Hello I bought a reservation ticket from London to Paris a day later then when I was supposed to leave. When I look on the Eurail website it looks like all trains are booked up. Is it possible to exchange my ticket?

Hello everyone! I would like to know if there is a time when you can take the train without it counting as a day of the Interrail Global pass? 

I bought my interrail pass for one month of unlimited travel on May 11th. Do I understand correctly that I can activate it until April 11th 2023, but then choose a starting date in the future for example, June 20th 2023 and travel until July 20th?

Hi! Looking to buy a eurail greek islands pass (4 days). My paper pass will not arrive in time and I wanted to confirm that I could use my mobile pass solely. The checkout will not give me the option to add mobile pass.

 So I understand that we only have one inbound and one outbound journey. It says on a website that it doesn’t matter how many travel you do as long as it is within 1 day of travel. I’m from Scotland so obviously I need to get to Scotland from London. As I see my app allow me to take train at 23:30 from London. But will my pass still count if the travel is over night? I mean won’t that be a problem later on in a train? Can I actually do that this way? 

Hey guys, I just got my pass and activated it on the mobile app. I want to make a seat reservation but the app says I have to log in to on the web ( which my web account is not linked to my pass even though it’s the same email , is there a way to link?), and then when I go on the web it tells me to make a reservation through the app. So I can’t do it either way. This is for Italian trains.

Hi, I’m using Eurail Pass and I want to go to Hamburg from Copenhagen.On the mobile app(rail planner), they don’t say this connection needs reservation. However when I search by website, it shows me I need a reservation.Does anybody knows which one should I follow?The train connection I want to use is IC. 

Hello folksThis August is going to be my first time interrailing. I have a one way plane ticket from Stockholm to Gdansk, and I am planning to travel around Europe from there.I was looking into night trains available from Poland. Interrail website says you can travel from Warsaw to Budapest/Prague/Vienna. However, I was not able to find any night train tickets on the ÖBB website nor the interrail website to make a reservation. Are these trains going during August? How do I make the reservation and find the tickets? Are there any other destinations available by night trains from Poland?All help would be really appreciated :) 

Hi! I wanted to travel yesterday from Brussels tot Brzeg. But, in Germany there was 45 minutes delay and in a later train 10 minutes. So I missed some connections and the las train tot Brzeg that day. I ended in Poznan. I read that I don’t need to use another ‘travel day’ if you lost your connections due to delays. But How do I need to do this practical?

Despite many posts on this forum saying not to worry about train reservations booking out (and Seat61 saying the same thing) it looks like trains are booking out this summer and I can’t get the specific train I want.  I was hoping to catch the 7AM FR from Roma Termini to Naples Centrale on 28 July 2022. OBB says tickets not available and the next high speed train is at 8AM which does have tickets available. However, when I look at Trenitalia or ItaliaRail there is an FR at 6:50AM. This train does not show on OBB nor on Eurail. I cannot see a way to use my Eurail pass to book this 6:50AM train on Trenitalia or ItaliaRail.  Is there any way I can book this 6:50AM FR using my Eurail pass and paying only the 10EUR reservation fee rather than having to buy a regular ticket via Trenitalia or ItaliaRail? Thanks!  

I’ll be travelling tomorrow the 14th June from Berlin to Gdansk; I’ve checked and there are still available tickets and plenty available seats! However I’m not able to able to just book a seat reservation online on PKPs website, I also can’t book a seat reservation via DB’s hotline as they would have to mail it to my address, which won’t work in this case. My last option is to get a seat reservation via DB ticket centres (Reisezentrum), however this too seems to not work at the moment as the person working there did not manage to get a seat reservation (seems to be impossible both for tomorrow and any other day in the coming weeks). So now I am a bit clueless of what to do? Cos officially it should definitely be possible to get a seat reservation via the DB ticket centres? What are my options tomorrow?  

Sorry if this is a silly question - i have brought my interail pass a few months ago for 3 months global pass.My first train i go on using my interail pass is the end of July, if i register my pass on the app now, will my 3 months begin? Obviously i want my 3 months to start from end of July but i’m worrying about trains not having reservations by then!Getting a bit confused with how it works - any advice is appreciated!!

Im travelling europe and will end in Nice. Im trying to reserve a train journey (Nice-Stockholm) so i can travel home to Stockholm and be home by July 24th. When i try to reserve it says "prices unavailable temporarily" and has done so for many days now. How do i reserve seats? Does this mean there are no seats left? We are two people traveling.

Hello, everyone. I am trying to make a reservation train from Paris Gare De Lyon station to Barcelona-Sants with a Eurail pass 1st class tickets at 7/23 and the Departure time is 10:10(TGV 9713). But I cannot make a reservation because a delivery post could not arrive before I get on the train. I try to call SCNF (00 33 1 84 94 3635), reply that they couldn’t answer the call.Is there any way to make a reservation for this train? 

Good morning, trying my luck here too after contacting the customer service yesterday – my phone has crashed few days ago, leaving me with no choice than to reset it to the original setting. I had to download again all my apps back - however, yesterday when opening the Eurail app and adding the pass back, it says that “this pass is already activated on another device” and I’m not able to use it at all.I’m supposed to travel friday morning and just incredibly anxious that we won’t be able to go because of that. Is there anyone that can help me? Many thanks! 

Hello everyone !  I am having an hard time trying to book an Eurostar from Amsterdam to London with my Interrail Second Class Global Pass. Surprinsgly, it shows on the website that there is still seats available for the journey on the 3th of July, leaving at 01:15 pm and arriving at 05:00 pm.  However when I try to book it on the website, I cannot get past the “Review your order” moment, where it tells me that “Please try to find an alternative connection. The unavailable leg will be removed from your cart". Same thing on the b-europe website, where the train is also available, but when I try to book I have this red message :  I have tried calling the number but no answer for now. I am really really relying on this precise ticket so it would mean the world if someone could help me.  Thank you for your time and have a nice day. 

Goodevening to everyone,I’ve decided to open a new thread after reading several other ones.I’m going to have a little trip starting from Italy and going to Istanbul and return this Summer.The problem is, finding reservation for nightrains from Budapest to Bucarest is impossible via Eurail website/app: sometimes they’re not available, sometimes they are but they are paper ones and it takes too long to be delivered.A similar thing happens when I have to book seats for Bucarest-Istanbul night train: no seats available, or I have to make reservations but there isn’t any prompt to proceed to do so.I’ve read that is almost always better to make reservations not using Eurail app.My questions are:Why is the app not functioning? Are the seats likely sold out or is an internal issue?​​​​​​ For a future journey: should I book seats MUCH more in advance? I can reserve tickets online using railways websites, I know, but are they more expensive than the ones I could (not in this case, obviously) res

Hi,I'm trying to book a trip from Budapest to Videle, but the only option is to be sent by post. And when I try to book it says that ghd simulation don't think I can receive the tickets on time (eventhough it's for early August, so in more than a month), so I can't book. Also not working when I choose an expedition directly to Budapest.Any idea?Thanks

Hi community!I get this text when i shall activate pass; “change your first travel day up to until midnight the day before”does this mean i have to set the date one day before my actual first travel day?Anyone? 

Greetings,Used tickets.oebb.at to get by night train all the way from Zurich, through Budapest (Hungary), to Bucuresti (Romania) with the goal to reach Istanbul.  However, having issues trying to figure out how to get to Istanbul from Bucuresti.  Would love to take a night train from anywhere (Sofia to Istanbul, etc), however if not an option a day and multi-day trains are absolutely welcome.  We love trains so do not mind an adventure (have wife and kid with us so sleeping in a hotel/motel, train station probably no go).. Any suggestions how to book? Any cities to which Istanbul trains are confirmed to run? Any problems booking in person at the train station (if the only option) and return trip back from Istanbul?Any other advise, links, etc?  I’ll search in the meantime as it appears the topic is popular - no luck so far though getting an answer.  Eurail.com does not appear to work to search for Istanbul train tickets.. Thanks!George

trying to plan a trip with Trip Planner however Planner won’t accept French stations Aix-en-Provence or Sarlat.  Both stations are on the SNCF network and are reasonable size tourist destinations.  Can anyone explain why I can’t add these stations to my trip plan?  Thank you.

Can I book a train resv. without booking a seat so that I know I can get on if train is full?

I find the itinerary I want and there are no seat resv. required, but there is nothing to click on to book the trains I want.   It just says view cart at the end, but since no $ because I have the global pass the view cart is not lit up to click.  So how do I book this ?  

I tried to reservate a ticket for the Route from Bergen to Oslo on August the 4th at 1:49pm.I tried to contact the Entur Hotline but no one is entering the Phone. I already paid over 10€ for calling the Hotline.Now I tried to reservate a seat reservation at the Interrail website. But when I’m entering my adress (I also tried an adress in Norway) it always says that my order will not arrive on time. In my oppinion there is enough time till august the 4th.
