HelloI booked a reservation a few months back via DB for the EC56 from Krakow Gl to  Berlin HBF. But now when I check the Eurail app/ site, that train isn’t listed. I have the Eurail 1st class global pass.How can I check that my pass is valid on that direct train?CheersJon

Hey - finalising our route for September 2025 and I’d like some advice please! We are getting the train from Glasgow with a 4yr old - she’s a great traveller. We plan spending around 10 days in Northern Italy and Southern Germany, but have around 20 days in total for the trip. We want to take a different route there and back, with short stops on the way to break up the journey, recognising that we won’t really be experiencing these cities fully. This is what I’ve planned so far:Day 1: Glasgow > Paris Day 2: ParisDay 3: Paris > LyonDay 4: LyonDay5: Lyon > Northern Italy TBCDay 6 - 10: Northern Italy TBCDay 11: Verona (via Lunch in Innsbruck) > MunichDay 12 - 16: MunichDay 17: Munich > Cologne Day 18: CologneDay 19: Cologne > BrusselsDay 20: Brussels > Glasgow So my questions are:Do you have any thoughts on the trip route and the short stops in these cities, would there be any alternatives?  Northern Italy - what do you suggest? Hi!!!  I’m traveling from Lithuania to Latvia and am wondering whether it is possible by train. After some research I found out that there are no trains between the countries and that none of them will take me over the border. If this is the case I wonder if I should use a bus. If I do, is it possible to use the Interrail pass in them when I’m buying the ticket? I have a Global pass that will be activated until August 2023.  Thank you in advanceMirna Joronen

I’m currently facing a problem. I used a travel day for an overnight journey from Prague to Budapest, departing Prague at 22:01 and arriving in Budapest at 8:29 AM, with no stops or train changes after midnight — it was a direct train.Before boarding, I activated my travel day, but I don’t understand how the app allows you to activate a travel day without adding the journey first. If adding the journey is necessary and mandatory, why does the app allow this?Now I have an issue because I used a travel day, but there’s no QR code showing up anywhere.Additionally, the Czech railway company controllers told me that my Pass code was invalid and they couldn’t find it. I showed them the official Eurail confirmation email, the order number, the payment receipt — everything — but it was not accepted. I even showed them the email with the Pass code, but it didn’t help.It’s very frustrating to encounter these issues during such a long trip.Has anyone experienced something similar?

I would like to travel only in France. So I would like to buy a three days pass for France. There is a border in Geneva where we can only take trains to go to France.  As we have to cross a border, I wonder if this part of the station is considered as Switzerland or already France? Thank you

I booked a Nightjet train for me and my wife scheduled for May 25 which departs Firenze S.M.N. at 21:48 and arrives at Leoben H.B.F. at 6:25 via Nightjet 40294 on May 26 and then we transfer to Salzburg and arrive at 9:44 via Eurocity 218. I got a notification saying that the journey has changed with a change to the timetable and that my ticket will remain valid. However, it gives alternative trains and the option to pay for them again. Do I need to do this? I cannot tell what actually changed with my booking. There is still an alternative option taking Frecciarossa 9592 to Milano Centrale and then getting on the same Nightjet train to Leoben and then going to Salzburg, but it looks like it is asking for me to pay for this. I’m just not sure what to do and on top of that, my phone carrier is currently not letting me make international calls to OBB which is who I booked through. I’m working on getting that fixed as well.  Any help would be appreciated to at least relieve some anxiety. T

Hi, I’ve been on the https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/ for about an hour trying to plan a trip from Wales to Stuttgart. The journey requires 3-4 high speed trains. The trouble is - everytime I check seat reservation on this route, it says “sold out”. This is recurrent on every train I’ve searched across multiple dates. The route uses UK train (Avanti), eurostar, TGV and DB (or can avoid TGV if you go via Brussels. It’s just so odd that every single train across every single time period is sold out. I’m searching at the beginning of the summer holidays (late july, early August), but I can’t believe this is the case 3 months before departure. Is there something I’m missing? I haven’t used interrail for 5+ years, has it got really popular in the meantime?!

I would like to travel 11. august 2025 from Vienna to La Specia. Right now, I cannot see possibility to book a ticket in the train. I would like to be sure that this train will be really operated on this date. I can see only trains to Milan or to Roma. Could you please make me sure that this train is planned for the summer and from whitch date it will be possible to book a ticket for my travel.The connection is possible to book now, till 29.may.2025 later, it is written, that cannot be booked. Hello, I have a reservation for the train from Bologna to Messina. However, I would now prefer to depart from Milan instead of Bologna. It will remain the same train (Milan 8:10 PM -> Bologna 11:05 PM -> Messina 12:45 AM). Is it possible to change my reservation for free without canceling the original reservation? Thank you. 

Im trying to to book a train from Barcelona to Spain (Valencia) the first part of the train has available seat reservations but the second part of the trip does not. It says No price results were found.When I Click for more info it also says the service doesn't run everyday which includes my travel day 28th.Am I trying to book too far in advance? The Trip is for 28th June.  This is the trip Im looking at

Hi,I would like to check one thing regarding the 4-day Greek Islands Pass.I was checking a ferry from Piraeus-Koufonissi, and the only seat available are the “Airplane Type seats” and there is the option for discount “Greek Island pass 4 days -100% (Highspeed)”. My question is: Can I use the 4-day Greek Island pass to book this ticket? My major doubt is because it is an airplane type seat, not economy, and says the “(highspeed)” which I don’t know if it has some special meaning. Thanks if someone can give some input on this. Screenshot from Hellenic Seaways website. 

Hello everyone :) I wanted some information about trains route in Greece, with the Interail Global Pass. My itinerary is Florina - Thessaloniki and Thessaloniki - Istanbul Do you know if they are train that work with my pass for those routes ? 

Hello,Thank-you in advance for taking the trouble to read this. We will be taking a trip within Europe and I understand about being allowed two days in the home country, one to leave and one to return.  There is no problem for the day when we leave as we will be exiting France on day 1.  However on our return the plan is to stop overnight in Zurich, then travel to Paris where we would like to overnight again before leaving from Paris to our French home town.  Part of the Zurich to Paris leg will of course be in France.  Does this mean that the penultimate day and the leg from Paris to home will count as two travel days on the Pass?  Or as it is solely in the direction of our return would it be allowed as just one day (I am hoping so!).  Otherwise we will have to do the whole bit from Zurich to Paris in a single day. Thank you for any help that you can give me 😀

How I hate Interrail and I haven’t even started yet, so confused and think it would have been better and maybe cheaper to have bought tickets directly. Anyhow I want to go from Paris to Barcelona by TGV but it looks like I can make a seat reservation (expensive!) but can’t even choose my seat, really would like a window seat. can I get a seat reservation directly from SNCF or do they only sell tickets? Is there a cheaper train to Barcelona or one that doesn’t ned a seat reservation or one where I can choose my seat?many thanks

I have booked a 8 day pass and I have booked some reservations for a seat on some trains however I noticed that I need to also use Regional trains to get to where I need to go. Am I able to get on the regional trains without a ticket if I have bought a eurail pass?

Hi all, how do i add a journey to my trip if the journey does not show on the planner?Example: I’m travelling from Brussels to Berlin via Cologne. Int.bahn.de shows this service at 06.25, 08.25, 10.25, 11.25, 12.25, 13.25 and so on. Trip planner shows the service only starting from 11.25 and then less frequently than is actually timetabled.I have the same thing with other journeys where i can see a single direct service exists, it accepts interrail reservations but it is not shown as an option on the planner - which advises tortuous 5+ change routes adding hours and 100s of unnecessary miles to the trip. What am i missing?

On my first day of travel I need to go from Innsbruck to St Moritiz. The planner is saying I need to take three trains. My question is do I book the three trains individually and get 3 tickets or do I book it as one trip Innsbruck to St Moritz and get one ticket? Thank you

We are trying to book a train from Ljubljana to Como. We have booked a train from Ljubljana to Villach HBF on the 16th of July, separate to the interail pass, as we didn't want to waste a travel day. We are going to spend the evening out in Austria and get a night jet in the early morning. On the the 17th, we have booked a night jet from villach HBF to Brescia (1:34 - 6:32), using the interail card discount, and then we are going to reserve a train from Brescia to Como (via Milan). Here is our planned route on the OBB website. The only thing is that we cannot find the train from villach to Brescia (or villach to como) on the interail app to add to our pass, so we have the QR code to accompany our seat reservations on the trains (which we need right?).Why can’t we find it on the app? Do I need to refund our reservation from villach to Brescia?  

My family and I agave the Eurail Pass and have been using it for 3 weeks.  Our next stop is Paris. We are staying in Montrouge for 4 nights and then flying out of Charles de Gaulle Airport.  How do I find the closest train station in the Eurail network to where I’m staying in Montrouge.  Is there a function on the Eurail App that allows you to see all the stations that are in network? I’ve messed around with the app a fair bit but still haven’t found a way to do this.  I’d be grateful for any help you can provide.

I will arrive from Bari to Patras and want to catch trains from Patras in this orderPatras to Diakopto on day OneDiakopto to Kalavryta return on day twoOn day three Diakopto to Athens Halkali, arrival 9:20 urban transport to Sog and on same day Athens to Thessaloniki. The trains are all showing on Trainose and on European printed timetable. I don't anticipate any problems until day three when I want to travel to Thessaloniki on IC 52 leaving at 10:58 if possible. So, at last here is my question…..Can the Patras ticket office make this reservation, and is it reasonably likely that the train will still have room on May 13th? If not, are any of the later trains likely to have room? Crystal ball event, I know.Thank you 

Hi everyone, I haven’t bought my Eurail pass yet, but my family (6 adults and a 1 year old) are travelling for 14 days in Europe from 8/27 - 9/10. We will be going from Zurich to Interlaken, Interlaken to Geneva, Geneva to Brussels, then finally Brussels to Amsterdam. We assume the Eurail pass will save us money, but need to confirm that we can get from Geneva to Brussels. When I do the “Plan My Trip” feature through Eurail.com, it shows all trains into and out of Paris are sold out, regardless of the dates I use. Even if I try for mid summer. I’ve seen people mention b-europe.com and just want to make sure that is a legitimate website, because if so, our dates are available for Geneva-Paris and Paris-Brussels on 9/1 (our planned day to travel. Any insight into your experience is greatly appreciated 😀

I am looking a my train options for my Europe trip, many of the trains say that the ticket reservation is optional. When I put them in my cart they have an extra charge. Is this just because I am choosing to book in advance or is this the standard price of the train that I would pay whether I book in advance or not? Also is this worth it to book in advance when it is optional?

Just trying to buy a couple of Global passes. Everything fails at the payment screen, I get -Anyone else had this issue? I’ve tried using Chrome, Chrome Incognito, Edge, Edge InPrivate, Windows, Android. Nothing. Same error. Any idea are very welcome, many thanks!Looking at the Inspect I see eurail.com trying to access checkoutshopper-live.adyen.com which is banned due to the website setup. Additionally it warns “Lit is in dev mode. Not recommended for production! ”.
