Did anyone ever take the Cable car from jakobsbad to Kronberg mountain? Is it worthwhile in September? And does the Pass give a discount on the cable car?

We have semi-folding bikes that we would like to take to Carcassonne from England. Anybody done that trip with Eurail?

Howdy! My best friend and I are planning a trip to backpack around Europe in about 11 months. I have never been to Europe, she has. We want to see as much as we can in as many countries as possible. We will be there for about a month. We are curious on which pass we should get, (the month, 22 day, 15 day, etc) as we do not want to be super tied down to an itinerary. We do want the freedom of waking up one morning and deciding we want to go see the sunset in another country (if that is possible). Any guidance is appreciated!

I am traveling through  multiple countries and 2 day trips within Germany.   Should  I buy a 7 day global  pass, or a 5 day global pass and 2 local tickets for my Munich  day trips.  Is the global pass good for the 2 day trips or do I need to buy local tickets for those 2 days. Second question: If I buy Global Plus pass, Do they assign me seats, or do I still have to reserve my own seats?

I am traveling with a friend. in the month of October. Here is my itinerary listed for each travel day Total of 7 Rail Days in the Month of October. I am listing the amount of time we will be on trains. Im trying to decide which  Global or global plus pass I should buy. Tuscany -Lucerne Switzerland  8.5 HrsLucerne -Lake Geneva    3 hrsLake Geneva -Munich      7.5 hrsMunich - Regensburg back to Munich ( Day trip)Munich to Rothenburg - Back to Munich (Day trip)Munich - Strasbourg FR 5 hrsStrasburg- Tuscany     10.5 hrs.QUESTIONS1. Since 3 of the days the trip is long I am considering buying Global Plus where seat reservations are included. I know the price of the mandatory reserved seats. If I buy the Global Pass I have to pay for all the FAST train reservations but do I have to pay for all the others that say Seat reservations Optional. Does that mean I should reserve a seat? What happens on those if I don't reserve a seat?2.What is your feeling about Global First class V Second class es

hi! I will be in Istanbul next week and still have some Interrail travel days left, on the Interrail website I can see the train routes in turkey but I can’t find them when I search in the planner..  someone who has nice suggestion for a one / two day trip?

I’m not able to add my journey to my pass.I guess it's because I don't want to buy a Reservation. I already have one.

Hello everyone,  I have a Greek islands interrail pass of 4 days and today is the last day of its validity period. I have booked an overnight ferry ticket for tonight with departure time before the expiration of the pass, which based on the rules I read online should be possible to connect to the pass, as the departure day counts instead of the arrival one when it comes to overnights. However, when I try to connect it to my pass, I receive an error saying that I cannot add it.  I sent a support request about but I am afraid I might not be able to receive an answer on time and I wanted to also ask here and see if someone has had a similar problem and what you did about.  Thank you a lot in advance!

Merhaba. İlk defa trenle ve yalnız seyahat edeceğim. Gece treninde kuşetli seyahat etmek istesem, uyuyacağım kabinde ne derece güvende olurum? Tek kişilik kabinler mevcut mu? Yoksa bir otelde kalmak daha mı güvenli?Ayrıca tavsiyelerinizi bekliyorum. Teşekkür ederim.

Hi, I am planning to go from Brussels to Beziers and my route involves a transfer between Paris Nord and Paris Gare De Lyon. Is 40 minutes enough time to get between the two? Thank you

’m planning to travel through the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and other nearby countries starting December 13, 2026. I’d like to make seat reservations for the trains on my itinerary as soon as possible, but I keep receiving a message indicating that no trains are available.Could you please let me know when seat reservations will open for the trains I’m planning to take? I’d also appreciate any information about how far in advance reservations can typically be made for these routes.

Hi everyoneI need to travel from Exeter to Sorrento return in November. I'm bewildered by the options. The helpful Man in Seat 61 site, says the fastest & cheapest way is via a stopover in Milan. But is this still the cheapest when you factor in a hotel night in Milan (the best I can find near the station is about £100).I've looked at the European sleeper from Brussels to Milan, which would save an overnight stay, however I can't see how to book sleeping accommodation on the train, it is only offering me a regular second class seat. And I've looked for the Stuttgart to Venice Nightjet but can only find options where I would have to change in the middle of the night. If anyone can give me any advice or opinion I would be most grateful.Thank you!

hello,I am looking at a Christmas Market train trip through Europe in 2027. I am wondering if anyone has tips on how to book these tickets in advance. We will be a large group. Thanks

I searched for this and really didn’t find an answer.I hope I can explain this right. I leave next week for a month trip in Europe and I have everything saved in the Rail Planner app. Have not activated my pass yet but all the trains that needed reservations I have booked and paid for. I accidentally deleted one of those trips. The first leg of the journey is the one that required the reservation. Is there a way for me to recover this? I have 2 more transfers before I get to my final destination with no idea what time I have to catch the train or for that matter what stations I will transfer at. I tried to go back in to “rebook” the journey so I could see the rest of it but it’s not even there to look at anymore. Is there anything I can do? Thanks for your help with this.

How can I be sure Ive booked a double sleeper for 2?  Eurail site offers a T3 singolo , while Trenitalia offers a doppia cabina intera?  Is this the same thing?

I’m traveling in France and Belgium on October 3rd and 4th! I am not able to buy any tickets! I was looking at Paris to Brussels on Oct 3. I was looking at Bruges to Amsterdam Oct 4. i’ve been looking since the beginning of june and it has said the same message every time. no seats available at this time. I’m wondering why this is. I asked the eurrail customer service team and they said check back in a week. it’s been about a month now and i’m very curious. Thank you to anyone who can help!

I’m trying to travel rail Trondheim-Bodo on 30 Sept and Narvik-Boden on 2 Oct. Some sites there may be bus replacements on first leg. Any recent knowledge? More to the point, ticket sites don’t seem confident that the advertised daily train Narvik-Boden is actually running early October. DB site won’t offer tickets, though shows the schedule and entur (Norwegian public transport site) treies to send you via Oslo and Stockholm! Does anyone know for sure the situation with the Narvik-Boden service and whether there are problems early October?

We’re travelling to Europe in mid December this year, hoping to wait until the Black Friday sales to get some discount on buying our Global Passes. Can I book the seat reservations now through the individual train operators without having our passes yet?

We have the First Class Global Pass Plus, but with the very first booking I’m trying to make, I’m only being offered Second Class seats.  Does this mean the First Class seats are sold out?  Thank you!

Hi All. Please can someone tell me how I use my interrail pass to book a seat on eurostar. I may travel from London to paris this coming Thursday but this is not confirmed - so  I haven’t yet activated my pass.Thanks.Sara Hall

does my continuous interrail pass cover completely a Greek pass?No need to buy additionally a Greek pass?

Hello. We are looking to travelling as a group of 13 (9A/4C) around Europe using either 7 or 10 day pass. We have 4 planned trips between our base cities that all 13 of us will do. We are thinking of doing at least 4 day trips out of our base cities, but not all of us will be doing the same day trips and these will be booked on the fly. What is the best way to manage each pass? All on my device? Couples and families together on their own devices? Single adults on their own?  I am in charge of organising all the bookings though so if everyone’s pass was on separate device I would need to physically use their phones to add the trips.  If I had all the passes on my phone, can each one have different trips/itinteraries? Can I send screenshots of the QR codes to other travellers who are doing different day trips. Or do they all have to have the same itinerary as me?  ( Last time we travelled as a group of 4 (2A/2C) and I had all 4 passes on my device. I took photos of our QR codes and sent

Hi, We are scheduled to travel from Amsterdam Centraal to Zurich HB on Oct 2nd on the NightJet train. We had even bought the coach/ seat reservation (for IC 60403) but recieved an email saying “connection from Amsterdam to Zurich has changed. Click here to find alternative transport if necessary”.I cannot find sufficient information on this particular train. I can see that the actual NightJet train NJ403 still appears on NS international website (but not IC 60403). The trains are not on OBB website or on Interrail app. Does this mean the train is definitively cancelled? I talked with NS international who suggested I call OBB. I tried calling OBB but their customer service is only in German which I unfortunately do not speak, so have not been able to get past the automated service. What are our other options for this leg that involves night travel? The alternative options that we have found all include 3+ transfers often in the middle of the night which we would like to avoid. Any advic
