Bonjour,j’aimerai réserver avec ma famille un train de nuit entre Bergen et Oslo (Norvège). Je n’ai pas pris encore le pass interail.comment faut il procéder ? Faut il d’abord prendre le pass ou faire une réservation ?merci pour vos réponses…Valérie 

I brought my first ticket for Aug 1st through rail europe. I indicated my global pass number during the checkout. I am trying to add that to my trip in Rail Planner app. I added the journey, added to my pass and activated it. Everything looked good and I was able to view my ticket (QR code) which I believe is what I need to scan/show. But after a while I checked again any my journey is gone from the app. What am I doing wrong? Or is this a known app issue? I got email from rail Europe with pdf tickets attached. Can I take a print out if it just to be safe? It has QR code too.Thank you.

I’m new to Eurail. I’m looking at the pass that allows 7 days travel in a month. As I understand it, you create a journey (which may be a number of train connections and train changes) save it to your trip and then create a ticket for the day.  What happens if you miss a train during the day - say for example, you are not familiar with the station and fail to get to the next train in time? What do you do? Is your ticket for the day valid for another train? Do you need to create a new journey for the day? Assuming no reservations are needed.

We want to make a 1st class seat reservation for EC163 (Zurich 8h40- Innsbruck 12h11) to see the views in the panorama carriage, but we only have 2nd class passes. In the Interrail.eu website, it only appears the option “Seat 2nd class“ but in the OBB wesite it seems to have a choice, as shown in the image below:Is it possible? 

I have an interrailcard and want to use the discount in italy, on trenit. But I cant se how to do that? Anyone now how to use your eurorail card/discount when travel whit trenitalia? 

Travelling from Nice to Avignon to Annecy and then Paris is it worth buying a rail pass ? And if you buy it do you have to pay extra for the train ticket 

We are plannig a trip from Germany (Hannover) to Spain (Malaga). On the Route that we wish to take there is one stopover which does not leave much time to change trains. As we are aware that the German trains are often late we are worried about making our connecting train that requires a reservation. Is it possable (and meaningful) to buy reservations for the following train as well as the train that we are hoping to take?Thank you in advance.

I am aware that as recently as 2 months ago, the Eurail pass did not work for trains from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald and above._________________________________Has there been any RECENT CHANGE to this policy so that the Eurail pass can be used for these trains ?Same question for Aerial tramways?

Two people traveling together for the first time using Eurail Passes on each of their smart phones.Note: we are new to these passes.  Hence, this may be a “dumb” question, but here goes:Is it better to purchase a 2-person pass; or two, separate, 1-person passes?There is no cost difference.

Next Summer we will be first-time users of the Eurail Pass. We are not familiar with past practices with this pass.  We are seeing notices for a 15% discount offer (20-Feb thru 2-March) from several online sources including https://www.eurail.com/en/eurail-passes/global-pass.Questions:  Is there any reason NOT to purchase this pass now verses later in promotional period (high the discount get better)?   Based on experiences from prior years, are better offers likely before summer or is this the best we should expect?

Hi there, Could anyone answer 2 questions for me, please? I'm a Hungarian with 2 British children and we live in the UK. Can I buy interrail passes for us?Also can we use the first day on the pass to travel from North West to London and the same day from London to Paris or Amsterdam? Thanks Krisztian 

This summer (end of July to the start of August) I will travel from Denmark to the Pyrenees to hike for 1 or 2 weeks. I will buy an interrail pass for the journey.I will buy reservations for the outbound journey. (If all goes well I will be able to do this part of the journey in just 1 travel day - this includes 2 night trains)But since I don't know when I will finish my hike, I can't buy reservations for the home journey in advance.Most trains in France requires a reservation. The only exception is the regional TER-trains. But they are slow. And I am not sure how comfortable they are on a long journey.What my chances of buying a reservation for a French long distance train in the start of August with just a few days notice in the start of August?My home journey starts in Toulouse.I know that some French trains only has limited interrail reservations. I guess they will be sold out. But what about the trains that are not marked as limited in the Interrail Planner?Just to complicate thin

I will be visiting Europe very soon and are delighted to hear that the Eurail Pass is on 15% off this spring!Upon doing some calculations, we found that the flexi Eurail pass could save more cost compared to the half-fare pass/STP. How do i make a reservation when it says “This is a popular train. Seat reservations are recommended but not required.” but there is no option to reserve a seat?I have a 1st Class 15 day pass and the trip I am looking at is may 6 from Vienna to Prague at 11:10AM

Hey y’all, thanks for your help. I’m trying to get from Paris to Barcelona on Wednesday Feb 21. There’s one direct train that isn’t sold out yet, but seems the only ticket left are first class. I have a EUrail global second class pass.I’ve read on similar questions in the community that France/SCNF sometimes allows people to pay the first class reservation fee as an upgrade and it’s fine even if you have a second class pass. But I’ve also read that basically I’d be riding without a valid ticket, so I haven’t bought anything yet. Rather urgent though, since I think this is the last ticket available. Any advice? I could go to Gare du Lyon tomorrow and ask in person. It’s difficult for me to call because I don’t have a valid phone number right now, but I can figure out how to if needed.

We are planning to buy a Eurail Global Pass as we intend to travel to other European countries too. I have a few questions about three of my trips here –1. We are planning to do the Golden Round Trip from Lucerne on the 20th of July (Saturday). What journies here are covered totally under the Global Eurail Pass? Bearing in mind that it is a weekend in July, should I make reservations in advance? If I have to book individual tickets for each of the rides, what is the best website to book it from? Hi All,  I need suggestion on how many travel days pass should I book. Below is my itenary:  Travel Day 1: Reaching Basel from Rome by Air and taking same day  train from Basel to Interlaken as I have stay booked in Interlaken. Within Interlaken , we also plan to travel to Junfrau mountain via the local train.  Travel Day 2: Take train From Interlaken to Innsbruke  Travel Day 3: Take train from Innsbruke to Prague Travel day 4: Prague to Berlin.  I was booking 4 days Interrail but I am getting suggestions of booking 5 days. Which does not make sense to me that is the reason I thought of checking from the experts. Please help. 

I have a trip from Newcastle to London King Cross tomorrow, because of the ongoing engineering work, it includes the bus replacement, I wanna ask if the bus has a storage place specifically for big luggage?
