Unable to book a seat reservation on the interrail website or through SNCF for the first Paris to Barcelona service tomorrow. Worst case scenario is it possible to stand on this train?

Hello! I've been trying to find 5 tickets from Goteborg/Malmo (both in Sweden) to Stockholm on the days Thursday 4th and Friday 5th, but it seems there aren't ANY trains available. Plus, it appears the message below while trying to book. I know it is too close to the date of the journey, but it feels odd to me the complete lack of journeys. Any ideas or clues? Hi, I have a Global Pass.  I lost my phone and cant get my hands on a new one right away. Im already travelling. Now i try to get to show my pass through my interrail account online, but that doesnt seem to be possible. Then i tried adding my pass on another mobile phone of a friend, but it said that my pass is already activated on another device. But that device is lost, so I really dont know what to do... even if get a new phone, my pass is already added to another device (my lost phone).   I feel im really out of options... Im very far from home and dont seem to be able to acces my pass, even though i have my account and pass number. What should i do? Please help me out, im sorry to say but starting to feel desperate :( Thanks in advance, Samu

I am taking the sleeper from oslo to bergen next week and made a reservation via Interrail reservation service. After receiving the reservation via postal service I saw that I received two compartments (each for one or two passengers). We are only two passengers traveling, so one compartment would be fine.I made a call to vy (norwegian railway) and they told me to write an email. After one week I got the response that they haven’t made the booking so I should reach to the place where I made it to get a refund.On the interrail page it says, that it takes long to respond and online I can only delete the whole booking instead of just one compartment. What would you recommend to do? - What way of reaching to interrail would you suggest?I somehow think that I can not cancel one compartment. I double checked the interrail reservation page and did not see an option to choose how many compartments should be booked (see image). I think it would be good if it would be possible on the reservation

Hi dear Interrail Community,I have a question regarding the seat Reservation. Does an not taken Reservation still take one Day off my interrail pass? Or does it only count as one Day of my pass if I really take the train?Thanks for your answers !Hanna  

We want to travel from Zagreb to Split on the 07:35 train on 2nd July. In the Interrail reservation tool it’s saying reservations are required, but it won’t let me make a reservation. I get the same message if I search for the same journey on different days and at different times. Does this mean all the seats are reserved on all the trains?! Or will I be able to reserve seats at Zagreb Station when we arrive a couple of days before? Thanks for your help. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.

I am a French citizen but who moved to Switzerland to live. France is entered as my residence country on my mobile pass, and I should be travelling by the end odf the week. I would like to change the residence country as Switzerland. I haven’t had an answer from the customer service. Can anybody help me or does anybody know what I can do ?  Thank you so much !

Hi there,I booked an interrail pass during the flashsale yesterday and have the following problem now: I was going to buy two passes, one for my friend (the one-month pass) and one for myself (the-two months pass). Apparently I was too excited and accidentally booked the one-month pass for myself instead of my friend. I am aware that sale passes are non-refundable, otherwise I would have just cancelled and bought both passes with the correct names.But I have read that customer service can change incorrect information on the pass before activation so I assume this includes the name? Does anyone have experience with this? I’ve been waiting for an answer from customer service about this and have no idea how long this will take. It’s a little urgent as the sale ends in a couple of days and now I have been waiting to book the two-months because I first wanted to be sure that I can get the name changed on the pass I already booked.Please help!:D

I want to go from Madrid to Toulouse. It says you can book a reservation by calling 72 hours before the train leaves until 24 hours before the train leaves. I will be stuck in Madrid if I can not get a reservation. How likely is it that I can book this train? Or will I get stuck even if I call 72 hours beforehand?

Dear Community, I bought your ticket for traveling around Europe. So I had planned my trip and booked seats in trains. En los trenes que figura "Reserva de asientos no requerida" cómo funciona? Puedes entrar sin hacer ninguna reserva? es por orden de llegada? La entrada al tren está asegurada? 

Buenos días, En septiembre voy a hacer un interrail a Italia. Mi pregunta es que si con el Global Pass y saliendo desde Barcelona me contaría como día de viaje o contaría como viaje de entrada y salida. Es decir, si el trayecto: Barcelona- Milán- Florencia- Roma- Milán- Barcelona, contaría como 6 días de viaje?

Hi there, I have reserved tickets from paris to barcelona and they are paper, so they are sent to my house in Australia. It looks like now I won’t be in australia when the tickets arrive, so I was wondering if it’s possible to divert them to my AirBnb address in Paris? It appears PostNL hasn’t received the shipment yet, so I’m hoping there’s still a chance. PostNL said to ask the sender to redirect, but it looks like Eurail aren’t responding to questions quickly enough… What can I do? Thanks in advance,David

I’ve lost my paper reservation ticket for Barcelona to Paris.I’m not getting a response from Interrail after contacting them over 2 days agoI have the Interrail booking number on my app showing it’s paid. I tried the SNCF office in Cannes but they cannot find me in their system I’m going to try Renfe when I get to Barcelonait really shouldn’t be this difficult in a digital system…

I made my seat reservations yesterday through the eurail website. I can‘t See my reservations in the reservation overview on the app though. And I didn‘t receive a confirmation email either, just my paypal bill.

I wish I’d bought reservations for all French express trains, even trips where the planner makes it uncertain if one will be needed. I had to buy separate tickets because all the Interrail reservations were gone, even though there were plenty of places on the train.Seems like a bit of a scam…it adds a lot to some journeys as the reservations are for each leg.

My group and I received the interrail pass and we try to plan our trip so we can book accommodation and etc. However, we could not find connections from Lisbon to other destinations in Europe. We have already tried Irun, Hendaye and Madrid, which were the ones recommended for us to start, but it always appears as unavailable. At the stations we are told that there are no trains outside of Portugal.Can you give us some kind of tip or place to go?

Hi,I am a uk resident.I want to buy a 3 month interail pass.My first Journey is going to be from london to Germany between 1st June to 5th June.Then I want to travel again from london to Amsterdam from 15th June to 18th June And then in august from london to Paris.Am I allowed to take multiple journey in an out of my residence country for different trips in a different point in time ?

Hello!I’ve had a look on threads but most of them are for other types of trains!I have a interrail global mobile pass and I’m travelling from London to Amsterdam with Eurostar, with a change being with Thalys at Brussels.While I was booking/reserving the seats it was saying that I need to print it at home?but I’ve received both of them via e-tickets so do I not need to print them or do they need to check it alongside my interrail pass on the app? If I buy a continuous pass for one month and name a starting date, is it ok for me to make my first trip after the starting date (though within the month of validity)?
