Hi,I want to take the night train from Split to Zagreb on the 14th of August with my Eurail ticket, it says I need to book a seat reservation but when I go to the Eurail website to book the seat reservation it says they are not available to be booked. Can I just buy my seat reservation on the day or is it all sold out already? 

I have Eurail pass to be used in Italy and Switzerland June-July 2023 (already activated). I need to travel from Interlaken West - Interlaken.Ost - Lauterbrunnen - Murren and back a few days then to Spiez.I notice Eurail pass seems cannot be used Interlaken Ost-Lauterbrunnen-Murren legs.Are there any discounts for this rail/(cable car)travel with Eurail?Also, are there any discounts for Eurail pass holders for other Swiss alpine travel around Murren?

Hi, I am planning to travel on the TGV 9577 from Karlsruhe to Stuttgart. I know that for TGVs reservations are normally needed, and this would be the case if I was coming from France with the train. However, the Rail Planner app is telling me that no reservation would be required.  Is this true? Or is it better to just save the trouble and get a normal ICE train? Thank you for all the help in advance :)

Hello.We are finalizing our travel itinerary to Amsterdam, then the UK.  We propose to travel from Amsterdam to London via Thalys then Eurostar in the early fall of this year.  We have bought our mobile Global Flex Pass, and have started exploring our train options, although we have not downloaded the app or activated our pass. I have held off on making reservations as,the way I understand the Eurail policy on passes, we need to have our itinerary pretty much set as we will not get any refund on partially used and activated passes. While i understand that once we have our itinerary about set, we should make reservations on high-speed rail travel.  How long can I wait until I make reservations on these “fixed” journeys? We are about 80% set about this leg of the journey,and would prefer not to make too many modifications to the reservations.  How difficult is it to modify a reservation this far in advance on high-speed train journeys?  Are there “travel insurance” that would cover modif

I’m looking to travel from Zurich to Chur on 9/16/23 but all of the trains are showing that no reservations are available. Is that possible this far out?

Hi there, I’m travelling pretty soon, going from London St. Pancras to Paris Nord and then getting a connection from Paris Est to Strasbourg on the same day. I will have about 40 mins to catch the train to Strasbourg, which (in theory) should be sufficient. As a reservation was required however, I am a little concerned about the options I would have, if the Eurostar was running late and I was to miss the connecting train. Will I be able to simply catch the next train or would I need to speak to the staff at the station first and validate my ticket for the next connection? If so, is the validation dependant on anything (e.g. seat availability for interrrail users? Would there be an additional charge for this?

I understand that when I activate my pass I use my first travel day. I need to add a journey to make a ticket. My question is that can  I change my journey during the day? If I for example go from Copenhagen to Hamburg and my next trip would be towards Berlin according the planned journey but I would like to change it to some other place. Is this possible?

Hi, I am trying to book Bologna to Innsbruck but get the message ‘No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection’  for all trains on the day I need. Does this mean I can still board without a reservation, or does it mean there are no more spaces available for interrail card holders? I need to travel on the day specified to make other connections. My other option is to pay for a regular ticket separately, which I see I am able to do direct with the train company, but this seems unfair as I have paid for an interrail card. Thank you, Teresa

HelloIs it possible to book a reservation seat on another way then the interrail website?We will take the  night train on September 13th from Ljubljana to Zürich. On the interrail website and the website of OBB (I guess this is the train company), it’s not possible… I’ve checked on other dates and this is the same for all dates, so I guess that the train isn’t fully booked?Does someone now another way to check it or to make a seat reservation?A lot of thanks in advance!

Hi,I live in the UK and am intending to catch the Harwich-Hoek van Holland ferry. The night ferries are full on the days I want to travel so I intend to stay overnight in Harwich and catch the day ferry instead. Is that permitted? There would be no UK train travel on the second day, but equally I wouldn’t actually be leaving the UK on my “outward” day - just travelling to the port.  

I can not book a reservation on the train warszawa to vilnius because there is none available anymore. What happens if I get on the train anyway? I have a global pass.

Can I put my pass on my and on my wife’s device if something happens? I am going to activate my pass on my own mobile but if it is broken or stolen I still have my pass on my wife’s mobile. If this should happen can then my wife show and use my pass?

I’m not EU citizen. This time I go to Zermatt and after travel by train to Austria and back to Zurich. Does Eurail global pass covers train to Zermatt from Zurich and back ?

Hi, im trying to book 6 seats for te eurostar train london - paris, if i want to do it through eurrail directly it says there are no prices available as i may think everything is sold out. But if I get into the eurostar page there are still seats available, how can i book then my seats directly from eurostar? Using my eurrail pass obviously and just paying the seat reservation  Im desperate since we are travelling next monday 26 and i cant seem to find a solution. Many thanks

hi please help!! could a first class pass holder please search if there are any eurostar london to paris tickets on the 29th or 30th june 2023?? or any eurostars at all on those days?? it would be so so helpful i would really appreciate it! I’ve just bought my first pass (2nd class) and now all the trains are saying sold out/not letting me buy tickets, and i urgently need to travel on those days. thank you!!!

Hi Interrail communityMy girlfriend and I are going on Interrail for the first time this summer. We will travel by the night train from Zagreb to Split (departure: 22:30 10th of august). We would like to book two beds in a couchette car but that does not seem possible at Interrail.eu? Only seat reservation seems to be available but if we check https://www.hzpp.hr/en it seems like the couchette cars are not sold out. Is it possible to book two beds in a couchette car beforehand somewhere else or is it only possible to book this at the train station in Zagreb?Thank you in advance for answers!/Frederik

Is the global Pass valid for the route between amsterdam and trier? cause I cannot fix it I can not fix it when making my travel plan!

So, the 3rd of july i’m taking a train directly from Berlin to Gdańsk in Poland. I found the tickets on the Eurail app, but whenever i want to buy the tickets, i have to type in the name of my accommodation/hotel name/ hostel name and it also says that it’s a paper ticket. Does that mean that they are shipping the tickets or do i get the tickets by email and then i have to print them myself?? 

Hi, I have a 1 month Senior Interrail pass for the first time and my country of permanent residence is Spain. I am about to travel from my home in Malaga to London, via Madrid, Barcelona and Paris and that is all booked and sorted. However on my return trip I am taking the overnight Brittany Ferries from Plymouth to Santander, then onwards by train to Malaga via Madrid, all in the same afternoon. My question is this - does Santander count as a border point for entry into Spain, therefore allowing me to use the Interrail for 1 continous journey onwards on that day of arrival, or would it be considered an internal Spanish trip and so not valid? Thanks

Hey guys,I want to use the greek island pass for 4 days. But I’m not sure about the conditions. Are the two ferry comanys included or only 30% off? Aaaand the other question for safety: do I need to start in Pireaus or can I start also in santorino or rhodos? I found some articels but I’m not 100% sure about all of this.Thanks for your help <3
