I’ve booked a six-berth couchette on a sleeper from Toulouse to Paris this summer. I’m wondering if there’s any way to upgrade it to a four-berth, because there are four of us travelling and it would be great to have privacy. It didn’t seem to be an option when I booked (maybe because my interrail pass is standard class). Anyone have any experience of changing a booking like that?

Hello,maybe someone can help.The Interrail website does not work. Trying for hours to book seat reservation from Paris to Florence mid Julye. Is there another possibility? SNCF does not work (can just book full fare). Any ideas? Booked reservation London - Paris a few days ago via interrail website, but unfortunately did not receive tickets yet. Confirmation Email said that tickets are attached, but they were not. Credit card was charged though. Cannot download them in the tool either. Download button is missing. A pity that a community needs to solve problems, because the support does not answer….  :-)

Hello! Ive just bought a 5 day first class interrail pass but I’m struggling to reserve 1st class seats on the Eurostar, it only seems to give me second class option? Can anyone help? Luisa 

HiI am about to buy my mobile pass using the 10% discount. Then I see that I have to buy an “insurance” to a cost of €23 to get full refund in the case I can not go. If I do not but this extra Plus for €23 what is the terms for refund then? 

If I was to purchase a 2 month global pass today 7th May 2022, can I activate it on 6th April 2023 and then start my travel anytime during the following 2 months. 

I tried to buy two tickets that are on sale but I could not check out. Is the sale already over?

Hello, I wanted to know how I can change my mobile passes from a 7-day pass to a 5-day pass for 2 people. I realized that I don’t need the extra 2 days, and I can save money on my pass by just changing my pass duration. Please let me know how to do this, as I will be traveling this month. I also want to know how the refund process will work, as I have not activated my pass yet either. 

URGENT! My paper pass was sent back to the Netherlands as they couldn’t find my delivery address in the UK. I am due to leave on May 23rd, is there any way I can get my paper pass in time? Thank you!

Hello!I recently booked the 1 month continuous travel plan and am looking to start travelling on the 20th June, however I cannot book train tickets through my interrail account as I have an apostrophe in my name which was accepted onto the pass but the website won’t accept ‘special characters’!Any help would be hugely appreciated as the phones are always too busy to be answered and emailing has not been successful as of yet.Thank you in advance!

Hey!Can I use the continuous Pass after 11 months?For example if I purchased a two month Pass (which is now on sale) and activated it in April 2023 and I would use it till June 2023. Is this allowed? Do I only have to activate the Pass in 11 months and then I can start to travel?I hope someone can help me with this :)

I am trying to reserve our seats between Berlin and Krakow, when I am not logged in, I can see the price for the reservation, but when I log in, I get the message “Prices unavailableNo price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.”Am I missing something?

Hi, I would like to buy the 7days in one month pass and actually I have the 4days pass (not used). Is it possible to change it? I want to travel from Hamburg (Germany) to Narvik (Norway), start at 23.59, arriving 36h later. How many days you use for this travel (2 or 3 days)?

Hello,I recently made a reservation to get from Napoli Centrale to Frienze S.M.N through Eurail’s website.  However I was given 1st class reservations? My recipt from Eurail states I am a second class pass holder. I was not able to choose first class via the website so I am confused as to why I was given 1st class seat reservations. I have emailed Eurail a week ago and have not had a response of what to do. Edit: *TrenItalia not Italiarail 

Hello. For my first day of the trip I have paid for a seat reservation on the route Prague- Warszawa, euronight EN443 Prague 22:05 Warszawa Gdańska 08:52. When I want to enter this connection in the route planner, it is not offered in the Interrail app. So I don't know how to proceed to make everything work properly. Thanks for the reply. Karel Patak

We are trying to get to Budapest from Athens, but because the railways modernization of Serbia and problems with the scheduel in Bucarest, we are trying to find a route that avoids those places. Is there any way this is possible? Thank you so much :)

I’m leaving to go travelling in just over two weeks and the Interrail website keeps malfunctioning when I try booking seat reservations! It won’t let me press the ‘review my order’ button, there is either an error warning sign that pops up or the webpage just stays stuck. I’ve tried booking on three different devices and none of them will work. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, if you have any advice or maybe the contact details for Interrail, because none of the numbers I’ve found online seem to work? 

@hhilppaa  to keep the “How to get reservations” post clean i will answer here.For which date are you looking?Did you follow the Nighttrain reservation manual?I just tried a booking for Friday the 15th July and iam able to reserve with the Interrail/Eurail discount how ever just one berth in a tripple sleeper compartment is left (the train is very popular especially during the Holidays in Slovakia& Austria)

I’m having issues pressing the “proceed to payment” button when booking my reservations. It seems greyed out, and unable to select. Can anyone help?

Hey everyone. I’m looking to make connections between Istanbul - Sofia/Plovdiv - Thessaloniki - Skopje - Belgrade. As showed in the picture, it should be possible to do so but when I look for trains in the Rail Planner, I can’t find any of thoses trains. I am looking for August, am I too early ? Or the trains connections have changed ? 

Hello guys, I bought a 2 month global pass and I was wondering if to get on the trains that do Montreux-Interlaken, so trains from the goldenpass you had to book a reservation, because interail's wesbsite says that it's not but it's "recommended". Why is it recommended?

Bonjour,  Nous avons pris un pass INTERRAIL ONE COUNTRY PASS 4 jours en un mois pour faire Alonissos et skopelos. Il est indiqué que nous devons réserver des sièges sur les différents site de ferry mais lorsque nous voulons faire une réservation, nous payons le prix plein alors que nous avons un pass et qu’il était mis que cela pouvait se faire gratuitement.Pouvez-vous m’indiquer comment faire une réservation de siège avec un pass ?  Merci d’avance pour votre aide ! 

I have trips connected to my pass and it is already activated  for July 3 ,2022. Since it is activated and I want to change a trip can I deactivate the pass to change a trip ? Thank You

Hey, :)I have a really big Problem.I bought a Flash sale Ticket (50 % off) a few days ago. The paymant went through, and i got i sign that i get an confirmation email. But i never get on. I only got an email, that my payment went through but no order was created because of a glitch and the refund my paymant. Until now the i didnt get the money back, because of that i could not buy another ticket at the Flash sale. It would be cool, if they fix their Problem so i can get my ticket.I wrote them an email too, but nobody Respond.Vanessa

Hello! My parents and I are taking a trip to Europe next week. We purchased a 1st class EURail pass and have been booking the train rides that require reservations. Toward the end of our trip, we are taking night trains. I saw there are multiple sleeping arrangements available for purchase on the night trains. Could someone explain the difference between the 1st class 3 person sleeper and the 2nd class 3 person sleeper? For another one of our train rides, there is not a 3 person sleeper available and there is only a 4-person berth available for the night train. If we purchase the 4-person berth, will they fill the 4th spot or is there a way we could get the 4 person berth for only three of us? Also, will my dad be separated from my mom and I on gender-specific berths? Thanks so much!

I’m trying to book a TGV from Zurich on the 18th of July, but am coming across this error It only seems to be for this train, all the earlier ones work ok and offer a reservation fee to be selected. This service actually goes all the way to Paris which is where I’m trying to get to, but it doesn’t show that route even as a ‘sold out’ option - just sends me via Strasbourg (the first leg shown in the screenshot above).What does “Seat reservation information isn't available right now” mean, and if it doesn’t mean ‘sold out’, how can I book a reservation for it?Thanks for the help! :-)
