I will be travelling with another person (but not for a few months). I want to add that person to my trip on the app, but their pass isn’t added to the app because we don’t always want to travel together. But I can’t work out how to do it - the only person I can add to my trip on the app is me. I know it can be done quite easily on the website at interrail.eu, but how to do it on the app?Also I set up a test trip on the website (and added me and my fellow traveller) but it didn’t show up on the app, so they don’t seem to coordinate.

Hi everybody;Yesterday my phone broke apart and I had to buy a new one. Reading here on the community I've found that in order to use my pass on another device the Eurail team has to deactivate it from my other phone:At the moment I'm travelling, I'm on a bus and I have to catch a train where I booked a seat at 12:40, I desperately need my pass for that time. I've filed since yesterday to this morning 3 help request, two via the app and one via the website. I hope to have everything in order for that time or I'm going to be in big troubles! Hello,I want to buy a 3 day Ticket for Switzerland. It's supposed to be a present so the ticket will not be used before July 2023. However, I did not find any information on how long a paper based interrail Ticket is valid after purchase? Is it possible to buy it today and then has it in summer next year after July 2023? Can you help me out?  Thanks! 

Hi, I’ve sent an e-mail more than 2 weeks ago about my trip to Barcelona and probably ‘ve bought the wrong pass. Besides a confirmation of receiving my e-mail I still haven’t received an answer. By now I’ve also bought a global pass cause I thought at least than I can book my trainseats. But now still the texts ‘not available for some travellers’ and ‘pass not valid ‘ appear. So by now I have spent €440,- on passes and almost 3 weeks on searching, emailing and waiting and I still don’t have the traintickets I need (Nijmegen - Barcelona ) and vice versa. Can someone help me out? How on earth do I reach Interrails customer service??

Hi All!I lived in Australia for the last 5 years and I got my Permanent Residency 1 year ago.I came back for a long vacation in Europe and I want to make sure I can do Eurail pass instead of Interrail so I can travel in Italy as well (my country of origin).Just to clarify, I only own the Italian passport at the moment, is the Australian license enough to prove I am an Australian resident? Thanks! 

Hey Everyone!I have a question regarding the schedule shown on one of my tickets (that is a leg of the train trip from Prague to Amsterdam):In my reservation overview it says that my train leaves at 23.52 on August 1st, but my printed ticket says 00.01 on August 1st (that would be the day before).It also says it would arrive at 05:45 on August 2nd in the overview and the ticket has the same hour but the date is August 1st.Is there a number I can call to sort this out? Has it happened to any of you guys before?

I have booked for 6 people to go from Venice to Monterosso on 11th October 22.  There’s three legs -Venice - Florence (requires seat reservation)Florence - Viareggio (doesn’t require seat reservation)Viareggio - Monterosso (requires seat reservation)I was sent tickets via email for the 2 legs that require seat reservations but nothing for the second leg from Florence to Viareggio.  I don’t understand how I can board a train without a ticket?  This is very different to Australia and I’m so confused.  Thanks for your help in advance. 

I planned my journey today from Barcelona to my country, the Netherlands. I got the option if I was certain if I wanted to use my last inbound journey, which I agreed to.After the first train, I got stuck which meant I couldn't take the original train over the border to the Netherlands anymore. I had to book a different route, but now I can't activate my journey since it says I have no travels left.I tried to delete the original journey, but this had no effect. Has others had this, and what do I do if they check my interrail ticket? 

Hello community,  I failed my ferry reservations at helenic seaways and booked them in the wrong order. Does someone know how i can cancel the reservation? Further question: Does someone know if the highspeed routes are included without additional costs? Thanks for helping me out in advance. 

I am intending on heading to Rome on August 30th and was hoping to get a 7-day in one month Global Pass shipped to my address in Chicago before then.  However, I came upon a problem: they don't show an option for premium shipping.  I really want the pass to arrive within 8 days, but I am not sure what to do, as the alternative does not allow shipping until October.  I am planning on using the physical pass starting in early December.  Please advise!! 

I purchased a pass on April 2021, and due to Covid I delayed the trip (Interrail extended the validity until August 2022). Now, August 22, I logged in the app to see how I plan my trip, and I cannot add my pass. How can I solve this? I have also tried through the website, but the pass appears to be expired. Need help urgently, I planned to leave on August 28. Thank you.I've also written customer support and talked to the bot. It is a mobile interrail global pass.

I have purchased 2 Global paper pass, and am still awaiting delivery in the United States.  Apparently the shipment is still in U.S. Customs and has been there for nearly 2 weeks.  I am still a couple of months from traveling but just trying to my due diligence in case this pass doesnt show up. I did a search on this site, and it appears several people have had major delays in recieving the paper passes due to issues with U.S. Customs/Post Office.When I recieved confirmation of the purchase of my Global paper pass I recieved pass cover numbers so I could go ahead and reserve seats.  I have done that.  Used the Belgian Rail site and purchased a reservation on Eurostar from London to Paris, and on the TGV from Paris to Colmar, Fr,  I have printed hard copies of the reservations.If my paper passes do not arrive in time, I may be forced to purchase a Mobile Pass, and then try and process a refund for the paper passes I have not recieved.  If I end up purchasing a Mobile Pass, can I use tho

Hello friends! I have an urgent situation – when I booked my interrail pass, I mistakenly entered Germany as my country of residence as this is where I planned to depart from. My actual country of residence is UK. I only realised the mistake after starting my journey, and since I have already travelled through Germany twice, I cannot do so again, which will effectively ruin my trip!I have tried to reach out to customer support, but have not yet received any feedback.Can an Interrail/Eurail representative please get in contact with me. I am meant to travel tomorrow and need this problem fixed ASAP!Thanks in advance!   

Hi, does someone know why there are only 2 train directions on the interrail map to cornwall/south england? One from london to bristol an one to st. Ives. There are more trains running, can I take them or why are they not on the map?Thanks for your help.

Hi all!I bought my 1-month global pass on 10 May 2022, so I understand that I must activate it by 9 April 2023.I only want to travel for 3 weeks, so can I activate my pass from 9 April but make my first journey on 13 April?i.e. is there any requirement to travel on the ‘activation date’? Hi everyone,I have to ask a question. We are going to travel all around the north of Europe and finally we have almost everything booked. But we have one problem. We will be traveling also from Tornio Itainen to Helsinki (start 2.9. 22:16 → end 3.9. 10:45) - seat reservation required. This train is normally in railplaner app and I can also find it on eurail reservation system, but when I want to buy reservation, it writes to me this (viz added picture). Do you know why? Did sth like this happened to somebody?Than I checked the train on www.vr.fi and its completely empty. I also write on their customer service and there they told me, that only seat reservation without ticket I need to buy it through calling their service or in Helsinki train station (in where I am traveling, so I wont be able to buy it here). Did anybody had the same problem and solved it out somehow?Thanks a lot 

Hello, I am from Germany and I received a EU flex pass in April this year through the Discover EU program. Now I am planning on doing a trip next year in February or March. But the problem is that I am only allowed to activate my pass till January 29th 2023 according to the "Rail Planner" app. But as I got the pass in April 2022, shouldn’t I be able to activate it till Mai 2023, right? Even my travel buddy, with whom I registered at the same time, got it verified till Mai. 2023 Now I wondered whether this can even be correct and how this can be changed...?  Thanks in advance! Kind regards,Ilka Stein

Do we need to buy an extra ticket to use the ferry between pula and venice (company: direct ferries)? Or is there any way its included in our globalpass or can we get some discount at least?

I bought Eurail Pass from an agency.I have two versions of Eurail Pass as the second version was issued for correcting surname which was shorten the last 4 letters by an issuer of the original pass (it seems surname is too long).I have reserved tickets of high-speed train from original version of Eurail pass. However, the conductors will validate my high-speed train tickets and my second version of Eurail pass.I’d like to inquire if there will be any problem of unmatched name/QR code or anything at validation ?Thanks you.

I purchased 6 Global Passes for my family of 6.  When I did the math it made sense.  But then when it came to booking I realised that trains were not always going to be my best option.  I now think I’m better off cancelling my global pass as it’s $3600 AUD that I can put into our holiday.  My question is; with the 2 reservations I have made what happens to my reservations.  I still need to take those trips.Here’s what I booked:Paris to Barcelona - 1st October 22 @10.12am - I paid USD $232 for my 6 set reservations.London to Paris on the Eurostar - 28th September - I paid AUD $197.76What happens if I’m on the train and they ask to see my Global Pass and we don’t have one?  Is there a way to pay the difference without cancelling my tickets as they’ve already been posted out? Thanks in advance for your help. 

Hello !I wonder whether or not a travel in ferry is counted as “ a day” with a “10 days in 2 months” global Interrail Pass ? For instance, if we are in Bari (Italy) on July 13th and we go on Patras (Greece) on July 15th with no additional train this day, do we still have one day less due to this ferry trip?Thanks a lot in advance for your help !Sophie

Hello eveyone ! I struggle to know  whether or not i can exchange (cancel if needed) my return ticket / outbound (Strasbourg - paris).  On your website is written : "all seat reservations are subject to the refund policy of the individual railway company – you can review this before confirming your cancellation. Booking fees are non-refundable."I don't get if I can get reimbursed (i paid 20€) if i change my return ticket (location and date), and if yes, how ?SNCF told me : because you booked on another platform (interrail) we cannot see anything about your reservation, please reach Interrail team. Could you please enlighten me ?Thanks a lot !Sophie .

Trying to book the direct train (1hr 56min)  from Brig to Milano Centrale on Sept 13th - i see thats available the weeks after that but not on Sept 13th or the week before.  Can anyone tell me why its not available on that date or what the best way to get from Zermatt to Milano Centrale in the shortest time with the fewest transfers would be? We are a family of 4 adults and have a 1st class one month Eurail pass.  Thanks in advance.
