Hello, as part of my interrail pass, I would like to book the night train: NJ 469 (Paris-Est to Wien Meilding) on July 19, 2022 at 7:57 p.m. However, when I go to the reservation site by logging in with my pass, I am only offered two options: a seat at 21.9€ (I don't want to) or a single person cabin at 151€ ( far too expensive). However, when I do a search without logging in, the option "Bed in a 6-berth compartment" I want to take at 44€. This option is not present when I connect with my pass, why? In addition, the prices are more expensive when I connect with my pass. Why ? Thank you for your reply.

I am a non-European with a non-European passport, but I have a student visa for a country in the EU and is currently studying here so I am confused about the ‘country of residence’ bit. I would prefer to get the Eurail pass rather than the Interrail pass, but am I allowed to do so?

Hi, I’m looking to travel in summer, and I’m trying to select my start date to activate my mobile pass. It will only let me pick the day after, not any dates before it. Has this happened to anyone, what should I do? Customer service haven’t responded 

Activated both my & wife’s pass on same phone, find it easier to have her’s on her phone. app refuses to deactivate to accommodate that. 

I bought a Eurail Global Pass and I want to ride [7/10 07:42 Koeln hbf →9:35 Brunelleschi-mid]train. It is displayed as conditions apply. I do not know what’s means.This is my first trip with a Eurail pass. Can anyone tell me? Thank you

Hello! I have a few questions regarding the eurail Greek Islands pass. I am looking to buy it for this summer (end of August) to travel between the Greek islands. My questions are: 1. If I purchase the 4 day pass today, is there any way to be sure that seats will still be available on the ferries that I would like? Or do I just have to wait for an email back confirming? 2. When I reserve my ferries, will i get ticketsmailed/mailed to me with my reservations or how do I get my tickets to board the ferries when i arrive in Greece?3. Am i able to activate my pass online, or do I need to wait until I arrive in Greece to activate it?4. Am i able to reserve seats before I receive my paper copy of my pass? 5. Will there be any additional costs when reserving seats? Thank you very very much for your time!! 

why is it cheaper to book a thalys place for kids through the thalys system then via eurail reservations?

Hi there, If I buy an Interrail-pass with 15 days of travel, will I be able to use this all over Europe? Also on ferries? We are planning a trip from Prague and down Italy, and then travelling by ferry from Bari to Igoumenitsa. We would also like to take a ferry from Athens to Chania. I’m not able to see in the railway-map if it is possible to travel this ferry distance with the pass, and if there will be any additional costs when booking a ferry-trip. How does this work? And do anyone have any experience with travelling from Athen to Chania or Heraklion?Thanks for any help!

My pass shows up on app and is activated. 2 other travelers in our group shows name and pass number.  When we put their pass info in it says something went wrong try soon or contact us.  Emailed multiple times,  still cannot add passes?  Not sure if I'm missing something or what? 

Hello Eurail Community,I am trying to plan a trip from Tasch (train station) to Zermatt HBF (train station)— these two train stations are like 12 minutes apart. However, if I use the Eurail trip planner, the station Tasch does not come up and so I cannot find and save this trip. Although if I use google map, google map shows that there are RE trains passing thru Tasch going to final destination Zermatt HBF. On another question also, since the said station Tasch does not appear in eurail trip planner, I am not able to find a trip from Strasbourg, France train station to statuon Tasch in Switzerland. Tasch is nearest next station from Zermatt HBF and since our hotel is in Tasch, does this mean I have to go Zermatt HBF first  and then separately buy a diffrent train ticket to go to our hotel near the station Tasch? Pleadr help.Thanks  

Het lukte niet om in Parijs de juiste trein te boeken naar Spanje. Daarom ‘s avonds de nachttrein genomen. Nu heeft die trein bij mij twee dagen in rekening gebracht ipv één. Bij mijn reisgezel is het wel goed gegaan en is er één dag in rekening gebracht. Ik gebruik Apple, hij Samsung. Wat de reden ook is, ik krijg die dag er niet uit en Interraill is op geen enkele manier te bereiken. Ik probeer al vanaf 24 april een oplossing te vinden. Wat moet ik doen?

This is the statement on the EuRail site regarding pass exchanges: Refund and exchange requests for Rail Passes without a predefined start date (open date Passes), can be granted if such Passes are returned to us unused, not activated, and no later than six months from the last possible activation date of the Pass. I have sent a question to EuRail, but it’s been 2 weeks without an answer yet. I know they are busy.  Does six months from the last possible activation date mean  Six months AFTER the last possible activation date    OR Six months BEFORE the last possible activation dateDoes anyone know for sure?  If six months before I need to make my exchange by Saturday. If six months after I have until October.  ‘Thanks so much for any assistance you can provide.

Hello!I am a german citizen currently living in Spain for an Erasmus-Semester. I want to travel to Germany and Austria for some visits but I am not sure about the Outbound/Inbound Journey Rules. Can somebody help me? What is my Homecountry? Germany (as I am noted there as citizen) or Spain (as I am actually living there at the moment and that would also be from where the Journey starts and ends) This would be my Travel Plan: Cordoba-Lübeck. This is a 2 day trip. On the first day it would be from Cordoba (Spain) to Biel (Switzerland) via France. The second day of the journey is from Biel (Switzerland) to Lübeck (Germany). From Lübeck (Germany) I want to go to Würzburg (Germany). Is this homecountry travelling or not? From Würzburg (Germany) to Vienna (Austria). From Vienna (Austria) back to Cordoba. Also a 2 day trip. I will be traveling to Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. I am trying to book a Eurostar seat Paris to London for beginning of June but 1.) There is almost no availability for reservations and 2.) I need a paper pass cover number to make a seat reservation. I have a mobile eurail pass, how can I get this pass cover number and make my reservation?

I’m looking for trains Paris Lyon - Milano Porta Garibaldi and Paris Gare du Nord - Brussels Midi. Price of ticket for first route in august is 29€ on SNCF page, while seat reservation for my interrail pass costs 31€. Same situation for second route. On Thalys page ticket for this train costs 29€, while seat reservation in app costs 25€. Is there any way to bypass such big fees?

Hello Everyone! Can someone please help me with the age old question of seat reservations from London->Paris and the return trip?  Family of 4 traveling the end of May.   I am afraid I bought the rail pass and won’t be able to use it due to no seat reservations.  Did I waste my money?    Signed...feeling helpless to understand the system!

Has anyone traveled between Poland and Estonia?  There seems to be conflicting information about trains. We have global eurail passes and want to go to Estonia next week. 

Hello everybody! I’m new to Interrail and wanted to ask some questions about how to plan a trip between Stockholm-Paris! Me and my girlfriend are planning to travel with trains for the first time and as far as I understood we both need to buy passes and then place a reservation on train journeys? Or can we just buy our passes and not worry about reservation at all? What’s the best way to plan the journey? We both are new to this and would definetly appreciate some tips on how to plan this trip the best way! Thank you in advance! :D
