Hi community, We are travelling Florence to Rome and have seat reservations for 29/9 (booked through Eurail) but want to change the trip to the next day. Is it possible to change the date of seat reservations, or do we just have to buy new ones? I can’t seem to find this out on the Trenitalia site! Ta, Maria

Hi, this is my first post on the forum and I’m currently starting to plan a month-long interrail trip for me and 6 of my friends for next summer! We’re looking to travel from england, mostly around western europe ideally and not sure what the first steps would be for planning this trip? We’re starting early so we can plan an itinerary far in advance. We want to go to some popular tourist areas but also some less popular places with good scenery and food! Does anyone have advice which would help us plan, or for how we can look for cheap but reliable accommodation? I’m also unsure on how best to plan a good route which makes the most of our time. Would it make sense to spend around 2-3 days in each country, so maybe we could visit around 10? We are also all girls and will be 18 when taking the trip, so does anyone have advice for how to remain safe while travelling?Sorry I know this is a lot of questions, any help would be much appreciated!! Thank you so much!

Hey everyone I am a student studying in Lille and have taken a 3 month Global Eurorail pass planning to cover Europ, but I facing the following issues:1) I am planning my Central Europe trip and then when I try to go to Berlin from Amsterdam it says seat reservation recommended. So what does it mean I can travel by not booking as well? 2) Also Lille to Berlin shows a non seat reservation of 24 euros but if I travel to to Amsterdam from Lille and then Berlin it shows only on 8 euro for seat reservation for almost the same time. Why is the rail planner not optimising to show me the optimised travel option ?How do I navigate this issue? It would be great if someone could throw some light on this issue. I am facing

Hi there, does anyone have suggestions for a good route from London to La Spezia (with maybe a short bus ride needed to get to our final destination like Lerici) in July 2027 please? I know there are numerous ways to go about it.  Happy to have a stop over somewhere interesting along the way. (2adults, 2 teens). Thanks!

Can I use the app to pay for a journey, to avoid using a day from my Pass?

We have 3 month continuous Interrail passes. Once activated, can the 3 month period be deactivated or paused and restarted within the 1-year validity period?

Hi. This is our second trip. Last year I booked all of the trip, seat reservations etc . on my desktop for x2 persons. I would like to book all of this years trip on my phone. Can I do that for both of us & then my partner can log in on her own phone & have all of the details on her app as well ? I’m sure the app is designed for this I can’t seem to work it out ?? Thanks.

Anyone has suggestion for the best comfort route from Amsterdam to Bologna italy ? I also noticed a “bug” related to night trains in the trip planner from the App, when selecting night train option in the planner nothing shows if your itinerary has multiple legs and only one is with night trains . Seeing no options I booked for now daytime I am going via Munich, trying also chuchuu.com to verify train reliability as after one booking a timetable was different from the journey in the German train DB website and schedules!please provide options for my comeback from Bologna to Amsterdam, probably a night train would be better for me! tomorrow going viaAmsterdam → Duisburg HBf (ICE) → Munich HBf (RJ)→ Bologna centrale

Hello Forum and especially Support Team,I am in a severe emergency. My trip starts tomorrow night (Sunday).I purchased a Mobile Pass. An older version of the Rail Planner app is already installed, but I have an iPhone SE iOS 15.8.8  and when I try to open it to add my pass, it triggers a forced update screen and prevents me from accessing my pass. I cannot update the app due to iOS limitations, and I do not have access to another smartphone.I already submitted an official support ticket yesterday evening, but I have not received a reply yet. Thing is, had I known, I’d have bought regular train tickets. I’m travelling to France on relative short notice for the funeral of my aunt there.  When I compared prices, Interrail was the cheaper option, so. And even I cancel the pass now - regular ticket prices have meanwhile GONE THROUGH THE ROOF and I can’t afford to buy those tickets. Really can’t. Help???This is my ticket number from the support request email: 1519055And could I please, please

I am writing to inquire about the seat reservation rules and validity of the Eurail France One Country Pass for cross-border TGV Lyria routes.Specifically, I am planning to travel from Basel (Basel SBB / Bâle SNCF) to Paris (Paris Gare de Lyon) on a direct TGV Lyria train. I checked the Rail Planner App, which indicates that the France One Country Pass is valid and supports seat reservations for the TGV Lyria segment from Basel to Mulhouse. Since the direct train from Basel to Paris travels through Mulhouse anyway, does this mean the pass fully covers the entire direct journey to Paris?Furthermore, I would like to know if this same logic applies to the TGV Lyria route between Paris and Geneva. As Geneva is also a border station, can I use the France One Country Pass to book a direct train (TGV Lyria) from Paris to Geneva?Thank you for your time and clarification.

I have a couple of questions about the current process for claiming delays with Eurail.I have submitted several claims over the past few weeks, but just received the standard reply saying it is has been received. Does anyone know how long it is taking to process currently? The form asks for a screenshot of the ticket. Eurail has disabled this functionality so I have submitted the images with the QR code missing (using the option to allow screenshot in the app). Will this be accepted?

I have tried multiple sites:Croatian railwaysSlovenian railwaysDB.intObb But no one can issue a seat reservation to use with interrail pass

Hi there,I’m looking into the European Sleeper train’s new service from Brussels to Milan; thinking of next year. I’d book a private compartment for 4 of us. Has anyone used them? How are they and how do they compare to the Night jet service from Brussels to Vienna (I used that a few years ago).  Thank you!

We are booked on 10.36 train from Bolzano to Munich (RJ88) on Tuesday 8th September, then 15.17 from Munich to Berlin (ICE1004) same day. Will either or both be running?

Presently travelling; no “Move Pass” appears

Hello fellow interrailer,When traveling from Vienna to Brussels with the NightJet NJ448 the train actually rides through Germany, which is my home country. Can I still use this connection if I am not exiting the train in Germany without using one of my inbound/outbound days of a global pass? Thanks a lot for your help!Ralf

I can not activate my day trip in DuscoverEU app and I'm travelling with that train in few hours. It says that something went wrong....please reply as soon as possible

Hello I would like to know where can I find the information that tells me how many times I have used my rail pass… Such as the activity? Thank you very much Marcia Pina

My wife and I are returning to London St Pancras on Eurostar and then switching to London Euston on the same evening to travel to our home station using our 30 day /5 travel day/ 1st class Eurorail passes. We have selected an Avanti train for the final leg of the journey but are struggling to find a link to make seat reservations - even though our “Journey” says that these are required. All of our European seats have been booked with no problems. Can anyone assist us please
