8 family members are using 5 Global Pass days to travel. Is it best to use one Rail Planner app on one phone and set all travel passes on the one phone? Or should each person download Rail Planner app and set up their individual trips?

If I have a pass with 5 travel days, do the first train ride out of my home country and the last train ride back to my home country count? Would I have to use 2 of the 5 travel days for them?  I’d be so thankful for any help, somehow I can’t find this info on the official website anymore :)

I have a global pass with no activation date but it say it must be activated before 04 Dec 2020. Some passes were extended another year due to COVID19. I dont know if my pass is one of them

Hi, my family is planning a trip in summer 2022. Since Eurail pass has 11 months after purchase to activate, can I buy a 10 days 2 months pass now (July 18 2021) and activate before June 18 2022 and use the pass till Aug 17, 2022?Thanks for your help.

My phone is broken. My pass has been activated but not used. So how to change the device of my pass

I’m trying to make a reservation for:BRUXELLES-MIDI (Belgium) to PARIS NORD (France) THA 9412 - THALYSthere is a reservation needed but the railplanner says ‘no price results were found for this connection. Please try searching again or find an alternative way to book.’ What can I do? I can’t find another way to book this with my Interrail pass.

Hello. Please help me. Some journeys that are in an app tab “My Trip” and they are added to Pass are not shown on the ticket in tab “My Pass”. I am afraid of not valid ticket. See pictures. Only one of journeys showed there but when I tried before 3 of 4 journeys showed there.Thank you very much. Adam

Hi, I am traveling with my boyfriend, we bought the passes separate but we want to do the seat reservation together to get consecutive chairs. We tried adding each other to the trip, but the option got block, How can we do it?'

Hi, after updating the app the mobile pass is no longer present and I can't add it!  I leave tomorrow, ho can i do??

Help!I'm travelling together with my sister. She's going to continue travelling for six weeks but when she opened the app today, her pass did not appear on the app.Re-adding the pass doesn't work, nor does installing the app on her other phone (as it's registered as already being added on a device). We've tried to email, call to various phone numbers, use the automated Interrail service and their messenger contact but we don't know what to do.

I have a big problem. My pass is not showing in the app and I need this pass today.

Hi everyone ! :) I tried to contact consumerservice and they are absolutly unreachable and I have an urgent request. I bought a new phone for my trip, but my pass has been activated on the old one. How can I transfer it to my new one? I have already installed the app on the new one, but the pass does not work. Do I have to delete the app of my old phone?Thank you so much for your help!!

After updating my Rail Planner App my Mpass is lost as well as all my data. If I try to add my Mpass again by using my activation code I constantly get an error. I see a lot of people on this topic/in this community having the same problem as me. I am currently traveling with a friend from Holland, Utrecht to Germany, Berlin. I do not have a valid ticket and now a consider buying a new Interrail ticket. Does anyone know if you can get a refund for the extra ticket I had to buy, because it was not my fault but a bug in the app. I think they will respond to all my emails next week but unfortunately that is to late because I am already travelling. Anyone else with this problem?

Salve, la mia applicazione ha sbagliato ilgiorno di attivazione del Pass. Il mio viaggio inizia il 31 luglio ma l’applicazione rail planner indica oggi 15 luglio come giorno di inizio. Come faccio a cambiarlo? Grazie anticipatamente

Heyyyy,I’m glad you found your way to my question :)A few days ago I have bought the interrail pass “22 days - each day travelling” and I wonder if I can use a train on the 22nd day over night. In other words, the train will arrive on the next day, the 23rd but departs on the 22nd.Do you know if this is possible?Greetings from Austria

Can I make a seat reservation online BEFORE I activate my pass on my mobile device?

Bonsoir!

Hi, we want to take the night train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi for which a reservation is required. When I choose the connection on interrail.eu there’s only one possibility (“IRT 2 class” for 24€). I suppose that this is the price for a normal seat. However we prefer to have our own compartment. I had a look at the VR website. There you can choose such a cabin for 179€. Unfortunately we haven’t found a way that  “interrail” is taken into account. That’s why I have these questions:Is there a way to book a reservation for a cabin on interrail.eu? Is there a way to get the cabin cheaper with the “interrail-code” on the VR website? Or do we have to pay the full price without using our Interrail Pass? Greetings from GermanyHagen & Nadine

I have a Masters degree but I am really struggling to work out how to use the online app for my mobile pass. It doesn’t seem intuitive at all. What is the difference between a trip and a journey, for example? How do I add journeys/trips to my pass? Why do I need to duplicate trips to add them for my family? I thought I had added the first day and I can see the tickets there but today I am getting repeated notifications telling me my first travel day is tomorrow but I haven’t added any journeys. I don’t understand. As we leave in the morning I’m worried we’ll be getting on the train without a valid ticket. Is there some clear information somewhere or someone who can help, please? I really wish I’d just bought a paper pass, good old fashioned paper and pen I understand. Thank you!

Hello all, I have read a lot of information on using the mobile app and occasionally see a reference to certain trains required printed reservations and/or tickets so my question is: Will I ever need to print either a ticket or reservation? if I do have to print one, how will I be able to print?  Thanks again for the expertise of all who are far more knowledgeable than me. 😃Glenn

Hello Fellow Travelers!I am having difficulty finding a quick train ride from Florence to Venice for September 24th both on Eurail and Trenitalia. Would you happen to know if train schedules will be updated or the reason for this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, is it possible in Italy and Switzerland to make seat reservations directly at the desk at the train station right before departure? thank you :)

Hello,I’m planing on traveling from Paris to Milan then travel more or less a month in Italy and then get back to France. Hence i want to  buy a GLOBAL  interrail pass of 10 days for 2 month to get to Italy and then travel within Italy. But I was wondering : can I travel within Italy with a GLOBAL pass or do I need to buy a separate ITALY interrail pass ? Will the global pass only work when I m crossing a border or can I also use it to travel within  a country ? Best, Mathilde
