at the moment it looks like there will be a high possibility of no train running on the 30st from Leeds to London (there is no strike timetable yet) so I have no possibility of getting to London in time to get the Eurostar.What possibilities do I have here?I'd rebook to an Eurostar on the 31st, but there

Hi there, we have most of our legs reserved for our Europe trip in May but I am unclear how to book reservations in the UK. When I searched for the trains in Reservations, it showed the train times and then said that I couldn’t book the reservation via Eurail. How do I book reservations on these trains and let them know I have a Eurail pass? Bit confused. Planning to go From London to Coventry and then back from Coventry to London before getting the Paris train (which we’ve booked already). We have a global pass.

Buenas noches, Me ha surgido un problema a la hora de la reserva de mis trenes. Hay algunos trayectos de trenes en los que hay que hacer trasbordo que me aparece como no disponible para poder comprarlo, como que no necesitan reservas. ¿Cuál es la posibilidad de que me quede sin asiento en ese tren?
