Hello everyon, i have some doubts for my first interrail:-Is it possible to leave Italy and arrive at the destination? even on the way back? Doing so would use 2 days of travel, right?-I would like to leave for Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm staying 2-3 days in each city. Is it possible to do it with a 4 or 5 day global pass?Thanks a lot and good evening.

By mistake I didn’t include my 10 year old when buying my pass, I bought mine on 4/9/2022 with a 10% discount. Do I need to buy a new one? Would you please tell me what to do now? thank you. 

 Hi,Since I couldn't find the information I was looking for anywhere, I'll try here. I just booked a seat reservation for some trains. First I have a question regarding this reservation: Do I really have to bring the reservation as a printout? I mean, are they serious??? Because I specificially chose the e-Ticket and now there is standing that I have to print it out? I mean what the ***?! Second, I had to select a Trip in the booking process for the reservation (on the website). Since there was only one to select I just chose that one, but now I cant find a trip with this name in the rail planner app. Does that even matter? Does the trip have to be the same? I dont even know if my account is connected to this App and if not how i can do that.I'm really almost freaking out just because the app and all the stuff is so shitty organized and you can't see through it at all.This is stressing me out, please help me. 

Hi all I need to get from Hamburg to Copenhagen on the 23rd of July. The best train i could find when previously looking was the IC 394 train.When i try to reserve a seat for that train it says that “Reservation impossible”… for all trains leaving in that direction. Is there something happening that i have missed? Is a seat reservation really needed for this route or could i give it a go anyways without a reservation? Perhaps there is another route i could take just in case? Although, to be fair, there doesn’t seem to be too many ways to Denmark from Hamburg...

I want to travel from Amsterdam to Basel with ICE 105 on Monday the 18th July at 08:08. The rail planner app states “seat reservation recommendation” but checking oebb.at and bahn.com it seems that the train is fully booked. As the app says that reservations are recommended but not mandatory, I believe I should be able to travel, but I don’t want to gamble. Can someone confirm or deny? I’m fine with moving around in the train if my seat gets taken.Thanks,

Hi, we have already planned our trip and made the obligatory  reservations but thought of reserving seats for other trains as well. However, now it seems that there is one train left which is full. That's the only train we can use since our schedule has been fixed already (eg reservation on the eurostar later that day). Can it really be so bad that they won’t let us on the train without reservations,  even though they shouldn't be obligatory? The train is re7 from Flensburg to Hamburg, 8.15 - 10.15. I'm getting a bit terrified already, since I have my whole family with me... We wouldn't mind having to stand the two hours, if we can just get on the train!

Hello, I want to  make a seat reservation for this journey, but  this message show up. I’ve already read some things about this message in this forum but I really don’t understand what does it mean. Can someone explain what does that mean? And what are the solutions ? 

I do not succed to buy seats on the day train from Zagreb to Split and they are mandatory.What to do ? 

We try to make seat reservations for our trip through italy in september 2022. But since months it is impossible to reserve for frecciarossa-trains after 18.september 2022 . Has anybody an idea to help?

Hi Am traveling now, yesterday I made a seat reservation in the website but I didn't get the tickets and it happened twice and the amount charged and that forced me to pay 190 euro for train tkt just to back to rome from milano This is the email I received Although your payment went through, there seems to be a technical glitch at the moment which means that part of the order could not be confirmed with the train carrier. You can see the failed reservation/part of the order by looking for the status “PRE-RESERVATION MADE” (successful reservations have the status “BOOKED”).Don't worry - you can still get your reservation (our team will re-book it for you).Alternatively, if you are travelling soon, you can make a new booking for the failed reservation and we will process a full refund for this (to the same account used to purchase the failed reservation(s)). I have Passes for my family.  I successfully made a seat reservation a week ago for one journey/travel day.  Now I am trying to make one for Sat 9th of July, Venice-Rome.  I can find the options using the Eurail ‘Book your Seat Reservations site’.  Some say ‘seat reservations unavailable’, others have availability.  I can add a specific reservation to my ‘Cart’ and add the billing details, but when I try the “Continue to traveler details>’ button it just boots me back to the eurail.com home page.I have tried 2 different browsers from my laptop, and from the Railplanner app.  So far it’s that same step (traveler details) that boots me out. I can see that there are seats available (for regular price) on italiarail.com.  I have tried looking up the trains and potentially making a reservation via tickets.oebb.at, but although I can find the routes and select tickets for them I have not been able to do this step as instructed by eurail for OBB:Before you pick your train, go to the top ri

Been trying for hours on several devices to pay for the reservations in my cart. When I get the “add travelers” button, that brings me back to the home page where ALL information needs to be done AGAIN. I need to checkout. Any ideas from anyone?

After spending so much time on this forum, I still don’t fully understand how to make the Interrail App work. I have gotten this far:I made reservations for my 4 travel days, I understand I need to bring these reservations separately (they will not show in the App) I created the 4 journeys/travel days with respective time tables under “My Trip” However, I don’t understand how I will get the QR codes for the different travel days.Is the only next thing I need to do to “activate My Pass”? Will the App then create the QR codes for each of the 4 travel days automatically?I can’t quite believe that this is all so complicated….

i got an email yesterday to activate my pass but i activated it a couple months ago. my friend activated it the same time as me but didn´t get the email. maybe the problem is my surname which has the letter č in it which is not an english letter and when i was filling out my name i put the letter c. can someone help?

Hi everyone! I am trying to take a train at the 18th of July 2022 from Utrecht Centraal to WIEN HBF (Austria). One of the options is to take a train from Utrecht Centraal at 8:34, arriving at FRANKFURT(M) FLUGHAFEN FERNBF (Germany) at 11:49 and taking the train here at 12:01 to Wien Hbf.  Interrail says that this is a popular train, but that a reservation for a seat is not necessary. I have tried to book a seat for 2 people at different timeslots and on different websites (bahn.com, interrail etc.) for a while. First, it looks like I am able to reserve a seat, but when trying to purchase the reservation it always tells me that I have to find an alternative connection.Now my question is, can I still take the above train without a reservation, and for example, stand in the train. Since it no longer seems possible to reserve a seat.  

I can’t make an online seat reservation for my trip from figueres vilafant to barcelona sants. Do I have to buy the seat reservation in the station?

I live in Geneva at the boarder with France and the system ask me for an outbound. Why ? 

Is the over night traveling with the euronight train counting as two travel days within the smallest interrail package with 4 travel days within 30 days? Kind regards!

Hi We are first time Interrailers having a nightmare. Trying to book Eurostar back from Brussels in August. Tickets and reservations are showing as available but it won't let us but once put in our basket. Says 'one leg of journey is unavailable'.Can anyone please advise. Frustratingly no phone number to call. M any thanks in advance, deb    

Hi!I want to take a direct train from Copenhagen-Hamburg with DB, but these journeys do not show up when I’m searching in the Rail Planner app. Does this mean that the interrail pass will not be vaild for these trains (even if I book a seat reservation for the train)?Best regards, Alice

Hi everyone,I bought the 2-month continuous pass thinking that I could use it to leave my country of residence, Germany, multiple times for the duration, but from the looks of it, I can only use two trips - one outbound and one inbound. This is incredibly disappointing (and for sure will not purchase the pass again) and this now raises a question: can I use the outbound trip in the middle of my 2-month period? Here’s why.I plan on going to different countries throughout this period. I’m currently planning on going to Belgium from Cologne in a couple of weeks, but I’m also planning a trip to Scandinavia from Munich. I would like to save my outbound trip for the one to Denmark from Munich since it’s much more expensive, but I would also like to activate my pass when I’m in Belgium so I can use it to travel in between cities there. Is this actually allowed?Thanks!

Hi all, I know I’m very last minute with my planning but we plan on travelling from Milan to Nice tomorrow however when I got to pay for the reservation this keeps coming up. Any help would be appreciated.  

Hi All,A few weeks ago we made some reservations for our Interrail journey. Those reservations were payed and we got an email that they were booked, but not confirmed yet. Besides that, they also don't appear in our reservation list and we did not receive E-tickets. We already initiated a ticket to customer services without any response. Do you know how we can resolve this issue? Our journey will start on 20AUG22.Thanks!
