Please as advice if getting a 7 day GP can be used to on eurostar I want to travel from London to France & Italy. Is a 7day pass going to be helpful. I want to travel to many cities in Italy but do not want to get  ocp as it doesn't cover all trains.From what I am reading reserving seats & using the pass seems very complicatedWhat's the best or recommended train to travel

I want to add a journey in my Eurail app, but that particular journey does not show up in the app. I already found that journey in RailEurope and booked seat reservations there. 

I’m travelling the eastern route from Northern Europe to Greece in October, and once I get to Sofia, I have a choice of bussing toThessaloniki or Kavala before heading south to Athens.The simple option is to take the train to Athens then ferry to Crete. A second option is to ferry from Kavala to Piraeus and then on to Crete. There seems to be only one 9-stop ferry on this route per week. I love the sea and spending a full day and night on a ship is fine with me. I don’t see any berths available so it must be some kind of a passenger ferry with only airline seats.Has anyone taken this route? How does my Global First Class pass affect the fare of the ferry?In face the whole ferry thing is still a bit vague.Does my pass cover the ferry (excepting berths of course) or does it give me a discount on the ferry? How many ferries am I allowed?Is the ferry to Crete included?If I ferry from Kavala, then to and from Crete, can I still ferry back to Italy for the homestretch?

I'm planning a trip to Switzerland. And I have doubts about the following questions:With the ‘Interrail Switzerland Youth Pass’ could I plan a flight from Spain to Switzerland and then redeem the Pass in Switzerland?   I haven't seen anything about a specific tour with the Pass, only the information of the days per month you can stay in the country. It takes you directly to the payment page without telling you the places the Interrail passes through. Do I have to do something I'm missing to see where the train goes?   Finally, could I purchase the Pass now (September) and redeem it in December?Thank you so much for reading.

I have created a new trip on which I am taking my daughter.  I have created this trip including her  in the desktop log in for the trip.  However on the mobile app she is not in the trip.  On the mobile app on my phone can she be in the same trip or do I need to add her separately or get her to create a trip herself on her own mobile?

Hello! We bought  4 days global pass to travel in December /2025 , but I am having hard time o reserve the tickets on this website . Every time that I add my destinations shows that does not hav any train available at that time . However if I go to the other regular websites has plenty trains  

I have recently been adding journeys to my upcoming trip on both coasts of Italy and when informed I must reserve seats (which I want to do), often I’m given the following message: "No price results were found…but there are other ways …Book in person at a main station … Book online at tickets.oebb.at." The latter has not worked for my three different journeys I was counting on.” I would love to get seats on several particular journeys. Could someone give me some guidance? That is, if I talk to agents at the main station in Stockholm (where my first journey will begin0, is it possible I might still get my dream tickets? And oebb.at has not opened the way either in all 3 journeys I have tried.  Perhaps you have other suggestions or wisdom for me?Thanks so much!

Hi all,I’m planning a trip to Spain next month, and I’m still trying to understand how to navigate the Spanish train system, the apps, and the process. So far, I’ve booked my Eurail Pass for Spain, and I’ve also made my seat reservations through Rail Europe. At the moment, I’m using two apps: Rail Planner App – which shows my Eurail Pass ticket/QR code for it Rail Europe App – which shows my seat reservation ticket / QR code for it  At the station, do I need to present both of these tickets? Please correct me if I’m wrong.I’m still trying to understand how the whole train journey flow works.

I installed the Intterail App on my smartphone and organized the complete trip with all connections there. For our journey we want to use the phone of my wife, because its newer and more reliable. Is there any way to transfer the data of de trip from one app to the other, for example via the pass numbers registered in the app?

I wanted to go from Milan to Amsterdam tomorrow but the discover eu app says I have to use an inbound day for that, but my home country is Germany, which is also tracked in my pass.so I don’t get why I have to use a inbound day to go to the Netherlands and the stop is also in zuerich, which is also not Germany.Has someone got the same problem or the solution ?

Was ist, wenn wir aufgrund einer Zugverspätung den reservierungspflichtigen Anschlusszug verpassen? Ersatzt uns dann die verursachende Bahngesellschaft im Extremfall auch eine notwendige Übernachtung? Ist der Interrailpass dann auch für den Folgetag gültig, wenn am selben (geplanten) Reisetag kein Zug mehr fährt? Wie weise ich meine Reise nach? Reichen dafür die Reservierungen? As part of my trip this summer I am travelling from Geneva to Barcelona. The section from Lyon to Barcelona says seat reservations required (which I have booked for other parts of the trip) and that it is from 10euros. But when I am trying to book it seems to say that it can only be done at the local station? Does anyone know anything about this? I am nervous about not having a seat reservation for this part of the journey.Grateful for any advice or knowlege?Many thanks

I am doing seat reservations for our journey from Livorno to Sapri. We would like to be seated on the Mediterranean side and facing forward. How do we figure that out ahead of time for our booking?

I have the Global pass and there is a rail strike for the day we leave Rome for Assisi and then Florence (22 Sept).  I read that some of the regional trains are running. We have reservations on the Frecciarosa from Rome to Assisi.  Where can I search to find it that train will be running?

Por favor , que alguien me explique como usar interrail,LLegaré en avion a Edimburgo (Escocia) y desde aqui quiero recorrer Reino Unido en tren .Ya me he registrado en Interrail , y también en la comunidad , que espero que alguien se apiade de mi y le explique a éste novato a dar los primeros pasos . Por lo que he podido aveririguar hay un pase para un pais (en este caso Gran Bretaña ) , somos 2 , osea mi mujer y Yo , he llegado a averiguar los precios de los pases por días flexibles , y que habria que hacer reservas en algunos trenes y/o en algún horario pero que no puede hacerse desde la app , sino que tiene que ser desde la web. , o al menos eso creo , o en la estación ? , ¿ y la app es la Rail planner ? …Entonces que tengo que hacer ,¿ comprar el pase y que sea digital , quiero decir que te mandan en un correo para que te descargues el pase y luego lo tienes que poner en la app , ? y luego ya me pierdoasí que por favor ayuda

Does anyone know how to get a refund to a different credit card.   My partner bought a pass last March and has started a refund.  The process assumes that it’s on the same credit card but he’s got a new one (lost the old one).  So he needs to get the refund onto the new card ( or another way).   Is there a process for this?  Thanks. 

I have just activated my Pass and added the first few journeys. Some of the journeys are not “booked” with Eurail but various rail companies with seat reservations where we paid a fee. So am I doing this right? I search out those particular journeys on the Planner so I can add them to our mobile app on Days, and even though it says in Planner the ticket requires a reservation, I’m not repurchasing the seat reservation? Just want to confirm:  I’ll show a conductor My Journey on that Day in the Eurail app and also then show him/her the seat reservation confirmation from that particular rail company?

Hi,I’ve already booked my Eurail Pass for my trip to Spain next month. Now I’m trying to book my seat reservations through Rail Europe. However, I noticed that the system never asks for my pass number. When booking, it only asks me to select the type of pass (Eurail or Interrail), and after I select Eurail Global Pass, it just asks for my ID number and personal details. Is this normal?Do they not ask for pass number?(Just want to double confirm)-For eg,this is the only details i have to include(including email+ number)

I am gearing up to activate my 2 month, 10 day Eurail pass for our 18 day whirlwind trip. The 11 month activation date deadline is in four days. Is there a problem if my day one on the Pass is not until October 8 yet the activation date is tomorrow, Sept 17?

I found it difficult to use the Eurail app after I bought my pass last October. Over the last months, I have booked 6 of my 10 days with RailEurope. Some trips were not bookable there so I've tried the Eurail app again. Come to find out even though I had my pass number I never had a copy of my pass. So I got that and activated it for the start of our month traveling. It occurs to me now that my mobile Eurail  pass needs to include the details of all 10 of my trips, whether booked through RailEurope, or Eurail, or some other line like Luzern-Interlaken.  Is that correct?  Any other thoughts for me would be greatly appreciated. I've probably taken over 30 hours trying to understand the whole procedure and book all my trips with seat reservations. Still not there.  Help!
