I initially put in the 6th July as my start travel date but then changed it to 5th July. Now I am trying to book seat reservations for a trip I’d like to take on 5 July and the page keeps coming up with ‘Your pass is not valid on this day’. How can I make the system realise I’ve changed my travel date so I can reserve the seats?!

Hello everybody,I wanted some clarification on the rules of night trains.I have a flexi 7 days on a month Global pass and I plan to take a trip Berlin - Amsterdam starting early in the morning, visit Amsterdam quickly and on the same day in the evening before midnight, go elsewhere.As long as you take the train that leaves Amsterdam in the evening before midnight (with a seat reservation obv), without changing trains, are there any limits on the arrival time the next day?Obviously intended using only one travel day.This is because I would like to avoid using two days of travel and take advantage of the departure before midnight.Could you please tell me something more about?THANKSS!!

Hello!When I search for Prague - Liberec in the Rail Planner app it tells me “Not in pass network”. When I search in the seat reservation search, it tells me no seat reservation is required and that I’m ready to board.How can I know which of these are correct? See images below where search results are shown from both places, the same departure, but with the difference described above.Kind regardsPatrik Stenmark

Hi guys!We wanted to start on August 20 from Munich Hbf. to Paris Est, but seat reservation is only possible from France (Strasbourg). For the train from Munich, the message "It looks like parts of this journey can't be booked with us even though they require reservations." always appears. However, the train can also not be reserved via Deutsche Bahn, neither online nor at the counter. So do you not need a reservation for the TGV for the German section of the route? Thanks for your help! 

I have already made seat reservations for 2 trains but want to shorten my Eurail pass from 7 to 4 days of travel, will I lose seat reservations?

I will be traveling in the next weeks in Austria (I am from Canada, dont realy know how trains work). I want to know if I need to book train tickets right now or just a few days before travelling is ok. Also do I need to reserve seats ? I find information online that it should not be required but it is all pre-covid and I want to make sure it’s still valid. I will be doing Wien to Schladming 13 of July, Schladming to Innsbruck 16 of july and Innsbruck to Langem am Arlberg 18 of july. Thanks !

I have made a reservation for amsterdam berlin, I have filled in billing details and now want to click through to ‘continue to travelers details’.  But that does not work the button does not respond.

Hello! I actived my Interrail pass today and started the outbound travel, but when I want to get my train tickets, they don’t show up, even though my travel is “actived”. Can someone help me or has had a similar problem???

Hi, we are currently on day 1 of our 1 month interrail pass but on one of our mobile passes, whilst the journeys are showing up in the 'my trip' section, when we go into 'my pass' to see the ticket it doesn't recognize that we've booked a journey and no QR code is showing. We've emailed interrail but wondered if anyone had advice to fix it as we need it for July 4th. Thanks, Matthew.

trying to book a seat reservation on 6th of july from zurich to frauenfeld that takes 36 minutes. On the interrail app, it doesn’t say seat reservation is needed but when I am on the website and also when I check sbb.ch, it says “ seat reservation not possible”. Does anyone know what it means?Does it mean I don’t have to reserve a seat for that train?

Hi! My husband and I just bought the mobile eurail pass. Can our e-tickets be printed at the train stations across Europe or can they only be printed at home? We’re staying in Airbnb’s, so we don’t have access to at home printers. Thank you in advance for your advice :)

I have a Global Pass for 1 month. If I want to board on trains that do not require seat reservation, do I need to book the trains/buy tickets ? Or can I just board the trains and show my Global Pass as a ticket if checks are made ?

The form keep saying that my Paper Pass ID is not good (both on mobile app and web site) but I check it many times, I am entering I (or i) and 8 digits and YES i selected paper pass. Please be kind and make your app works like it should. 

HiI have bought two mobile passes for my wife and myself. I created a trip and added my mobile pass number to the trip. I then went to add my wife but needed a different trip name so I copied trip and called it something different and added her pass number.I am now trying to book seat reservations but only have the option for myself as I cannot add my wife to the same trip as myself and therefore book two seats.Got in contact by email with Eurail two weeks ago and all I get is apologies for the delay in getting back to me. Is there anyone out there who can give me guidance?Thank you in anticipation.Bryan

Hi,I have a 2-month pass and not sure whether I should activate the pass before my trip. I saw a question about activating pass to early, and the answer mentioned ‘the first day of the validity period is automatically made a travel day’. Thus, I wonder is the activation day the same as ‘start day of the validity of the pass’. I am now in the activation process and not sure whether I should activate it or not. If I can choose an extra start day, then I guess it would be better to activate before the trip because some seat need reservation.  Thank you in advance!

Hello,I bought Interrail Promotional Pass. It is written on the ticket VALID 30-06-2022 - 29-08-2022. Do I still need to activate the validity?I called to SJ (Swedish railway company) but they informed since valid dates are mentioned, it may not needed. I was in Stockholm central station, and there is no ticket counter/machine in the central station anymore, neither information kiosk could help activating my paper passes.Best regards,Kamrul

Hello, im travelling with a 1-month Pass this August and im still unsure about how to use my trips. Is there any limit to trips undertaken on 1 day? Can I, for example, take a regional train from, say, Firenze to Genua and go back the same day, meaning I can pretty much freely use any regional trains, as long as I add the trip to my mobil pass? 

Hi everyone I am trying to make seat reservations for a train from Paris to Annecy on 30th July anytime after 12pm. It looks on the interrail.eu seat reservations site like there is availability on a number of trains leaving that afternoon. It lets me select the 1st class or 2nd class option, asks for my contact tel number and to confirm the details of the people travelling (pre-populated) and then takes me to a screen where I need to tick to accept the booking conditions (screen before payment). At this point it refreshes to say that “this leg of my journey is no longer available to book’ and that the leg will be removed from my basket. It doesn’t however remove it from my basket and also won’t let me edit and remove it! Thinking that there might be issues with the website, I tried to complete a booking through the other suggested route - the website B-Europe. Here I was able to select a train with availability but could not complete registering the passenger details as it asks for a

Hi fellow travellers!I was wondering how can I make a seat reservation with the mobile pass. I will travel from Budapest to Bucarest and from Bucarest to Sofia. Later on, I will go from Thessaloniki to Athens.The app says the reservation needs to be done in the website of Interrail, however, the page does not let me do that. An error pops up and says that our tickets won´t be on time. Now I´m dubious about how to do it.Reading other topics, I came up with the idea of making the reservation with the operator of each country. Is it possible?Any kind of help is appreciated! Hi, my boyfriend and I bought our Eurail Mobile Passes (youth pass) in December 2020 and due to Covid, we’re only able to travel now (until 31/08/2022). However, he turned 28 two weeks ago and now he can’t activate his mobile pass, the reason being that he was only supposed to use it when he was under 28 years old. We’re leaving tomorrow and have gotten no help from Eurail or any one else. I have all the paperwork printed just in case as proof (including the email that stated that our pass had been extended for a year) and we can’t possibly change all our train tickets last minute by buying a new pass. Do you have any advice? Since this case is probably an exception, I hope the train conductors will understand our situation but I must admit I’m quite stressed out.Thank you so much!

i have an issue making a train reservation, in the Rail planner app i can see a train that leaves Vienna on the 24th of july at 06:32 going to Venice. It says i need to make a reservation. When i go on the reservation website, this train time doesnt exist. The options that are on the website dont exist in the app either. So i dont know which one to trust because i have to make a reservation and also select a train for my travel day on the app. What should i do?

Hi guys, Has anyone done Eurail with an Australian Driver Licence as ID?Any issues so far? I live in AUS but I don’t have a passport yet (German passport). Sorry for the double thread, I am travelling tomorrow and hoping for an answer soon! Thanks!Emmi
