I seem to be getting conflicting views as to whether I can travel from Zagreb to Split using a Eurail Pass.

I am planning on travelling to Europe from the United States for my first trip in May, visiting England, France, Netherlands, Finland, and Sweden (and maybe more). I am probably going to purchase the Eurail Global Pass to travel from country to country. My first stop is in England; next will be France. I’m not clear as to whether the Eurail Global Pass includes the train from London to Paris. Can you tell me if it does? If not, what additional ticket do I need to purchase, and how do I purchase it (is there a website? do I purchase in advance or at the time of travel? anything else I need to know?) Hi,I am planning to go in roumania for the summer and I am checking if it is interesting to buy an interrail pass. But I cannot figure out if we can book beds in night trains, for exemple from cluj to Suceava, or Suceava o Bucharest. I did not buy my pass yet, and when I select the train, they only offer first class or second class seats, and not beds. Is it possible ?

Hola!Este verano quiero hacer mi primer interrail. Voy a comprar el pase de 7 días viajando y la duración será de 22 días. Lo empezaría en San Sebastián y i primera parada quiero que sea Berlin. Se que hay un buen tramo pero es lo que quiero hacer. Después me gustaría ir a Krakovia y de ahí a Budapest. ¿Qué me recomendáis después? me gustaria ver Europa central, esto es, quiero leer vuestras recomendaciones de sitios que os han gustado ya sea por la diversidad cultura, paisajes, comida, seguridad, amabilidad….  Quiero evitar Praga y Viena ya que los he visitado anteriormente. Por otro lado, si el viaje lo empiezo en San Sebastian el 1 de julio, llego a Paris el 1 de julio y salgo de Paris el 1 de julio pero llego a Berlin el 2 de julio me cuenta como dos días e viaje? Gracias!!!!

Due to illness I had to cancel my reservation (today) for the Superfastferry Bari - Patras.The only way to do so is via emal: Online bookings can only be cancelled by email to helpdesk@attica-group.com .I mailed them several times, without any reply. Does anyone have any experience on this topic? I might face a problem when I try to book a new trip.

Hello, I’m looking to book a reservation from Paris to Zurich but the SNCF site only seems to allow reservations nationally, within France. Any advice about booking reservations across borders would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Nick

I need to know of it is possible to travelThe routes and with planned travel days below:MUnich-zurich (1 day) Munich-Berlin- Paris-Munich(3days) Munich- vienna -Budapest-Munich (2days) Munich- insbruck- bologna- venice- rome -Munich (5 days)I would like to take break with multiple trips to- and -fro with munich as my base , or am i missing something regarding inbound and outbound conditions?  

If I purchase an Interrail 7 day pass does this include the Eurostar from London to Brussels and are seat reservations needed or are they included?

Hello,Does “Compartment for 2 passengers (Double)” on the NightJet 467 train from Zurich to Vienna have restroom and sink? It’s not clear if tickets are sold for the “Nightjet new generation” or “Nightjet”.Thank you!Kirill   

Will be traveling in Vienna and would like to go into Bratislava, Slovakia and Hungary (anywhere across the border), mainly jjust for the aspect of saying I’ve been there, rather than doing lots of touristy stuff. Just a quick trip in to each country and then back to Vienna in the same day (or even a few hours depending on how long this takes). Would it be best to use a full day of my Eurail pass just for this (otherwise I am using local Vienna pass only since I’m just in Vienna), or are there cheap routes from Vienna into these countries with a quick trip back? Any suggestions on routes or what is cheapest? Would prefer to save a day of the Eurail pass and just use local passes if possible. Thanks for any ideas. 

Hi Eurail community,Thanks again for all being so helpful !We are nearly ready to purchase a pass and want to make the right selection.We are thinking a 10 day pass and then individual passes for the remaining days.Our plan looks like this :Fly from australia and start Munich > Winterthurr > Wengen > St Gallen > Salzburg > Frankfurt > Dusseldorf > Zandvort > Colonge > Hausach > Munich fly back We worked out cause we are staying at some places longer that we would need a total of 10 trains trips between all destinations. We understand some of these may need reservations so hope to book these if needed AFTER getting the 10 day pass.Any suggestions or tips would be awesome.Thanks again eurail community for being so helpful ! Marty and Verity ( from brisbane , Australia )

Hi fellow-travelers, Me and my family have been enjoying interrailing for the last two years. We are making new plans for this year. Either just Italy again (this time try to reach the south with Bari or Brindisi) or Zagreb and northern Italy.  I started looking for the Nightjet to Innsbruck and found NJ421 that leaves from Amersfoort in the Netherlands, our country. But if I look correctly reservation of a 4 persons couchette om 19-7 will cost us € 224,60 (see screenshots) besides the Interrail ticket. Is that correct? We have done this the last two years, but this keeps on getting more and more expensive…If anyone has any tips, happy to hear them. Thanks!  Hanno

Hello, I already have my Eurail pass, but I have not reserved a seat, if I do not reserve a seat to travel from Rome to Florence or from Florence to Verona or from Verona to Milan, do they let me board the train or is it mandatory to reserve the seat so that I can board? The train is from the Frecciarossa company

I am travelling to Europe on 14 mayI am trying to book a ticket from Sunderland to London to start my trip.The journeys appear on the Rail Europe website, with no reservation fee, but I am unable to select a journey and book it. I want the 6:46 oneI read that even if no reservation is required, the journey still has to be booked.Can anyone help me with where I am going wrong, please? 

Question regarding an American student attending university in Austria -- Is there a Eurail pass a student can get that allows unlimited travel throughout Austria and/or the EU for the entire 12 month school year? Or any specific Austria passes that allow unlimited travel? I have read Germany has an affordable monthly pass for around 50 Euros and wondering if Austria has similar, or if there is a Eurail pass that fits the bill? Thanks!

Hola buenos días a todos… Quisiera tener claridad en el uso del Eurail Pass global,Ya tengo organizado mi viaje para el mes de Abril a Europa con las fechas ya determinadas, pero ingreso a la app Raíl Planner para reservar sillas  y me genera un QR.  Pero no encuentro el lugar para pagar las reservas.  Esa reserva de QR de la App Rail planner es válida y se paga la reserva el día del viaje ?Muchas gracias a todos…

I booked seats on a nightjet by the interrail app. But how can I make sure, that these are beds and not seats? Or how should I have booked it that it are beds and not seats?Thanks for your help.

Apparently, Eurail may not be offering high speed train service as part of their Global Pass. Is there an easy way to select overnight trains? Greetings!I am unable to find the euro rail schedule to plan a trip to Europe beginning in London.  Here is our itinerary:July 2 Fly to LondonJuly 2 take train to ParisJuly 7 take train to RomeJuly 10 take train to VeniceJuly 12 take train to BarcelonaJuly 2 take train to MadridFly home from MadridI’ve tried the planner which recommends 7 travel day Global Pass good for 1 month. However, it does not give train schedule to plan the 10 days I have for the tripThis is our first visit to France, Italy and Spain and have no idea what to plan. Hi I’m travelling with my partner and our 2 kids from stockholm to lulea and back by nigth train.Is it possible to reserve a full 6 compartment (meaning 2 beds “left free”) ? for how much is it possible if we have a 4 days pass ? I know it’s possible to reserve a full 2nd class 6 beds compartment on the SJ website for a price, but not sure with interrail.Thanks a lot for any answer !
