Eurostar - seat reservation far ahead - to wait or not to wait?

Question

Last year, I found that Eurostar reservations were no longer available for my desired dates.

Now I’m in a dilemma:

I don’t want that to happen again, so I’d like to book the reservations as soon as possible.

At the same time, though, I’d prefer to wait for any Interrail promo — but I’d like to secure my Eurostar reservations now for late April 2027 (yes, I know it’s far away...)

These reservations are already available on b-europe (but I don’t have an Interrail pass yet, so I can’t proceed).

My question is:

Is it certain that these reservations on b-europe are valid?

The train connection itself for end of April is already bookable on Eurostar.

Hmmm, depends when in April. Around Easter or the Easter holidays I’lld make the reservation a bit beforehand. But doing it now seems very early.

If it’s outside that period you can wait. But now it’s already rather early. If you wait until the end of the year, you might find yourself a sale. Usually there’s one or two from now until the end of the year (around Black Friday e.g.).

Still plenty of time to find reservation if you book the end of this year for April, even in the busier periods.

AFAIK you can buy your Eurostar reservations without a pass number either on allaboard.euor railfinder.eu :). The former even has a lower booking fee than b-europe.
