Train connections & reservations

Hello, me and my friend are going on interrail in about a week!We kind of „overslept“ booking our seat reservations and just started to book them today.Unfortunately we now have a problem, because the seats of every train going from london to paris on the 14th August are reserved. We then tried to book them over the eurostars website, but the Website does not find any train going from london to paris. Online you can see that the website eurostars is for trains inbetween the United Kingdom, Belgium, France,…we also tried booking from an extern website, but there you can only buy tickets to get seat reservations and those are very expensive. we are now desperate and unsure what to do.please help us, thank you in advance!antonia & anna

I'm having a problem with an Interrail route: the founder of the group can see it and added it without problems, while to me that same route doesn't appear when I try to add it. Also, even trying to import it through the link he sent me, I can't. We tried to figure out how to solve it, but we can't figure it out. Has it already happened to anyone? Do you know how it can be done?

Hi My friend and I would like to book the train 16 August with my interrail pass, but I can’t, are their any other options available or can you book it for us?  It’s the train from 14:00 Lyon Part Dieu to Breda arrived at 20:19. 

Dear community, I’m looking for a reservation for the train IC 416 or EN 40416, in particular the first, from Wien to Krakow on September 7th. I looked on the OBB website and others, but is not possible to book it. On OBB I read the message “Currently not reservable”. Do you think this is a temporary situation or all the seats are booked? You can now book pass reservations on www.raileurope.com. You have to add a rail pass, which will then be applied to all passengers in the group, and at check-out, you need to supply a pass number.I did a test for Italy (Frecciarossa Milan-Rome) and there don't seem to be any extra booking fees. And you can select a seat for €2 extra, like on the Trenitalia website.No luck for Spain yet. It will be interesting to see if it can book anything that can't be booked online elsewhere.

I have made seat reservations for me and my partner in my own account. These reservations are visible in the app on my phone. Is it possible to make the reservations that are on my partner's name visible in his own app?

Hi, I am trying to book a reservation. It is 2 ICE and a Nightjet. I can't seem to find how to reservate it. It gives warnings. '’One or more Passes cannot be used for this journey. Please select the travellers with valid Passes for this journey in order to book seats.'’ How can I reservate? Also if I go to the Nightjet website directly it also says it is not possible to book the journey but no information about if it is fully booked or anything. Has anyone als had this before? It is my first time interrail and it feels like a maze.You would think that the 28th is a bit afther the holidays for everyone so should be fine.. I don't know what to do. 

I have been trying to reserve a seat on any (high speed) train from Amsterdam to Paris-Nord, but on none of the trains scheduled on that day it seems possible to reserve a seat. The following warning appears when I try to reserve a seat:“Er zijn geen prijsresultaten gevonden. I am travelling in October with Ave international Montpellier - Madrid. I have read that I can get seat reservations on 3 sites; (Interrail, Happyrail and Raileurope).  But what site is recommended? I am travelling with 2 people and I have an interrail global pass 2nd class.

Hi!I’m currently looking at journeys within the Netherlands, and I’ve found conflicting information in multiple places. I’ve read that ICE trains require a supplement when used within the Netherlands (not internationally!), for example the journey from Amsterdam Centraal to Utrecht Centraal by ICE 125, 12:33-12:57. The NS website seems to imply that this journey would require a supplement, but the Rail Planner app doesn’t show it as needing one, and it’s not listed on the Eurail website. Similarly, this NS website specifically states under the “In which situations can I travel without a supplement with Intercity direct?” header, that:if you are traveling within the Netherlands with a Eurail or Interrail pass, an Intercity Direct Supplement between Rotterdam and Schiphol is still required.This information is also repeated on the Eurail website.However, when searching for a matching journey on the Rail Planner app (for example Rotterdam Centraal to Schiphol Airport by ECD 9539, 12:21-12:

I have tried several times to make a seat reservation on different devices and after I changed my cookie settings. Every time I get a error saying: something went wrong… I am kind of out of hope and not sure how to solve this problem, I already did everything the help page told me to, so I hope one of you could help me out, thanks in regard.

my travel is from the 17th to the 21th of August,i don’t understand why the pass of Firenze-Pistoia on the outward trip and the passes of Pistoia-Firenze and Bari-Lecce are not on the schedine,maybe because they are regional trains?How do they work,are they still free?What do we need to do to have a ticket for these trains? 

Hello! My friend and I want to travel from Berlin Lichtenberg to Norrköping Central on Friday (24th July) with the night train. We have a seat reservation (booked via Interrail) for a connection that starts at 7:05 pm in Berlin Lichtenberg and ends at 08:24 am in Norrköping Central. But we cannot find a train with this timetable anymore. The only train we can find starts at 5:41 pm in Berlin Lichtenberg and arrives Norrköping Central at 09:45 am. Both of them are the trains EN344. Does our seat reservation change to the train with the new timetable? Can we just get onto the new train or do we have to do something?

I have 2 standard 2nd class reservations. Can I upgrade to Eurostar Plus on a 2nd class pass?

The system failed to book the correct journey, the wrong time was then booked, then the correct journey was booked, then the refund processed ended up cancelling the correct trip and leaving the wrong one.My family of 4 are set to travel later this week and it means a whole bunch of our other connections don’t work. Spaces on Eurostar trains are limited for interrail. How can I resolve this?I cannot even find a number to speak to a human being…

Interrail app says that is a service from Oslo leaving at 9.18am. This service does not exist on the Norwegian railways or into a website and yet it still shows in the interaction. I have made reservations for two on the 8:44 to Myrdal.What is the likelihood of the interrail planner showing the correct time of 8.44am

Dear InterRail,I have an InterRail paper pass, and I added a trip on interrail.com with that pass and the correct pass cover number.I want to book a night train from Paris-Austerlitz to Tarbes.I selected the trip with the corresponding pass.When I want to book via https://interrail.com/, it just says “One or more Passes don't cover this journey. Select the travellers with valid Passes for this journey to book seats.”I double checked, I have selected myself and the correct trip. The pass is a global pass, and the booking I want to make is in the middle of the passes validity.Places on the train are available since I can book via https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass or https://raileurope.com/.SAME for the earlier day train (TGV). We are planning to be travelling on Sunday 13 September from Ljubljana to Munich.The man in seat 61 states reservations are optional; another site stated reservations are advisable on a Sunday because trains are busy.My questions are:1. Would the community agree with this, or is it worth risking it?2. The reservation would appear, from the OBB website, to be Villach to Munich; is Ljubljana to Villach not reservable?3. Is 6 minutes sufficient for transfer at Villach?

I have noticed that allaboard.eu is now also selling interrail reservation for france and maybe other countries, and they only charge a 1€ fee compared to the 2€ fee of other places like the interrail reservation service or raileurope.com. But it seeems like they do not sell reservataion for Ouigo trains, they dont even appear in their planner.They also sell reservation for other countries (but for most of the other ones they sell it is possible to book reservations online directly from the operator)Anyone already tried them out for reservations? (I know they have been selling passes for a while, is them selling reservations a new thing?)

Hi all !  We are taking a night train from Zurich to Amsterdam, the seat reservation is optional but we want to reserve it anyways. Though, when we try to, it’s says we need to send paper tickets by post, but we are moving a lot and cannot receive them. Do you know how we can just receive electronic tickets ?  Thanks !

I can add  the trains manually, but it is a bit concerning that these trains are not found one day before ...

On 15 August I would like to travel with Nightjet 470 from Offenburg 23:35 to Hamburg 07:53.But the train is not available for sale yet. Does anyone know if and when the reservations will be available?If I find this journey in the DB planner, there is a notification:The stops Karlsruhe Hbf, Bruchsal, Heidelberg Hbf, Darmstadt Hbf and Frankfurt(Main)Süd are omitted. The train is diverted. The reason is construction work.That is fine with me. I don’t need these stops.
