Buenas tardes, Estamos interesados en hacer un interrail dentro de poco, por tanto nos dirigimos a vosotros para preguntaros algunas dudas acerca del viaje. Para empezar, nos han surgido varias dudas acerca de la documentación que se necesita para poder viajar.  Por otra parte, nos gustaría saber todo sobre los precios: si hay algún descuento por ser estudiante, el precio total...  Cuanto es la cantidad maxima de personas que pueden participar en el viaje? Hay diferentes modos de viajar allí o distintos clases? Para terminar, les agradeceríamos mucho  que nos informaseis en torno al transporte y alojamientos que soléis usar. Nos gustaría tener una respuesta lo antes posible,Muchas gracias por la atención.Manex Larañaga.15/12/2023 

Hi everyone!I have bought one Deutschland-Ticket and I find that there is RE11 train from Koblenz to Luxembourg. I am wondering if the ticket is still valid for this train or do I need buy another ticket to Luxembourg?There are also similar situations for other RE trains to some cities in neighbouring countries.Thanks in advance!

Hello,I hold the Interrail France-Germany Pass which is a Flexipass of 7 days within 1 month. My country of residence is Germany but I am currently already traveling in France and have not used my outbound ticket to get here. (I came by other means of transport)So what I would like to do is:travel days 1-3: within France (I already used them)travel day 4: Montpellier - Cologne =  inboundtravel day 5: Cologne - Montpellier = outbound travel day 6+7: within France The question is: Is it possible to use the inbound before the outbound journey? (Normally it would be the other way around) And is it possible to travel within France when I have already used out+inbound? thanks a lot!   

I live in rural France , - it will take at least two train journeys to get to the final train that will take me across the border into Switzerland. If these are all part of my outward journey itinerary  on the same day, is this allowed?

Hi all,I am trying to reserve a seat for the Eurostar between London and Paris Nord on 26th July 2024. I know it’s quite early but just want to make sure I have a seat as that will be during Olympic time. I used the B-Europe website and the website shows the following message:“No connections matching your requests.Please change your search options (e.g. allow any type of trains, don't specify a via station or reduce extra transfer time)”I have checked several days in July and August, and only the morning of 26th July shows this message. Does this mean all the tickets for the pass holder on that morning are sold out? Is it really possible for the train to be fully booked since it is still 7 months early? Reservation through the Eurail website for that day is even not open yet since it is more than 180 days. Do I still have a possibility to reserve a seat for that day?Would truly appreciate with your help.Thank youKathy

Je voudrais savoir si, avec ce pass global, il est possible de voyager en plusieurs périodes pendant sa durée, en rentrant chez soi entre les périodes. Ce point n’est pas clair dans la description du pass. J’ai bien noté que nous n’avons droit qu’à deux trajets en France pendant la durée du pass.Merci d’avance pour vos réponses

We are traveling to some countries next May and June. We plan to buy Eurail global pass. My son is 27 years old and 16 days  on the first day of traveling. I am wondering if he can use Eurail global pass for youth? 

I want to buy an Europass ticket and use it to book a ticket on a train, say 24/12/23, would the 22 day limit on my ticket start counting on the day I make the booking or when I first ride on a train? Thank you! 

Hi so I reserved seats for the bernina express in the summer , I paid €75 to reserve 2 seats,  i put interail pass into the reductions box , is this the correct price I paid ? even tho we have interail passes and the price didn't seem to reduce when i selected interail in reductions.  Also do I need to do anything else only turn up on the day and present my reservation printout and interail pass ?

J’ai cherché les trains qui m’interessent sur le site Interrail, mais celui ci ne me propose pas le train que je voudrais prendre, alors que je le trouve sur trainline :Ma question : est il possible d’acheter un pass 4 jours sur Interrail, et ensuite acheter les billets de train sur un autre site ? est il possible dans ce cas de reserver les sieges sur l’autre site  (en l’occurence trainline) ? est ce que mes pourrais trouver mes reservations sur appli Interrail , ou faut il que j’utilise a chaque fois l’appli du site ou de la compagnie où j’ai acheter les billets ?Merci bcp pour votre aide

I am scratching my head to figure out the reservation system of RENFE trains, after some research I found out that this is an extremely complicated topic. Some questions that I’m not sure of: 1. Obligatory ReservationAs far as I understand, almost all trains in Spain require a reservation. The only exceptions are (a) suburb commuter service - aka Cercanias (or Rodalies in Catalunya) and (b) some regional trains - aka Media Distancia. (a) Regarding Cercanias trains : While I know reservation is not needed (and not possible), I cannot find the connection on railplanner app. For example, I am looking at the C1 service from Alicante to Murcia. Can anyone confirm this is indeed reservation-free ?(b) Regarding Media Distancia trains : These trains usally reqire seat reservations. Between touristy cities the only free connections I found are Barcelona - Valencia, Valencia - Alicante, Barcelona - Zaragoza - Marid. Hi everyone!I am checking on the Deutschland-Ticket (49 Euro per month) for German local, public transports.I am little confused about the validity time and cancellation here.So if I would like to travel in Germany in December, I can buy the ticket now (13. Dec)? And it will work immediately this month? What if I don’t need it in January next year, so I can cancel it by the end of December? Or there are some time deadlines for the cancellation?Thanks very much!

I have some issues with booking a ticket from london to Edinburgh on the 24th of june. Is it because those tickets simply aren't available yet? Also why can't you get the reservation on the interrail site, do you have to do it on another site? And if that's the case how do i select that i already bought an interrail and only need a seat reservation. Hope somebody can awnser me with this since im very new to this and could use some help. 

Hi everyone!I have a question about German Rail Pass. I am living in Germany for a month with a short-term visa.I would like to travel around Germany during Christmas. Is it valid for me to buy a German Rail Pass ticket? I checked on the website saying that it is only valid for people with residence outside of Germany?Thanks for any help in advance! 

Hi everyone, I am currently residing in Germany. I have recently purchased interrail global pass (10 days in 2 months). I have planned 2 trips.First stralsund-hamburg-copenhagen and vice versa. This means I will use 2 travel days and inbound/outbound days as well right?Second one is Hannover-Paris-Bern-Zurich-Hannover. So from Hannover to Paris there’s a change in Cologne. Then there’s a eurostar direct connection to Paris. So, as per my understanding I have used all the inbound/outbound trips. Do I need to purchase ticket for Hannover to Paris whole trip or just for Hannover to Cologne? I am a little confused here; is my interrail pass valid for train from cologne to paris. or if I have to leave Germany every time I need to buy a new ticket and use interrail pass outside of the home country.Thank you in advance. I am really looking forward to your inputs! 

I have a question about my Interrail pass usage. I am a resident of Germany, and I've already used the allowed number of travel days to enter and leave a country. Now, I plan to take a direct train from France that goes through Germany on my way to Austria. Can I still use my Interrail pass for this journey, even though I've used up my inbound and outbound travel days?

We’re landing in Paris in a week, and bought Eurail passes for our family of 4 to get to Switzerland and spend a couple weeks there.  However, we just found out last night that we need to reserve TGV tickets as this is our first time doing the train.  eurail.com gives us an error every time we try to check in: Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart.We’ve tried different computers, cleaning cookies, etc., so the problem doesn’t seem to be with our computers as Eurail customer support intimated.Calling SNCF did not yield results either.  They only accept European credit cards, and American Express.  We have neither.  Are there any other options?  We REALLY do not want to rent a car but it’s starting to seem like the only viable option.

I have been caught up in the very last minute German train strike today (I assume like many other travelers). Does anyone know if DB will automatically accept passes valid for today when travelling tomorrow/next day?The DB website says all DB and international tickets for today are valid for future dates, no need to do anything, but doesn’t specifically mention rail passes.I was booked to travel today Chur-Basel-Stuttgart. I have an active travel day for today but have not been able to get any trains from Basel to Stuttgart. I don’t hold out any hope of further compensation/ hotels etc but will I at least be able to use pass for onward travel and just show old activated day?

Hello, I am planning to travel with  family of 5 persons. Looks like seat reservation costs are per person per train. Going from The Netherlands to south of Spain will take 3 high speed trains to Madrid.Amsterdam - Paris €35 Paris - Barcelona €35 Barcelona - Madrid €10 or €23,50 => €20 TOTAL €90=> Are these costs per seat or per reservation of 5 seats ?If it is per seat, that would be 5 persons x €90 x 2 (return trip) = €900 for seat reservations only 😳 !!!Are there ways to minimize these costs??
