Is the reservation fee paid per seat or per group? For example, if I were to book a 4-berth couchette, is the price shown per berth or is it for all 4 berths?

Hello ! Hope you're doing great ! I've just booked my first interrail pass ! it was recommended to me because i'm used to travel a lot by train and in that case all the time between 2 stations Bruxelles-midi (Belgium - my home country) and Lyon Part-Dieu (France) the country in which my girlfriend lives in ! So with the recommandation of an agent in France I took the 2 months pass (with 10 trips), i activated my account just a few moments ago and when i want to book a trip between Bruxelles and Lyon it says that it needs to be an inbound/outbound trip and I only have 2 of those instead of the 10.Is that normal did i miss understood something in the pass ? if I did can you help me about it 🙂 ? Many thanks in advance and wish you a great evening ! FrancoisP

Hello, I am from Paris. I am going to London then Liverpool from March 26th to March 28th. As I used my outbound and inbound journeys, I was wondering if it was possible to travel in my own country (France) and use my interrail pass in April (my pass is valid from March 26th to April 25th) ? Or can i only travel in my own country between my outbound et inbound journey ? I can book tickets on the interrail website for a round trip in France from April 14th to April the 17th but can I be sure that I’ll be travelling in good standings ?  Thank you in advance for your help,  Lucy

Hey Interrailers,I am planning to do an Europe Trip with roughly this route: Berlin-Vienna-Prague-Budapest-Ljubljana-Florence-Rome-Naples-Nicce-Barcelona-Paris-Amsterdam-CopenhagenI have two questions concerning my Interrail Trip:The first one is about reservations. I am planning to do the trip during March to May and I am pretty sure that it won´t be such a big issue to make reservations for various trains spontaneously e.g. at the train stations (mainly Italy, Spain and France as reservations are most of the time obligatory in these countries). As I a not travelling during summer, it is possbile to book reservations spontaneously as trains are not that busy during off-season/spring am I right? Nevertheless, I  have read a lot about the problem that sometimes reservartions need to be printed out and this would be quite difficult to do if you are already in another country. Sadly, I found no answer to that question:)The second one is about the outbound/inbound rule: I planned to visit

Before I buy a 4 day pass to use in one month, how can I make sure that the trains I need are available. Travelling only in France. Thanks!

I’m concerned about the connections between Paris-Lucern-Zermatt-Milan-Venice. It’s multiple countries, trains and connections. I haven’t purchased our Eurail yet, plan to soon, but will I need to book each section AND pay the reservation fee for each leg of the trip? We will be staying one night in Lucern and 2 nights in Zermatt. I’m really excited about taking the Glacier Express for the Zermatt to Brig section then on to Milan and Venice. Any advise & tips would be helpful. Thanks in advance.  

Unfortunately I can't find any Irish destination on the Interrail Planner App. But as far as I know is Ireland part of the Interrail network. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

I am planning a trip to Switzerland and France in March. Fares listed on website state they are for Summer Travel: buy now and travel later. Does March qualify as summer? 

Hello, I am trying to reserve 4 train tickets for the TGV 9702 TGV INOUI from Barcelona-Sants to Paris Gare de Lyon on the 2. of August at 10:00 am. I think these reservations are only available as paper tickets.If I try to make the reservation on the eurrail/interrail website it tells me that the amount of available seats is unknown. How can I reserve seats, if the website doesn't know how many seats there are?Also I read on a different page that reservations for Spain can only be done at train stations, so how is it possible to do one on the website? I am very confused and would be grateful for some help. 

Beste Interrail community, even een praktische vraag. Ik heb even een vraag over een jongerenpas voor 4 dagen binnen een maand reizen. Op 8 maart word ik 28 jaar en ik wil mijn pas nog als jongeren pas aanvragen nu ik nog 27 jaar ben. ik ben van plan om op 26 maart naar Zwitserland te reizen en op 2 april terug te komen kan ik dan een dezer dagen alvast het jongere ticket aanschaffen voordat ik mijn verjaardag heb en mijn concrete vraag is mag ik ook vanaf de start datum van de ingang van mijn pas nog binnen Nederland reizen of moet ik direct naar het buitenland reizen. Mijn idee is zo: ik koop 6 maart een jongerenpas. Begin die dag al met reizen door Nederland (1 van 4 dagen), dan neem ik op 26 maart de trein naar buiten NL naar zwitserland (2 van 4 dagen), op 2 april ga ik van Zwitserland naar NL terug (3 van 4 dagen). Dan heb ik zelfs nog een dag over als het goed is. Maar weet iemand of dit mogelijk is?

Hi,ich bin gerade am planen meiner Route und muss dafür einmal von Prag oder Krakau aus um nach Stockholm zu kommen durch Deutschland reisen, zählt das als Einreise oder kann ich nach dem Skandinavien Abschnitt wieder nach Deutschland zu meinem Heimatbahnhof fahren?Erlaubt ist ja eine Ein- und eine Ausreise, wenn man das ganz penibel zählt wären es allerdings zwei Einreisen und eine Ausreise.Ein- und Ausreise wäre hier allerdings in einer Zugfahrt Danke schon mal für alle Antworten

Hello, When I want to consult the train timetables to go from a country to Serbia (no matter the city), the site tells me that no train corresponds to my search.However, a search without any particular filter. Is this a problem with the site or is Serbia not included in the Interrail passes? Thank you for your help. I was in the process of planning my journeys but this is blocking me and I cannot continue my search.

I am trying to book a train from Paris to Amsterdam and am having trouble with the book reservations tool. Is anyone else still having issues? How else can I book a ticket if I am meant to travel on Sunday? 

Good evening all,I’m planning a trip for the end of August including Belgium & The Netherlands coming from the US, and we’ll be flying in and out of London Heathrow. I’ve been looking at the Benelux Pass, and while this website says Eurostar from London to Brussels is included with the pass, the trip planner is telling me to purchase global passes, and I cannot find any further information in regards to it. I have two general questions to ask: Does the Benelux pass truly include the Eurostar from London to Brussels? And if so, would that cover London to Amsterdam? Do the days of traveling run consecutively? Or can I space 4 days of travel (per se) over a weeks long trip.Thanks in advance. This will be my first trip to Europe and I’m used to simply dealing with airports and rental cars in the States.

As we know, there aren’t a lot of railway networks in Norway, do you know which bus companies are included in the Global Pass? I can’t found anything, maybe you know also where i can buy the tickets ?

Surely that´s been asked before, but I can´t find the answer… I´ve just bought 3 mobile passes and I don’t know how to make the reservations. Do you have to make the trips on the app before making the reservations? I still don´t know the exact schedule I will take, so I can´t make an exact trip, but I´d like to make reservations for the Thalys, TGV and Freccia Rossa that we will take…  Can I make the reservations for the 3 of us together? Is there any tutorial or something like that? We’ll be travelling on april. I’m not able to fine how to change transit time between 2 trains (in this new app)

My girlfriend and I have bought mobile, 10 day passes. We have never been to Europe before (Canadians). These are the questions I have:When you plan a trip some stops/trains say there is a reservation needed. How do I make reservations? I have tried to make them on the Rail Planner App and online but have had no luck at all. I have read countless how-to guides with no success. For example, most say to go to the eurail/interrail website to make them. I go to the website, click “yes” when asked if I have a pass, when I go to log in/create an account there is no where for me to enter my pass number like all of the online forums say there is; and when I go to my account settings, there is no option to add a pass/ traveller. And once logged in and I click to book reservations its just a FAQ page with nothing to actually book the reservations.  One train we want is from Interaken to Venice, there is 2 changes on the journey and the 3rd from from Brigs requires seat reservations.  When making

I have a ticket but can’t create a trip.  There is simply nothing on the trips and travellers page when I try.  This seems to mean that I can’t book any trains.  Please help.  I am now stuck away from home.

However, something went wrong with the application of one of our friends, so now we have three passes and four people who want to travel. We have been trying to get in contact with someone who could help us with our situation, but we have discovered that they just don't reply or they are bots who can't help us. Do you have any contact info (emails, facebook pages, phone numbers) that could maybe further our situation? Thanks in advance!

Situation: I want to travel from Barcelona to Paris with the TGV 9708 INOUI but the only way to book a reservation is by getting the ticket sent to an address. But by the time that the ticket will arrive, I’ll already be on my way back to Germany.Will a photo of the reservation get accepted (e.g. a family member at home sends me a pic of it)? Or do I need to have the papers with me when a ticket inspector asks for a reservation?

Hi there, I am planning on traveling with my 15-year old son between May 25th and June 8th 2022. Which global pass is best for me? I am thinking that we’ll travel via train part of the time but not all the time. Are we better off buying a few more days and a two month pass or simply going with the 7-travel day pass over a month.
