Last year, I found that Eurostar reservations were no longer available for my desired dates.Now I’m in a dilemma:I don’t want that to happen again, so I’d like to book the reservations as soon as possible.At the same time, though, I’d prefer to wait for any Interrail promo — but I’d like to secure my Eurostar reservations now for late April 2027 (yes, I know it’s far away...)These reservations are already available on b-europe (but I don’t have an Interrail pass yet, so I can’t proceed).My question is:Is it certain that these reservations on b-europe are valid?The train connection itself for end of April is already bookable on Eurostar.   

Hello. I am trying to buy a single-country rail pass, but the website is not adding the birth dates of the passengers correctly. It also hangs a lot asking me to ensure that I put in the correct birth date for my five-year-old child, which I am. What is going wrong? 

Howdy! My best friend and I are planning a trip to backpack around Europe in about 11 months. I have never been to Europe, she has. We want to see as much as we can in as many countries as possible. We will be there for about a month. We are curious on which pass we should get, (the month, 22 day, 15 day, etc) as we do not want to be super tied down to an itinerary. We do want the freedom of waking up one morning and deciding we want to go see the sunset in another country (if that is possible). Any guidance is appreciated! 

I am traveling through  multiple countries and 2 day trips within Germany.   Should  I buy a 7 day global  pass, or a 5 day global pass and 2 local tickets for my Munich  day trips.  Is the global pass good for the 2 day trips or do I need to buy local tickets for those 2 days. Second question: If I buy Global Plus pass, Do they assign me seats, or do I still have to reserve my own seats? 

I am traveling with a friend. in the month of October.Here is my itinerary listed for each travel day Total of 7 Rail Days in the Month of October. I am listing the amount of time we will be on trains. Since 3 of the days the trip is long I am considering buying Global Plus where seat reservations are included. I know the price of the mandatory reserved seats. If I buy the Global Pass I have to pay for all the FAST train reservations but do I have to pay for all the others that say Seat reservations Optional. Does that mean I should reserve a seat? What happens on those if I don't reserve a seat?2.What is your feeling about Global First class V Second class es

I’m not able to add my journey to my pass.I guess it's because I don't want to buy a Reservation. I already have one. 

Hello everyone,  I have a Greek islands interrail pass of 4 days and today is the last day of its validity period. I have booked an overnight ferry ticket for tonight with departure time before the expiration of the pass, which based on the rules I read online should be possible to connect to the pass, as the departure day counts instead of the arrival one when it comes to overnights. However, when I try to connect it to my pass, I receive an error saying that I cannot add it.  I sent a support request about but I am afraid I might not be able to receive an answer on time and I wanted to also ask here and see if someone has had a similar problem and what you did about.  Thank you a lot in advance!

’m planning to travel through the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and other nearby countries starting December 13, 2026. I’d like to make seat reservations for the trains on my itinerary as soon as possible, but I keep receiving a message indicating that no trains are available.Could you please let me know when seat reservations will open for the trains I’m planning to take? I’d also appreciate any information about how far in advance reservations can typically be made for these routes.

Dear community. I want to book a train from Lyon to Barcelona - Global Plus Pass Beta active (works for trains in France, Germany, etc.)  For the AVE Connections in Spain i cant choose a reservation Via Renfe, the train is still bookable, so its not booked out:  looking for advise how to proceed.  Thanks! I searched for this and really didn’t find an answer.I hope I can explain this right. I leave next week for a month trip in Europe and I have everything saved in the Rail Planner app. Have not activated my pass yet but all the trains that needed reservations I have booked and paid for. I accidentally deleted one of those trips. The first leg of the journey is the one that required the reservation. Is there a way for me to recover this? I have 2 more transfers before I get to my final destination with no idea what time I have to catch the train or for that matter what stations I will transfer at. I tried to go back in to “rebook” the journey so I could see the rest of it but it’s not even there to look at anymore. Is there anything I can do? Thanks for your help with this. 

I’m traveling in France and Belgium on October 3rd and 4th! I am not able to buy any tickets! I was looking at Paris to Brussels on Oct 3. I was looking at Bruges to Amsterdam Oct 4. i’ve been looking since the beginning of june and it has said the same message every time. no seats available at this time. I’m wondering why this is. I asked the eurrail customer service team and they said check back in a week. it’s been about a month now and i’m very curious. Thank you to anyone who can help!

We’re travelling to Europe in mid December this year, hoping to wait until the Black Friday sales to get some discount on buying our Global Passes. Can I book the seat reservations now through the individual train operators without having our passes yet? 

Hi All. Please can someone tell me how I use my interrail pass to book a seat on eurostar. I may travel from London to paris this coming Thursday but this is not confirmed - so  I haven’t yet activated my pass.Thanks.Sara Hall

Hi community, We are travelling Florence to Rome and have seat reservations for 29/9 (booked through Eurail) but want to change the trip to the next day. Is it possible to change the date of seat reservations, or do we just have to buy new ones? I can’t seem to find this out on the Trenitalia site! Ta, Maria 

Hey everyone I am a student studying in Lille and have taken a 3 month Global Eurorail pass planning to cover Europ, but I facing the following issues:1) I am planning my Central Europe trip and then when I try to go to Berlin from Amsterdam it says seat reservation recommended. So what does it mean I can travel by not booking as well? 2) Also Lille to Berlin shows a non seat reservation of 24 euros but if I travel to to Amsterdam from Lille and then Berlin it shows only on 8 euro for seat reservation for almost the same time. Why is the rail planner not optimising to show me the optimised travel option ?How do I navigate this issue? It would be great if someone could throw some light on this issue. I am facing

Can I use the app to pay for a journey, to avoid using a day from my Pass?

We have 3 month continuous Interrail passes. Once activated, can the 3 month period be deactivated or paused and restarted within the 1-year validity period?

Anyone has suggestion for the best comfort route from Amsterdam to Bologna italy ? I also noticed a “bug” related to night trains in the trip planner from the App, when selecting night train option in the planner nothing shows if your itinerary has multiple legs and only one is with night trains . Seeing no options I booked for now daytime I am going via Munich, trying also chuchuu.com to verify train reliability as after one booking a timetable was different from the journey in the German train DB website and schedules!please provide options for my comeback from Bologna to Amsterdam, probably a night train would be better for me! tomorrow going viaAmsterdam → Duisburg HBf (ICE) → Munich HBf (RJ)→ Bologna centrale   

Hello Forum and especially Support Team,I am in a severe emergency. My trip starts tomorrow night (Sunday).I purchased a Mobile Pass. An older version of the Rail Planner app is already installed,but I have an iPhone SE iOS 15.8.8  and when I try to open it to add my pass, it triggers a forced update screen and prevents me from accessing my pass. I cannot update the app due to iOS limitations, and I do not have access to another smartphone.I already submitted an official support ticket yesterday evening, but I have not received a reply yet. Thing is, had I known, I’d have bought regular train tickets. I’m travelling to France on relative short notice for the funeral of my aunt there.  When I compared prices, Interrail was the cheaper option, so. And even I cancel the pass now - regular ticket prices have meanwhile GONE THROUGH THE ROOF and I can’t afford to buy those tickets. Really can’t. I am writing to inquire about the seat reservation rules and validity of the Eurail France One Country Pass for cross-border TGV Lyria routes.Specifically, I am planning to travel from Basel (Basel SBB / Bâle SNCF) to Paris (Paris Gare de Lyon) on a direct TGV Lyria train. I checked the Rail Planner App, which indicates that the France One Country Pass is valid and supports seat reservations for the TGV Lyria segment from Basel to Mulhouse. Since the direct train from Basel to Paris travels through Mulhouse anyway, does this mean the pass fully covers the entire direct journey to Paris?Furthermore, I would like to know if this same logic applies to the TGV Lyria route between Paris and Geneva. As Geneva is also a border station, can I use the France One Country Pass to book a direct train (TGV Lyria) from Paris to Geneva?Thank you for your time and clarification.
