Get ready to travel

Why am I being charged to book seats…. They are not special….. I am trying to book 2 high speed trains and they want to charge me for one of them. I bought this pass because the seats were supposed to be paid already. How do I prevent being charged?

Este vreun băiat dacă la activarea pasului in aplicația tailplaner nam pus cele 3 karactere din pașaport  și am scris Rou este activat acuma nu mai pot nici cum să-l dezactivezi passul

Hallo Community,Ich will auch endlich meinen Traum erfüllen und Europa mithilfe des Interrail Global Pass entdecken.Ich möchte mit der Option 7 Tage in einem Monat reisen, frage mich aber, ob man über zwei Monate hinweg reisen kann (z.B Ende August - Anfang September), so dass die 7 Tage innerhalb von 30/31 Tagen gelten oder ob man in einem festen Monat reisen muss (z.B nur September oder nur August).Ich würde mich über eine Antwort freuen :) 

I’m traveling in France and Belgium on October 3rd and 4th! I am not able to buy any tickets! I was looking at Paris to Brussels on Oct 3. I was looking at Bruges to Amsterdam Oct 4. i’ve been looking since the beginning of june and it has said the same message every time. no seats available at this time. I’m wondering why this is. I asked the eurrail customer service team and they said check back in a week. it’s been about a month now and i’m very curious. Thank you to anyone who can help!

I have booked train Ljubiana to Budapest Nygati.The train only travels to Kelenfold and i have to get public transport how does this work 

I am trying to book the 01:06 Offenburg to Hanau Hbf, on the 8th August (as shown in image). All signs point towards it being available, but when i reach a certain page it tells me the reservation ‘cannot be made’. Can someone help me find this trip elsewhere or diagnose the issue? Please!

I have a reservation from Lyon Part Dieu to Gare du Nord. However, I have discovered that the train I'm booked on starts at Lyon Perrache, which is near my hotel. Can I amend the reservation free if charge so that it starts at Lyon Perrache, or should I just buy a ticket for the journey between the the 2 stations - it's only a small amount.

I am trying to reserve seats from Brussels - Midi to London St Pancras, but when I enter Brussels the list of stations there does not include Midi. It does allow me to book from Brussels - Centraal to London St Pancras, but it goes to Midi and then we have to change trains and I want to avoid that.I know that others have booked from Midi - how do I get the computer to allow it please?

Hello everyone,At first thank you for your help.I am a Belgian student I would like visit a close friend some weekends but she lives in the south France near Aix en Provence. Normal tickets can become very expensive and I would go there only for short periods because of work during the week. I wanted to know if there exists an abonnement to travel in Belgium to Belgium (from my city to the capital) then from Belgium to Aix en Provence (from Brussels capital) ?I am looking also at flexybus but travels are sometimes too long.Thank you for your advices in advance,Best,

Hi ! I’m new here, and I’m planning to travel to Scotland from France. I just had a few questions about the pass.  1-When booking my seat is optional, do you advise me to book it anyway (it adds extra fees to the travel) or is it usually easy to just hop on the train without booking ? I mean do I need to secure my ride because it’s often crowded ?  2- I’m travelling from France, which is my home country, do I have a time limit to reach England ? Can I book separate trains on different websites in order to reach England ? Or am I forced to book the itinerary suggested on inter rail website ? Do I need to “declare” this first journey to get out of my home country somehow ? Does it count in the 15 days of the pass ?  thanks in advance to the kind people who’ll take the time to answer me !  Jeanne 

Bought the euro rail global pass 10 days within two months. Not sure about activation. I have read and researched so much I think I’ve completely confused myself. Flying into Germany and taking a train to Amsterdam so  that is when I will activate my pass. Will I need to do anything else? Since it is not a continuous pass, will I have to activate it every day I plan to use it? when I bought it. My trip was only 12 days but now I’ve changed my mind and I’m staying 25 days. now I’m thinking I am going to run out of days. The countries I’m visiting, Germany, Netherlands, France, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Switzerland. I figure Switzerland is the most expensive country I’ll be visiting.  I know the euro pass gives me discounts on the ferries, cogwheel trains, aerial gondolas, etc. but  if I don’t use any days in Switzerland, will I still be able to use the Euro pass benefits for these things. I will be staying in the Lucerne area last 3 nights (flying home from Zürich) would I b

I am leaving today and cannot activate muly travel day. No errors are displayed and Discover support only works on weekdays. Need urgent help. It says I have not been online in 24hrs (I have of course) Thanks.  

I assume this is not a problem as I have purchased my seat reservations for our Eurostar journeys between London to Paris.  However there appears to be a mismatch between the times shown both for departure and arrivals between the planner and the official Eurostar schedules.    As far as I can see the mismatch is for all trains available for booking this year.  

So I got a pass, added all my trips and activated it but when I wanted to reserve seats the application told me to add a traveller I tried to login using my pass number and last name but it gave an error details don't match 

Hi there, I didn’t really find information for Interrail online, maybe not to many people travel in Poland…I want to take some IC trains to smaller places around Warszawa for example Lublin, Bydgoszcz  or Łódź. The rail planner app says I don’t need a reservation, but via Google AI I found out that there is an exception for Pesa Dart EMUs. I looked in the PKP App and found the symbol for reservations on some of these trains. Not my question: Is there an exception for people with interrail or is the Rail planner App wrong? The reservation is super cheap, but it is annoying to make reservations for interrail in the PKP App, because when you travel in a group you can’t make interrail reservations for several people at once. Is there a smart solution?Thank you so much!

Hi,I've been trying for two days to reserve seats on Iryo trains from Barcelona to Madrid and Madrid to Seville using the Interrail reservation tool. However, the tool only displays the following error message: Is this a known, possibly temporary problem, or is booking simply not possible?GreetingsVolker

Having seen how difficult it is to get to Lisbon from Madrid has anybody tried Madrid  to Seville then 3 hrs bus ride to Faro?Regular trains then to Lisbon take about 3hrs.

How do we activate a travelday, without a planned journey for the day. We just want to hop on and off and see what the day brings. Whithout restricting to a certain plan.

Hello, me and my friend are going on interrail in about a week!We kind of „overslept“ booking our seat reservations and just started to book them today.Unfortunately we now have a problem, because the seats of every train going from london to paris on the 14th August are reserved. We then tried to book them over the eurostars website, but the Website does not find any train going from london to paris. Online you can see that the website eurostars is for trains inbetween the United Kingdom, Belgium, France,…we also tried booking from an extern website, but there you can only buy tickets to get seat reservations and those are very expensive. we are now desperate and unsure what to do.please help us, thank you in advance!antonia & anna

Vanwege uitvaart gaan we halverwege de vakantie terug naar huis.Daarna willen we graag nog weg.Daar hebben we de dagen voor op de pas. Kunnen we voor de terugreis door eigen land een inreis dag gebruiken.?En daarna de overige dagen?Daar gebruiken we dan geen in en uitreisdag meer voor. 

Hello. Has anyone in this community successfully applied for a free carer’s pass? I am planning to travel with my niece later this year. My niece is registered disabled and we have submitted the form to apply for a carer’s pass twice and receive no reply. What I’m trying to find out (very simply) is whether my niece has to purchase her pass before she can apply for the carer’s pass for me? Can anyone help with this? It would be great to hear from anyone who has successfully applied for a carer’s pass - what was the process and how easy was this?

Hello everyone.I need some help. I'm having a problem with an Interrail route: the founder of the group can see it and added it without problems, while to me that same route doesn't appear when I try to add it. Also, even trying to import it through the link he sent me, I can't. We tried to figure out how to solve it, but we can't figure it out. Has it already happened to anyone? Do you know how it can be done?
