Hello !I am from France, and I am visiting Hambourg in Germany with my family. We are going back home tomorrow by night train to Paris, and then go home with another train. I know it will take two days of travel and that's ok. However, when i put my travel on the railplanner app, the first part (Hambourg to Paris) use our inbound travel and I can't use my pass to go home... I dont understand this, because when we went to Hambourg, we did exactly the same travel in the other way, and it worked !I dont know how to do, and I would like not to get a fine going back home ...
I made two train seat reservations that I don’t need anymore because I changed my plans. Both are second class and are reserved on the 16th of August. I can’t get a refund for them so I wondered if anyone was interested in buying them. The first one is from Montpellier Sud-de-France (France) to Paris Aeroport Cdg2 Tgv Roissy (France), leaving at 13:59 and arriving at 17:36. I bought this one for €22,00. This train travels by Ouigo. The second seat reservation is from Paris Aeroport Cdg2 Tgv Roissy (France) to Bruxelles-Midi, leaving at 18:35 and arriving at 20:00. I bought this seat reservation for €29,00. The traintravels by Eurostar. Is anyone interested in buying both or one from me? Thanks in advance!
Does anyone know of a good little trip for a weekend for a family, last minute that might not be booked up!! From the UK
Hi eurail community! I am doing some research on how we could improve getting food and especially dinner onboard night trains. Most night trains are killing their restaurant carriage because it's too expensive to have one, but i personally greatly miss having the option to buy and eat great meals onboard. I'm trying to find a solution that works both for passengers and operators. To make this tangible I’ve created this typeform where I’d love to have your input! If you have any ideas/things you would like to have onboard please let me know!! Thank you for your help!https://form.typeform.com/to/c53LYlHh
The app keeps telling me that I am offline, thus not allowing me to access my pass. I have tried to change the hour settings on my phone, airplane mode, restarting the app and the phone, but nothing changes.
When I scan the qr to change my account into my new phone it opens an useless google tab, what can I do
May I use Global pass riding Italo railway ?Thank You.
Hiim looking for inspiration for travelling with my two teenage boys in the October half term. Open to ideas? tips and hints. Good advice?
Irish Rail InterCity reservations are now available through our reservation system, making it easier to plan your journey across Ireland. Pass holders can now reserve seats on Irish Rail InterCity services in both 1st and 2nd class. Please note that Irish Rail services operate in the Republic of Ireland, and reservations are not currently available for services in Northern Ireland. There are plenty good stops on this route. From Dublin, head south to Cork and walk through the English Market, where you’ll find local cheeses, seafood, and Irish favourites like Irish stew and soda bread. Travel west to Galway for colourful streets, traditional music, and fresh seafood around the market and Latin Quarter. Or make a stop in Limerick to explore the Milk Market and taste some local produce before continuing your journey. For 2nd class, reservations cost €2 across all fare types. 1st class reservations range from €12 to €20, depending on the route and time of travel. Irish Rail InterCity train

Travelling from Amsterdam to Copenhagen on 8th August. An email received on 25 July from DB says to find alternative connection for our journey because of a timetable change but the info on their email shows a connection we did not book. First leg and final leg match our journey but the second leg has a different train listed though the times are the same. First leg 1000 hours Amsterdam to Osnabrück Hbf ICE 145Second Leg /journey 1323 hours Osnabrück Hbf to Hamburg Hbf says ‘ICE 2532 Direction Hamburg Hbf’ however this is not the train I have a booking for. We booked /have a reservation for the ICE 202 arriving Hamburg 1515 hours.Final leg/journey is 1628 hours Hamburg Hbf to Copenhagen on the RJ 13462 Direction Koebenhavn Following the link on their email I get to a page that has a link to the pdf for our original reservations and further below the seat reservation info there is then a heading saying ‘Your alternative travel itinerary on Sat 8. Aug 2026’ and when I click o
I have returned to my home town Amsterdam after a great trip through Belgium and France with my Interrail pass. On a journey from Paris Gare de Lyon to Lyon Part Dieu, there was a one hour delay (the trip lasted 3 hours instead of 1:56 hours). On the train, an announcement was made that the delay qualified for a (request for) compensation. I am assuming that in my case, I could file a request for compensation at Interrail. How and where could I file such a request?
Is it correct that if I had purchased my interrail pass via Rail Europe I would not have been charged for seat reservations on all the trains I have had to book in advance of my trip? Seat reservations alone have come to €135.60.

Hi everyone!I’m planning a trip from Paris Est to Luxembourg on August 23rd (departing at 10:40 AM and arriving at 1:33 PM) using a 1st Class Interrail Pass.Looking at the timetable, part of the journey is operated by a rail replacement bus. However, when I try to book my seat reservation through the Interrail self-service tool, it only allows me to reserve the seat for the TGV train segment.I’d appreciate your help with a couple of quick questions: Is the seat reservation only required and possible for the TGV portion of the route? For the replacement bus, is it enough to just show my active Interrail Pass on the Rail Planner app when boarding? Thanks in advance for any tips or recent experiences on this route!
I have stopped receiving emails regarding being compensation for the financial cost to me after Eurail have given my data away to criminals. I need something to be actually done.Has anyone else experienced this lack of care and disgusting customer service?
My wife and I have just returned from spending a week in Rome. We travelled from London and back on a four day pass. Our planned route out was London to Paris; Paris to Lyon; overnight in Lyon; Lyon to Milan; Milan to Rome. A few days before we were due to travel out we learnt that there was a national rail strike on the day we were scheduled to make the two journeys getting us from Lyon to Rome. I won’t go into the detail of what we did in terms of rearranging our travel plans and having back up plans should things not work out, other than to say that we spent a lot more money than intended. Imagine my astonishment, therefore, when arriving at Milan Centrale station to discover that although many regional trains were cancelled, not a single long distance train was cancelled and virtually all were running on time. Had we simply taken no notice of the official advice about potential cancellations we would have arrived in Rome significantly earlier than we did.
July has brought some exciting rail news across Europe, with new international connections, seasonal seaside services and even more ways to travel with your Pass. Here's what's new this month. Leo Express has launched a new direct service connecting Frankfurt, Prague and Bohumín, creating a convenient new rail link across Central Europe. Along the route, trains stop in Leipzig, Dresden and Ostrava. Since 12 July, Weimar, Erfurt and Eisenach have also been added as stops, giving you even more opportunities to discover Germany and Czechia by rail. And there's more to come—the route is planned to be extended to Kraków and Przemyśl in the future, opening up even more direct travel options across the region. Poland's Pendolino heads to the Baltic SeaCurious to visit the Polish coast? PKP Intercity has extended its Pendolino service from Bielsko-Biała to Ustka, giving you a new direct connection to
Merci beaucoup
For backup purposes I have shared some of my past trips with a share link, one that looks like this:https://eurailapp.com/share/trip?id=IDENTIFIER&brand=interrail&type=listI just realized that the one I exported over 1 month ago is now displaying “Internal Server Error” while freshly exported ones are displayed properly. I no longer have access to these trips (changed phone). Do you know how can I possibly recover this?
