Hello everyoneToday, I planned to take the ICE between Liège and Brussels. Based on the information from the DB Navigator, the railplanner app and seat61, I assumed that reservations are optional.However, I encountered this information at Liège-Guillemins:So is SNCB spreading misleading information or are seat reservations indeed mandatory for domestic journeys?I had a similar experience two years ago where there were announcements about mandatory seat reservations in Austria at Bratislava Hl. St. which turned out to be nonsense.But today, I decided not to take the risk and used the hourly IC via Leuven. But does someone know if I would have come into trouble by taking the ICE? And what do you usually do in such situations? Have you also experienced similar things?Strange enough, the departure time on the DB navigator was wrong while the departure time on the railplanner app and at the station was correct.   Good morning everyoneI bought an Interrail pass for France and I’m trying to book my first trip from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel using the Rail Planner app, but I can’t manage to do it. When I try to book, it gives me three options and I click on the first one (Eurail) but when it redirects me to the website, I don’t see my pass linked. My travel companion managed to get a bit further with the booking and she gets a message saying “No prices were found. Reservations for pass holders may be sold out...”How can I or should I do this? It’s the first time I’m using these services  

Had a transfer from Milano P Garabaldi to Centrale during part of our trip. It was a multi-leg journey from Venice to London. Eurail gives suggests 20 minutes to transfer by public transport, which I feel is nowhere near enough. We had 23 minutes and before that trip I had researched both station layouts and pre-bought the train tickets. We had to get off the train as soon as possible, we wasted no time and walked as fast as we could without slowing down, managed to get on a metro train that arrived in a minute, and then walked all the way to our carriage, but decided to get on a few carriages earlier just to be safe. This was the latest we could’ve gotten there.I believe this trip should not be recommended or at least a warning / guide should be given. Had one thing gone wrong we would not have been able to make our train. This includes not knowing the directions and wasting time, not having bought the tickets beforehand, the metro train not arriving so soon and not hopping on an earl

I am midway through a 10-day Interrail pass and was looking at my statistics, but I noticed they are off. For example, it says that I have visited 5 out of 8 countries on my trip, but some of the countries it says I haven’t visited I have already departed from a week earlier! For example, on 30.06 I took a trip from Berlin Gesundbrunnen to Gdansk Glowny, but it says I haven’t been to Germany yet.I find it quite fun to look at my statistics at the end of a trip, but of course if they are incorrect it’s not worth much. Does anyone know why the app would not include certain countries/trains in the statistics? In addition, where can I report this error?

Hi everyone!I have a few questions about the Interrail Erasmus Pass that I couldn't fully figure out just by checking the website, so I’m hoping someone here can help.I’ve bought the Interrail Global Pass (4 travel days in 6 months) with the Erasmus discount, and I can activate it starting from September 1st.My first doubt is: Can I already book seat reservations now, before activating the Pass? For example, if I want to travel in mid-September or even later, can I reserve those trains in advance and activate the Pass only right before my first trip?Second question: since this Pass gives me 4 travel days, how exactly do I use the second travel day? Let’s say I travel on September 4th for the first time, and then again on December 20th – what do I need to do to prepare for that second travel day?Thanks in advance!

I plan to travel with a interrail pass in the North of Sweden in the first half of August and then travel to Norway via the Östersund – Storlien - Trondheim line. I have not yet decided about the exact dates. On weekends in the first half of August there are two trains operated by Vy Norrtåg between Östersund and Storlien, where I can connect to a SJ Norge train. Tuesday through Friday (with the exceptions of August 1st) the only Vy Norrtåg train Östersund – Storlien is train 7510 departing in Östersund at 16.33 hours. On Friday, August 1st and on the following Mondays, August 4th, 11th and 18th in addition to train 7510 also train 7500, departure time in Östersund 7.24 runs to Storlien. That is the information one can find on the travel planners of ÖBB and DB. Looking on the travel planner of interrail.eu for e.g. Wednesday, August 6th it says train 7500 is running, no reservation needed or even possible. When trying to make a booking (and not finalizing it) on sj.se I get train 7500

Hello Community, You’ve been very helpful in the past, so maybe again.I’m planning to travel from the continent to London and back on the Eurostar. Unfortunately I will only know for definite late next week if I can travel. However, I need to book seats very soon as there are very few left on the days we wish to travel. If I buy my Eurorail ticket and then book the seats, I know my seat reservations are non refundable. However, if I can’t travel at all can I get the full refund for the 5 day ticket? Obviously within the 7 day limit?Thank you in advance for your help.RT

HI ,I want to travel from Innsbruck to Florencein one day,  but I can only book the train seat from Bolzano Italy. Which I have booked, if I miss the connection that I booked can I just catch the next train or do pay for another seat reservation ?  Please advise

My wife and I have purchased two One Country Eurail passes for Italy.  We are arriving on August 18 and our passes have been activated with a start date of August 18. Our first travel date will be August 19 from Rome to Naples.  When I go on the Eurail website or the Eurail Mobile App, I can view trains departure times from Rome and I see seat reservation prices.  But when I select one of the reservation times, the web page changes the reservation to a Global Pass rate which is much higher.  I don’t understand why this is happening. I put in a support email to Eurail but who knows when they will reply.Anyone out there having the same problem?  If so let’s hear from you.  Thank you.

Coucou je pars pour 2 semaines à Berlin Prague et Budapest avec mes amis du 4 août au 16 août. J’ai réussis à réserver sans problème les trains jusqu’à Budapest mais pour le retour à Paris impossible des réserver les places. A chaque fois que je rentre toute les informations de ma carte bancaire et que je valide un message s’affiche le disant qu’une erreur inconnue est survenue. On me propose d’attendre 15 minutes et de recommencer plus tard mais ça fait trois jours que j’essaye trois jours que le résultat et le même. Ça vous ai déjà arrivé et comment avez vous fait pour réserver vos trains ?

I have been trying to book from Paris to London for the 18th of July to get there and come back on the 19th of July but when I try to buy seat reservation it says: Seat reservations requiredYou need to buy a seat reservation to board.No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable. what should I do 

The Eurail app will not let us make a seat reservation. We have been trying for our entire trip. We had similar problems last year, but could eventually do it. Now it will not let us at all. We have had to book through the railways and pay full price. It has made the pass almost entirely useless.

So let's say that in Rail Planner I generate a ticket for Berlin to Amsterdam. It creates a ticket for this that uses two trains with a transfer in Hanover. The train from Hanover to Amsterdam (the second train on the ticket) requires a seat reservation.So what happens if the first train (Berlin-Hanover) is late and I miss the Hanover-Amsterdam train. The next train also requires seat reservations. Because I had a seat reservation for an earlier train that I missed through no fault of my own, am I able to jump on the next train and stand near the door (if there are no seats)?If I cannot board the second train without a reservation, and one is not available because the Interrail quota is already used up, then am I just left stranded at the train station?How can we prepare for this? What are the best practices? Do we have to get "backup" secondary reservations "just in case"?

I have a reserved on tgv oui, i want to cancel that to take another one. I am still ot sure tough, when the eurail site say that will check with the ompany if it is possible to cancel the trip, would it do automatically or it will leave me choice?thanks,regards 

THIS IS AN URGENT SITUATION PLEASE HELP!!!I am travelling from London tomorrow but am unable to activate my pass. I bought an interail global promo youth pass at the beginning of this month. When I try to activate it, it says the nearest date I can activate it is the 30th August. This is clearly a mistake as on the website it states you can activate your mobile pass as soon as you have purchased it. Your help is massively needed as I am extremely stresssed as this is the only time of the next 2 years where I will be able to have a full month of travel and have been looking forward to this for months and simply cannot miss this trip. I’ve just booked the night train from Paris Austerlitz to Nimes. I have a 2nd class 4 day interrail pass but I would like to get a bed in one of the cabins on the night train. How do I upgrade? 

I accidentally pressed to activate a travel day today and so the app moved the start date today when my trip starts on july 30th, and it doesn’t late me change it anymore. I already wrote to the assistance, I know u can not change it but maybe they can do something cause I really pressed by accident. Did anyone have any similar experience? 

I have scheduled the activation of my pass from 13th of July to 3rd of August and i got an email today (10th of july) that says my pass was activated, why? Someone with knowledge about this please help me 

Hi,My eurostar train reservation made through the interrail website has been cancelled, I was notified by Eurostar and given the option to rebook, I have rebooked my ticket on the Eurostar app for another time tomorrow (Fri 11th) but the reservation is not showing on the reservations overview on the Interrail website. Is my reservation still going to work?I'm concerned as I couldn't see any through the Interrail website as it said it was full for pass holders but could through the Eurostar one.

I have our passes and reservations for all planned trips during our vacation. The first place that we will interact with the system is to acquire tickets from Schirphol Airport to Rotterdam Centraal (reservations are not available). Do the kiosks accept my pass on my mobile phone to dispense the tickets?

Hi everyone,I accidentally activated my Interrail Global Pass with the wrong dates: June 6 to July 5, but I actually meant to travel from July 6 to August 5.I haven’t used any travel days yet (0/7 used) and haven’t added any trips.My pass expires today (July 5) and I’m supposed to start my trip tomorrow, July 6.I already contacted Interrail support, but I’m very anxious because it’s urgent.Has anyone had a similar experience?
