Hi everyone,I have a couple of quick questions regarding how the Leaderboard works in this community: Is there an overview available showing how many points you earn per specific action (such as creating a post, replying, or receiving a like)? Are there any prizes or rewards for reaching the top spots on the leaderboard? Thanks in advance!

Why are budget trains -- like flixtrain, govolta, ouigo -- not included in interrail?It seems counterintuitive, if they have the lowest running costs I would expect them to be the easiest to include because what interrail pays should be ample for them if it is enough for premium operators? It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Hi, In the interrail planner it says that there are no more available seats for the eurostar from Paris to Amsterdam on this date, but in raileurope the seat still looks available. Is this possible? Or will I get an error later or have to stand?The times are also off by 5 minutes but I assume that’s a glitch.  

Hello!Interrail just announced relay strike action that will impact rail networks across the Netherlands on the 9th, 13th and 15th of September which affect my travels and I don’t know what to do now and need advice.Interrail states: “There will be no trains throughout the Netherlands on these days.” On the 9th I’ll travel from Berlin to Amsterdam, will this also be cancelled, how do I know?On the 15th I’ll travel from Amsterdam to Paris and the Thalys website does not state that these trains are cancelled (only a few due to construction), so how do I know if it is cancelled or not? 

Hi. Just looking for a bit of help. I am leaving today but my husband has had to delay his departure until tomorrow unfortunately. I have tried to move his active pass to his phone this morning but it doesn’t give me an option to move pass as I think it should for. It just says this pass is active on another device. Go back or contact us. Others talk about the option to move it. What am I doing wrong??? Thank you 🙏 

Cuando planifico mis días de viaje en la app, en cada tramo de tren me aparece “Está listo para abordar”, “Puedes comprar una reserva de asientos si lo deseas, pero no es obligatorio” o bien “Este es un tren popular. Se recomienda hacer reserva de asientos, pero no es obligatorio”. Mi duda es (sobretodo cuando aparece la segunda o tercera frase) si puede que el tren esté completo y no dejen subir a pasajeros sin reserva o bien, como en nuestros trenes de cercanías, siempre queda la posibilidad de viajar de pie. 

  I can't add travels to my pass but it still has 4 travel days last, im travelling with my card that I was able to win trough discover eu, but today I was sitting at the trainstation and it kept saying "please try again or contact customer service if it keeps happening"I have contacted them but have read that it can take days for them to reply. And know im a little shaken up because im in the middle of nowhere in austria alone at a random trainstation

Im stuck in austria, I cant use my travel days it keeps saying try again contact customer service but im at a trainstation in austria in the middle of no where, and I already contacted them but it said it can take couple of days, but what about my trip, next week im starting school again so im kinda scared that im gonna be stuck here, someone that knows anything please help!

I booked Carcassonne to Zurich through rail planner and the reservations.  I had a hotel that I couldn't cancel in Zurich.The SNCF train was late on first part, but SNCF cannot help as the tickets weren't booked by the Rail Planner App as one journey. Has anyone foubfmd a solution.  It looks like I'll lose the reservations for trains i can't now make today and the hotel.  The activities I had booked on Zurich may also be lost. Total cost £250+.  Has anyone had any luck with claiming a rebate.  The ticket office in Toulouse (en route)  saud SNCF wll find me a hotel.  This now doesn't look true.

Hi everyone,we are currently traveling back to Germany (home country) by night train and didn’t realize that the app uses this journey as an inbound travel although the first stop in Germany is after midnight. Now we can’t change the journey anymore and have used an inbound ticket, but we still have to travel in Germany the next day to get back to our hometown. Does anyone know how we can fix the problem or if the conductor will let us go in the next train without a ticket?  Thanks :)

Hi there!I’m a first-time interrailer, planning to cross from Ancona to Split by overnight ferry in about a month’s time. While I have travelled on ferries before, I’ve never slept on one, so I have a couple of questions:When going through the reservation process, I noticed that I could either book an internal cabin for EUR100 (pre-discount), or a “Poltrona” for EUR10. Now, google translate returns “armchair”, but that only tells me so much. I’m picturing something like an airline seat, in which a frugally-minded traveller could sleep with the use of a neck pillow or something similar. How accurate is this picture, and is this something people do on overnight ferries like this, or will I stick out like a miserly sore thumb? How often are ferries like this delayed or cancelled? I was running my plan past Mum and she pointed out that this connection in particular is a significant point of failure. Dear forum,In the beginning of August I plan to go from germany (preferably Braunschweig) to Riga in Latvia with the mobile eurail global pass. However, I do not find Riga as station listed in the New version of the app. It seems that this is a common problem as the Baltic companies do not fully cooperate with the creators of the app in supplying their time schedules. Some previous notes say that one is supposed to manually add train connections to the app. However, I do not find a way to do that in the newest version of the app, as one simply is not able to chose a destination. Hi. UK passport holders but resident in France. We are planning a journey that would start from France into Switzerland and end entering France from the UK. Would a Eurostar train direct from , say, Brussels  (but transiting through France) mean we are breaking the rules?

Hello, I’m still planning our trip and hoping someone can help again! We are 2 seniors and plan to travel from Newcastle to Lucca via London, Lille, Avignon, Lucca, Milan, Lille, London Newcastle. I plan on buying 5 day  Interail Global Plus Pass tickets. Will these tickets include seat reservation costs or will we still have to pay a reservation fee for our seats?

I am booking a train from Paris to Valence d'Agen, which requires seat reservation, when I arrive at Paris on plane on the same day. I am afraid if the flight is delayed then I will not be able to catch the train. Should I:Book the train and pay for seat reservation now Do not book the train until flight is confirmed to be on time for the train scheduleI have a feeling that A is a better option, but what if I do miss my train? Will I have to pay for seat reservation again?

My travel plans have changed and I need to cancel several seat reservations made through Interrail, most notably the night sleeper Zurich/Budapest, in both directions (single person room) and the night sleeper Budapest/Bucharest both directions (couchette).The “Exchange and refund conditions for reservations” page gives information on this, but no links on how to actually do it! Can you help please? Thanks.

Hello, I would like to travel from lorient to varenna tomorrow and be there the next day on the 17th early if possible but when i check to book it says there is no trains that are available it's all fully booked, so far on this journey i paid extra for making certain routes with uber alternative bus and so on, could you give me an alternative travel with bus or something for free since i already have the interail and need to get to varenna on the 17th or what can you help to do

It is very confusing, it says ‘ticket is valid for section of the journey only’ I don’t understand if I can book this with an Interrail pass or can just hop on board without the reservation? Anyone that had this before?  

A couple of questions. Every single train I’m trying to book from Offenburg Germany to Bern Switzerland on 10-3-26 says this. I have a global pass. I’m only trying to book a seat to guarantee I can get on a train. What do I do now?Also, I read somewhere on a forum on here that unless a reservation is compulsory I can just hop on the train and show my pass. Is this true? How does the individual train company get paid for the trip?Any insight would be awesome. I’m really stressing over this and I know it can’t be that hard.  Although it would definitely help if I was a little more technologically literate.🤪
