Hello, I’m thinking of buying an Interrail pass. I’d also like to use couchettes on sleeper trains. I’m wondering if there are special booking rates for Interrail. With the European Sleeper, it seems you pay the same price for a couchette booking whether you have an Interrail pass or not. What has been your experience?

I want to travel on the Eurostar from St Pancras on Sunday 25th October 2026. There is not one service that I  am able to make a reservation on despite there being tickets available on the Eurostar website. Any suggestions? Thanks 

I’ve just bought my pass but I won’t be travelling until August 2027.  When should I link the pass to the app.  I don’t want to activate the pass now.

Hi,i am planning a trip to Bosnia Herzegowina in next summer and thinking about buying a global pass for one month in the actual sale.Had anybody made a trip with interrail in Bosnia Herzegowina?I am not sure, if there are enough possibilities to go by train or if busses are the first option to travel.I am looking forward to hear about your expieriencewarm regards Susanna 

Hey everyone I am now in Brasov in Romania.Is there someone who will drive along the Transfăgărășan next week (between September 29, 2026 and October 3, 2026) ?I would love to travel on this road. In have no car. I have some trips booked with reservations to pay. How do I do this?

Hi. We had a flight from Athens to Bari which was 2 hours late, so we missed our train at 2:10 PM. We had purchased reserved tickets through the Interrail app. Can we get a refund for the reserved tickets?

I live in UK. Am I correct in thinking that the 2 days’ use of a pass in your home country are unrestricted - i.e. they do not necessarily need to start or end at St Pancras International for example and that they are not connected to your ‘home’ address. Neither do they necessarily need to be at the start and end of the pass’ validity?The reason I ask is because I live in Portsmouth but want to start my journey into Europe from Plymouth and complete the trip in Inverness. Both will be accomplished within the 2 day limit. Thanks in advance

Did anyone ever take the Cable car from jakobsbad to Kronberg mountain? Is it worthwhile in September? And does the Pass give a discount on the cable car? 

We have semi-folding bikes that we would like to take to Carcassonne from England. Anybody done that trip with Eurail?

hi! I will be in Istanbul next week and still have some Interrail travel days left, on the Interrail website I can see the train routes in turkey but I can’t find them when I search in the planner..  someone who has nice suggestion for a one / two day trip?

Hi everyoneI need to travel from Exeter to Sorrento return in November. I'm bewildered by the options.The helpful Man in Seat 61 site, says the fastest & cheapest way is via a stopover in Milan. But is this still the cheapest when you factor in a hotel night in Milan (the best I can find near the station is about £100).I've looked at the European sleeper from Brussels to Milan, which would save an overnight stay, however I can't see how to book sleeping accommodation on the train, it is only offering me a regular second class seat.And I've looked for the Stuttgart to Venice Nightjet but can only find options where I would have to change in the middle of the night.If anyone can give me any advice or opinion I would be most grateful.Thank you!

How can I be sure Ive booked a double sleeper for 2?  Eurail site offers a T3 singolo , while Trenitalia offers a doppia cabina intera?  Is this the same thing? 

I’m planning to travel from Bristol to either Glasgow or Edinburgh.  I tried putting Glasgow or Edinburgh in as a destination and the trip planner kept routing me through Liverpool, with a journey time of about 8 plus hours.  I plan to take the northern route, which goes from Bristol to Cairryan, with trains to Glasgow and Edinburgh from there.  This northern route is only about 2 hours on the ferry, so much more efficient.  The trip planner will let me put in the Bristol to Cairnryan part of the journey, with the 2 hour ferry, so I’m surprised this didn’t work when trying to get from Bristol to Glasgow/Edinburgh.  Perhaps I have to put in the Bristol to Cairnryan trip and then add a separate Cairnryan to Glasgow/Edinburgh trip?  If anyone has done this route and has advice, please let me know. 

Wir kommen mit der Fähre von Bari  am 17.9. um 13.00h in Patras an und wollen dann nach Piräus weiterfahren , um dort mit der Fähre um 20.00h nach Mytilini zu fahren. Wir finden keine Busverbindung vom Terminal in Patras zum Busbahnhof in Patras . Dort fährt der Bus 14.40h nach KIATO.Wo und wann fährt derZubringerbus in Piräus  zum Gate E2?Vielen Dank Martin

I’m trying to travel rail Trondheim-Bodo on 30 Sept and Narvik-Boden on 2 Oct. Some sites there may be bus replacements on first leg. Any recent knowledge? More to the point, ticket sites don’t seem confident that the advertised daily train Narvik-Boden is actually running early October. DB site won’t offer tickets, though shows the schedule and entur (Norwegian public transport site) treies to send you via Oslo and Stockholm! Does anyone know for sure the situation with the Narvik-Boden service and whether there are problems early October?

Hi which country is interrail friendly and there is no so many seat reservation. 

We have the First Class Global Pass Plus, but with the very first booking I’m trying to make, I’m only being offered Second Class seats.  Does this mean the First Class seats are sold out?  Thank you!
