Train connections & reservations

Hey, I‘m struggling on booking seat reservations for the TGV in France. I‘m on the Website of french railway and clicked the Box „Seat reservation (I already have a pass)“ but when I continue I can only book complete tickets. Where can I book Seat reservations only? I want to go from Paris to Marseille and from Nice to Paris. Thanks in advance!

Hey Guys,I want to make a reservation from Paris to Montpellier Saint Roche (9th of August, direct connection). I tried with the reservation service of Interrail and I could find a lot of connections, but everytime, When I want to add it to my List it says “Sorry, this connections has changed recently. Please look for another” then I look for another and it sais exactly the same. What can I do? Does anyone else have the same problem?Thanks and Regards,Ami

Hey everyone,I am going from Zurich to Luxemburg and The suggested rail is the one on the image. I can not find informations about FerBus, where can I get my reservation from? 

We have a Question can we book in Italian  night jet with a seat place reservation without paying the full price for the booking? 

It is very unfortunate that TGV LYRIA is charging outrageously expensive prices for the journey from Bellegarde (FR) to Geneva (CH)Paris - Bellegarde = 10 euros (1st class and 2nd class)Paris - Geneva = 27 euros (2nd class) and 57 euros (!) euros (1st class)For a ride of +- 30 minutes such a big price difference ... between Bellegarde - Geneva.

I have logged into my account on eurail.com and want to make seat reservations except the self reservation tool doesn’t appear. Every time I load the page it shows up with the instructions to “use the timetable below” to make the reservation except that said timetable doesn’t appear. I have searched all over the website and can’t seem to find the tool. Am I doing something wrong? Will it only appear within three hours of a trip I’ve added to my pass? For reference I am using an iPhone and have tried both on safari and google chrome to no avail. 

Hi everybodyDoes anyone know if there are night trains in France and Italy?If so, do you perhaps know which routes these run on? For example from station... to station...And do you know if these countries have night trains that come in the country and leave the country?If yes, do you perhaps know from which countries these come in and or to which countries they drive out?

I’m trying to make a reservation for:BRUXELLES-MIDI (Belgium) to PARIS NORD (France) THA 9412 - THALYSthere is a reservation needed but the railplanner says ‘no price results were found for this connection. Please try searching again or find an alternative way to book.’ What can I do? I can’t find another way to book this with my Interrail pass.

Can I make a seat reservation online BEFORE I activate my pass on my mobile device?

Bonsoir! J’ai une question très urgente : mon copain et moi commencions à réserver nos billets pour notre tour d’Europe pensant les avoir pour notre départ samedi 17 juillet 2021. Cependant un problème se pose : en Pologne ainsi qu’en Hongrie, les é-tickets n’existent pas. Á cause des restrictions fréquentes dues au Covid, nous avons dû réserver à la dernière minute nos billets et nous n’avons plus le temps de les recevoir par la poste chez nous en version papier. Que faire dans ce cas là ? Pouvons nous les commander et aller les chercher sur place ? HELP 🥲😊

Hi, we want to take the night train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi for which a reservation is required. When I choose the connection on interrail.eu there’s only one possibility (“IRT 2 class” for 24€). I suppose that this is the price for a normal seat. However we prefer to have our own compartment. I had a look at the VR website. There you can choose such a cabin for 179€. Unfortunately we haven’t found a way that  “interrail” is taken into account. That’s why I have these questions:Is there a way to book a reservation for a cabin on interrail.eu? Is there a way to get the cabin cheaper with the “interrail-code” on the VR website? Or do we have to pay the full price without using our Interrail Pass? Greetings from GermanyHagen & Nadine 

Hello all, I have read a lot of information on using the mobile app and occasionally see a reference to certain trains required printed reservations and/or tickets so my question is: Will I ever need to print either a ticket or reservation? if I do have to print one, how will I be able to print?  Thanks again for the expertise of all who are far more knowledgeable than me. 😃Glenn

hello everyone, i just noticed that the train options on the interrail website are different from the train options on the interrail app. i’m a first time traveler and i’m very scared to be stuck in a place i don’t know because the train i thought i could take doesn’t exist. does anyone have tips? do i need to make sure that every train i take is on the website and in the app?

Hello,I would like to travel to Portugal with the Interrail Global Pass in the next few days. Now I have read that in Portugal you cannot reserve a seat online, but only directly at the train station. Hence my question: How early do I have to reserve the seats? Is it enough if I reserve the seats a few minutes before departure? Of course, I don't want to go to the train station hours earlier. I am aware that I risk that there are no more places available. I'm more concerned with the technical aspect.Help is very much appreciated.Best wishes

Hi All,I have a problem with making a reservation for the Thalys connection between Amsterdam and Paris Nord.The app gives me the option to book it through there but keeps sending me back to the same screen. And online i cant find the Interrail discount button anywhere. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?Jan

I added both mine and my boyfriends pass to a trip on my Interrail account so we could book seats next to each other. When I try to make the seat reservations it says ‘NOT AVAILABLE’ however if we try to book separately there are seats available with ‘high availability’. What am I doing wrong? Please help
