I have noticed that allaboard.eu is now also selling interrail reservation for france and maybe other countries, and they only charge a 1€ fee compared to the 2€ fee of other places like the interrail reservation service or raileurope.com. But it seeems like they do not sell reservataion for Ouigo trains, they dont even appear in their planner. They also sell reservation for other countries (but for most of the other ones they sell it is possible to book reservations online directly from the operator)Anyone already tried them out for reservations? (I know they have been selling passes for a while, is them selling reservations a new thing?)
Hi all ! We are taking a night train from Zurich to Amsterdam, the seat reservation is optional but we want to reserve it anyways. Though, when we try to, it’s says we need to send paper tickets by post, but we are moving a lot and cannot receive them. Do you know how we can just receive electronic tickets ? Thanks !
Hello,I cannot find the trains I am looking for in Sweden tomorrow and the day after:10.07. 19:05 Berlin Lichtenberg > 10:00 Stockholm Central (SJ: yes, DB: yes, RailPlanner: nothing found 11.07. 22:55 Stockholm Central → 06:05 Östersund C (SJ:yes, DB: yes, RailPlanner: nothing found) All departures from Stockholm Central: No train found at 21:00/22:00, only 23:15 to Malmo CAm I doing something wrong or is that much data missing from Sweden? I can add the trains manually, but it is a bit concerning that these trains are not found one day before ...
On 15 August I would like to travel with Nightjet 470 from Offenburg 23:35 to Hamburg 07:53.But the train is not available for sale yet. Does anyone know if and when the reservations will be available? If I find this journey in the DB planner, there is a notification:The stops Karlsruhe Hbf, Bruchsal, Heidelberg Hbf, Darmstadt Hbf and Frankfurt(Main)Süd are omitted. The train is diverted. The reason is construction work. That is fine with me. I don’t need these stops. But if I click at “Journey information” there is another notification:The stops Basel SBB, Basel Bad Bf, Freiburg(Breisgau) Hbf and Offenburg are omitted. The train is diverted. The reason is construction work. That does not sound good… But the planner does still find the journey. My research so far: For the journey 15 August, the planner shows that NJ470 has 7 stops between Offenburg and Hamburg Hbf. On a normal day it has 11 stops.Bruchsal, Heidelberg Hbf, Darmstadt Hbf and Frankfurt(Main)Süd is missing, but Offenburg is st
Hello, I am trying to book a ticket for the night train from Split to Zagreb (on the 4th of August at ~21h) but the rail planner app says no price result found and tickets might be sold out but when I look on the operator's website the train ticket is available for purchase. Does anyone know how to book it using the pass rather than having to pay for the full price ticket?
Hello, i am wondering if i book a few transfers on the inter rail planner and there are short transfers, if i get delayed and miss the short transfer will i get to board the next one or get refunded? thanks
After purchasing several reservations on Eurail for our group of 4, traveling in Austria and Switzerland, I tried to make carriage and seat selections only to discover that Eurail does not allow me to do so, although the selections could be made on the operators’ sites when reservations are made there. I do not recall during the reservation process being informed by Eurail that seats cannot be selected with Eurail reservations, but they can be selected by purchasing the reservation directly with the operator. If they had done so, I would not have purchased reservations on Eurail. So, I would like to get a refund for the reservations I just made today on Eurail and then repurchase the reservations directly with the operator and select seats. How can I do this? Eurail says that reservation refunds depend on the operator. Will it require contacting the various operators? This is an important issue to us, not only to have seats we enjoy, but for logistical reason. We have several very
I have a 4-trip Interail pass, and when I try to book a seat for the Amsterdam–Berlin leg on 8th July 2026, and the Berlin–Praha leg on 10th July 2026, I get a message for every departure time stating that there is an error and the reservation cannot be made. Is it possible to board the train for those legs without a seat reservation?
I want to book seat reservations with my friend, since we‘re planning on starting our interrail journey in august. When we select „add a traveler“ on the website, it says the action cannot be completed since our passes don’t have the same conditions. We both won our tickets and both have the global pass, she won it on DiscoveryEU and I on Europa-Union hamburg, so a local version of the competition. I don’t understand why it doesn’t work, since it’s the same pass. We really want to sit together so is there any way that we can book our reservations together? Thank u
If my Interrail Pass is valid until 17 August, am I allowed to start my journey back home on 17 August at 2 pm, even if I don't arrive until the morning of 18 August at 8 am?
On 29 July I am taking this journey:San Sebastian 10:59 to Valladolid 16:01 with Renfe MD 18012Wait 1:32Valladolid 17:33 to Oviedo 19:48 with Renfe AVE 4161 This is my first time in this part of Spain, so I would really like a window seat. Especially on the first long section. What is the best/cheapest way to get this?Raileurope.com can't sell reservations for the first section. They say it has to be bought at the station. But I am worried that the window seats will be sold out.Raileurope.com can sell a reservation for the second section. And I can ask for a window seat. It is not possible to select a specific seat, but I can see the seat number before paying. And try again if I want a better seat. (I can find a seat map on other sites). This train has a 2+3 configuration. So I would prefer to sit in the 2 seat side if possible. It costs 10€ plus a 2€ reservation fee (but no booking fee - I don't know the difference)Another option is Interrails own reservation system. Here I can book a
Hello I have planned to travel from tornio itainen to helsinki by eurail global pass. As a pass holder, I need to reserve my seat. I have checked several website and apps like DB, SBB, Oebb, eurail. None of them reserve seat in finnish railway trains. My concern how would I able to reserve my seat from tornio itainen to Helsinki. I have heard that VR call centre or Train station are the only way to reserve seat in Finland. Is there any ( website/apps) where I can reserve my seat.Note: VR apps able to purchase ticket with reservation. There is no option of seat reservation only. Profound regards
I am to late with reserving seats for the trains i need to get. Now its saying i cant get on the train if i dont have a reservation, but its full already. I have bought the pass, booked appartements and planned everything around these locations. What can i do to fix this?
Hi, We have bought a first class pass for this summer, and are planning on going from Denmark to France and back. We are wondering if it is necessary to reserve spots in the reservations optional trains or if we, because we have the first class pass will be more likely to get a spot even without the reservation since we have the first class pass?
Hi - when I was planning my Interrail journey (out Wed, 1 July) there were no reservations needed for DB trains at all.I’ve now seen that it looks like they are needed not just on the return route which I’d come across in May but also arriving via Amsterdam. The ES is meant to arrive 16:22, and I had two options for getting to Hannover - first one via Duisburg, leaving Amsterdam 16:38 so quite tight but doable if the ES is on time, the second direct on the route to Berlin, leaving 18:00.As I now appear to need a reservation (hopefully still available somehow somewhere), I don’t think I can just wait and see as I was hoping to do - one of the good things about Interrail. But if I were to buy the reservation for Duisburg but then miss the connection, would it be valid on the alternative later route not via Duisburg? The DB website does give both those two connections for that ES (which I’d booked ages ago of course), nothing else. So there is no other choice I think, e.g. a later Duisburg
Hi, (first time I use Interrail)I already booked all seats/berth reservations for a trip directly at Deutsche Bahn, SJ, ÖBB. Now the timetable has changed and I had to rearrange my whole trip. No problem, I’m flexible.I divided my trip into several journeys and will activate my pass on the first travel date which is within 2 days. Now I cannot add the already booked night train journey from Stockholm to Hamburg because all places meanwhile are sold out (the confirmation of my reservation is still valid). I see no possibility to manually add a journey. What should I do?
I am planning to travel tomorrow morning from Oslo to karlstad, with first class pass. Can anyone clarify if seat reservations are required? The planner shows optional for IC trains, but other information suggests they may be required for both IC and hst?If they are optional, any experience with whether it will be easy to get a seat on the morning 727am train?!
Hello! We're traveling from Lucerne to Füssen, Germany. There's 2 interchange of only 7 minutes. Lucerne to Zurich is IR 2571 arriving at Platform 10Zurich to Buchloe is leaving from Platform 34. Do we have enough to get from Platform 10 to 34? Thank you so much.
I had booked tickets with reserved seats on the train between Munich and Prague on August 7th. Now, however, the train no longer departs from Munich, but from Regensburg. The question is: are tickets and reserved seats still valid? The train number is the same, only the departure station has changed. I asked the Czech Railways but they told me that I have to ask the Swedish SJ Railways because they made the ticket. This is impossible! I don't know who to ask anymore!
Hello,I am travelling to Istanbul, Bucuresti and Sofia this summer with my girlfriend and have a question about the Bosphorus night train. If I am correct the interrail planner does not give the correct data for the Bosphorus train from Bucuresti Nord (Romania) to Halkali (Turkey) and from Halkali to Sofia (Bulgaria), and you have to buy the seat reservations at the train station itself. We’ll arrive in Bucuresti on August 4th and want to take the train to Halkali the next day. We also want to take the train from Halkali to Sophia on August 10th. I was wondering if we can buy both reservations in Bucuresti on the 4th. And is there a big change that the train will be sold out already? (the 4th is on a Monday).Thank you in advance!!Floris
Hi,I have an Interrail GlobalPass and am currently in Turkey. I want to go to Budapest from Istanbul. I have already booked the Halkali - Bucharest journey, and I want to book the Bucharest-Budapest journey on 1 Sep after 5pm.I would like to book the Bucharest-Budapest night journey but on the Hungarian site, despite the addition of the pass, the fares are much higher than expected, perhaps they contain the seat + the ticket and I can't find a way to separate them. On the Romanian site, it is impossible to put a form of discount/pass in the entry data. Finally, on the OBB site, the ticket is indicated as not available. Do I have to wait until I'm at the station to take these tickets? Moreover the schedules on the OBB and Interrail sites are totally different. On the rail planner, I see an 18:25 direct train. On the other hand, on the OBB, I see a 17:44 train with 1 exchange. Which one is correct? Finally, if the OBB site is correct, I’d like to buy a seat reservation but I think the
I have a purchased Eurail pass with provision for first class seating. Do Seat Reservations need to be made through Eurail or can they be purchased thru DB, SNCF, Rail Europe, etc? If so, details please. Also, Eurail shows seating reservations are not open for 5 of my 7 legs of travel; however, Rail Europe shows seating reservations are open for all. Why the difference; is there a remedy on Eurail?
I have been previously able to access the LTG Link site to book seat reservations from Vilnius to Warsaw. However, the LTG Link site seems suddenly to have decided to not allow access from Australia. Does anyone know if this is temporary, seasonal (with the high season approaching), or an IT fix I’d need to find locally (in Australia - eg using a VPN or similar)? I was hoping to book a couple of remain legs of our trip in Lithuania next week when I believe bookings open and don’t want to miss out on seat reservations, especially as some trains only run once per day.
