I have purchased a eurail pass, and am now trying to book seat reservations! However, the train time options coming up in my search in the app, are then not showing as options when I go to book seat reservations on the website!! Why is this?Thanks in advance!!

Hello, I am having a Eurail Global Pass 7 days. I want to book Eurostar on Oct 31 2022 from London to Paris but Eurail website seat reservation is showing UNAVAILABLE  On B Europe I am able to find seats but it is asking for Pass Cover Number which I have generated online.But there is a small note in the footer of “where can i find pass cover number?” - it shows where to look for pass cover number but also says valid only for paper pass and not for digital pass I am confused - can I book this ticket using the pass cover I generated online - Pls note:  I have mobile pass and not paper pass Pls suggest asap kindly Thanks so much!!!! Satbeer

Hello! I am about to buy a 15 Day Use Global Pass but need some help on UK travel. I think I am ok from London to Paris / Amsterdam / up to Scotland but I can’t seem to work out the UK - I tried to do one of those ‘Plan your Trip’ searches but all I could find in the UK that I want to go to is Bath and London.Has anyone used the Global Pass to go to Oxford / Cambridge / Brighton or anywhere near the Lakes District?​​​​​​​ Thanks so much! Cheers  

Dear Interrail Team, I have purchased the Interrail global pass for two months. Unfortunately, my dad got cancer which was a major force, and things got very tough for my family and me. Based on these dramatic circumstances with my dad and despite activating the pass, I couldn't use my Interrail ticket, and I immediately returned home. I would still like to use this amazing opportunity and travel around Europe when things hopefully get better again... Could you please let me know if there is a possibility of reimbursing my ticket so I can travel with my global interrail pass later in time? Hi everyone,I recently made a seat reservation for Venice to Salzburg (via Villach) for the 22nd of December, and I thought I had done everything right, costing the 10 euro fee etc. I found it a bit odd that it didn’t require any information. Once I downloaded the pdf, I realised there was absolutely no information on it at all? As in the time, stations, the whole rail journey is missing? I’m assuming this makes the ticket not valid. Is there anyone I could contact to fix this?Thank you!

Hi everyone! I am a new Interrail user and I need your help!I am planning my first Interrail experience but I am having troubles in finding connections between Tallinn and Prague. I have read that the app might not be updated and that the Baltic regions might not have inserted the train timetables on the Interrail webpage. My question is: If I book the train connection (Tallinn-Prague) on a national rail webpage (Omio), will it be included in my Interrail ticket or will I have to pay extra for it? How do I do?(As both Tallinn and Prague are Interrail destinations) THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!

I have a train from amsterdam centraal to berlin hbf but the book reservation site says that one of the legs can’t be booked although Rail Planner says it is not required to book a seat. Can someone help me?

Hi, I have just returned from the trip in North Europe but we had to shorten our journey because we were not be able to get farther than to Oslo. We were kicked off the train because we did not have a reservation of seats and Norwegians do not want to let sitting in the aisle. Interrail app showed us that the reservation is not necessary (“you are already on the board”) for this train but a shop assistant at the train station told us that many people have the same problem because Interrail app shows sometimes false information. We were forced to cancelled our accommodation in Trondheim and come back home because all trains were sold out. Do you think is there any chance to get money back from Interrail, it is obviously their fault. Thank you so much for you opinions.Jachym

Hi,I’m from Canada and bought the global eurorail pass for my travels in Europe. I have dual citizenship (Canada/Germany) and was hoping to only travel with my German passport and leave the Canadian one safe with family I have in Germany. Currently it’s my Canadian passport # associated with my global pass. Would I have issues since the passport I’m bringing doesn’t match the pass? I will have photocopies of my Canadian passport (I know it’s not a legit document) but at least it shows the same # as the pass.Thanks!

We will be traveling through and within Netherlands, Germany, France and the UK in Dec/Jan. How long before the train departs do we generally need to be at train station?  Will it matter if its within a country or between different countries?Presumable there is security to clear especially if changing countries, is this correct?

I am planning a trip with the boys and wish to purchase 3 global passes as there are three of us. I am Malaysian and the other two in my party are Irish and Lithuanian. We all live in the United Kingdom. I am supposed to buy a Eurail pass and the other two should buy interrail passes correct? If so, is there a way we can purchase 1 Eurail global pass and 2 interrail global pass together to enjoy the group purchase discount? The pass we are looking at is 4 days in 1 month. 

I'm currently spending a semester abroad in France and I would like to go home to Germany for Christmas by using Interrail.Is it possible to use the Interrail Global Pass in order to enter into my coutry of residence first and leave it afterwards?I asked myself the question if the order makes any difference.

How do I add the Stena line Gothenburg to Kiel Ferry to myTrip in the Interrail app?  I have added all of my rail journeys but can’t see how to add a ferry!  Thanks Sue

Hi everyone.  Is there anything I can do to stop the rail planner app deleting journeys?The rail planner app has just deleted a week’s worth of my journeys.  Connected to the internet this afternoon, planned and created journeys for tomorrow, closed the app.  Opened it again to be ready to show on my next train and found that all journeys had disappeared from the 'My Trip’ section for Sunday 1st to Saturday 8th October inclusive.  This included the active journeys for the trains I am currently travelling on.I like to have a record of where I have travelled so I will now spend six hours remembering all the trains that I took in the previous seven days. I am travelling on rural routes in Austria.  I will create those journeys in the app again but have noticed the app deleting a days’s journeys before.  A week’s worth is far more significant, though. 2 month continuous pass, first class adultiPhone 7 running iOS 15.7Rail Planner app 25.3.0

Enviastehello, i have a student visa from czech republic and i wanted to check if that counts as a resident so i can buy the Interrail pass. 

I'm in the train and the conducteur said I needed a reservation. In the app nothing was said about a reservation (not required or recommended) what do I need to do? 

En la app de Eurail, cuando busco trayectos para hacer, en algunos casos no figura reserva requerida pero sí aparece la leyenda "se aplican condiciones". Qué significa esto? Qué condiciones son necesarias para tomar ese tren? Gracias. 

hi everyone,I desperately need to reserve a seat on this connection between Avignon and Madrid on the 23rd of October. The checkout function does not allow me to purchase a ticket and calling the French and Spanish railway was no help either. They all advise me to just see if I can get a ticket at the station. Is there no way to make a seat reservation when you don't live in either France or Spain? Does anyone have tips or suggestions? It would be much appreciated!Best,Jesper.

Hello, I’m trying to book my frist day of travel with interrail. I’m quite late to book my train, but thats not the problem.I want to go from my hometown to Southamton England, but I can’t book any trains out of the country. For example:Lingen - Bruxells Midi: this connection is not possible even if all trains are free I cant bookBruxells Midi - London St. Pancras Intl: perfectly possible. Of course some fees, but no problem Also any other connection Starting in Germany is not possible to book. I’ve tried many. What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance.

Hello! I don’t know where i can find the costumer service and how i can exchange my pass because i purchased a one land pass and i need a global pass. 

Good morning, during my interrail due to an elbow injury i had to replan the travel and i lost 2 day from my 7 days pass. I cannot contact the assistance so i ask if anyone have an email or if there is any admin that can contact me back.I have the medical report of the injury and i would ask if its possible to have a small repay of my pass, counting it as a 5 days pass rather than a 7 days one.Thanks for the patience, hoping to hear you soon.

Hi Friends!  So… I just discovered Lapland :O Has anyone traveled up to Finnish Lapland for the Northern Lights before? I was in Copenhagen (thanks to the amazing humans on this forum… i made all 17 hours of my connections from Titisee last week!) I’m currently traveling from Hamburg to Prague right now after deciding I didn’t have the appropriate clothing for Lapland (and not enough luggage to store a new winter outfit)… but I can’t get Lapland out of my mind! I keep telling myself it’s October and I don’t need full-on snow coat and boots… am I being delusional? :P Putting feelers out there to see if anyone has done this… or can recommend it. I fly back home to Seattle on October 24 and considering overhauling my entire rest of my itinerary if I can make Lapland happen…. I know there’s a Santa Clause Night Express but I’m hoping to get a little further up North than that. It looks like Lapland is rainy but I’ve been seeing posts about the auroras showing up anyway! Would love any word

Hello.I have just got Interrail passes for all the family to get to the UK at Christmas.  I want to book the Eurostar now, as I am worried that the limited tickets will disappear.  But I need a pass number.  I believe the pass number is shown on the paper passes, but not on the e-passes?  Which seems a bit silly!  I have sent a message asking eurail to confirm my pass numbers.  Today is Saturday.  When do you think they will respond?  Do you think I will have an answer by Monday??  Otherwise I may phone the 30 cents a minute B-europe booking line….Thank You!
